okay, first of all, don't be offended by this, because i know there's a possibility that that could happen. that is not my intention, however. this is just something i was wondering, and am genuinely curious about. here's the question: if you had the power to do one of two things, would you want to act out your current sexual fantasies, or would you give yourself normal ones?

Depends on what you mean by "act out your current sexual fantasies." My fantasies usually involve ridiculous things like reformation and transformation, effectively allowing everything to be safe long-term (aside from potential psychological problems). In which case definitely option 1, since it'd basically be a full transportation to a magical universe with anthros and intelligent animals and the like. x3

But failing that, I still don't think I'd pick option 2. As an asexual, it doesn't really bother me that I can't actually act out these fantasies. Having vore as a fetish is just a little spice to my life, and the community's small enough to feel like a community. I like that standard porn is unappealing to me, and I even kinda like my asexuality; I feel it gives me more free-time to dedicate to hobbies, and relieves a lot of stress with interacting with others.

Plus, in the roulette of fetishes, you could do a lot worse than vore.

The first one since my fantasy involves the whole thing being safe, sanitary, etc. I think that's why my fantasy is the way it is. Despite it being so unrealistic, actually enjoying it if it could happen is 100% realistic.

EDIT: actually, "safe" isn't really a good word to use. I would like to survive it unscathed, but the threat that the pred could destroy me on a whim is part of what makes it so exciting. I would replace it with a better word, but can't think of one.

Like others have said, it depends on a lot of conditions but probably the first one.
If it's matching the fantasies exactly and I can choose to exclude some of my fantasies, then it would include reformation and reduced pain, so I'd take that.
If not, then possibly if I was terminally ill or something, but otherwise I'd just stick to fantasy, and not make my sexuality "normal".

Whenever I see or hear people talking about their real-world relationships it seems to be about cheating and how much they hate each other for it, and I found some of the nicest people I've ever come across through fetish communities, so given the choice, I would not change my sexuality.

Now I wonder if I would rather do both (act out the fantasy, then lose it when I'm finished) or neither. I'd probably do neither, because I wouldn't be able to look back on acting out the fantasy as a good experience.
