Vorarephiles in oppressive regimes

I recently made a thread about vore on the deep web. As an argument for why such would exist, I explained how people in rogue regimes might be unable to access vore content on the surface web, due to anti-porn firewalls and what not. Then the discussion got me thinking, and I decided to make a different thread about this since now I'm legitimately intrigued.

Frankly I'm curious whether there are any vore lovers in countries with less free regimes... at least any that we know of. Is anyone aware of any vorarephiles from places like China, Iraq, Siria, and others among those lines? Perhaps someone who lives or stayed in such a place is even on this forum, and could tell us more about it?

The reason why I found this an interesting question is the difficulties it implies; I'm curious how hard living in a place with internet censorship or under ideological control makes it to be part of the community, and how members manage to overcome these challenges. Do members of certain nations need to use VPN's to come here or visit sites similar to Eka's, and could some even risk being arrested or vigilante-justiced by the local community if caught? If yes, to what extent do people who enjoy it have to shut up about that, and has it caused some to hide or abandon the community out of fear? What stories were documented regarding this sort of thing?

Obviously I don't seek to trigger any political discussion, beyond the question of what it's like to be a vore person living in such a place. I'm okay with one happening as far as the forum rules allow, just no heated arguments please.

There are vore lovers everywhere. Literally everywhere. They're just harder to find because it's unaccepted all over the place. Which, to be quite fair, is the way it should be. We're all terrible here xD Also I love all of you.

I have been curious about vore popularity in 'other' countries as well. Frankly speaking Eka's attracts English speakers more than non-English speakers, way more, so it may be a bit hard to find out this kind of people here.

For the most choke fetishists are accepted. Why not vore?

Even America is becoming one of those kinds of places.

Anyway...

If I'm one of them that lives in such a hostile place, my fetish is likely on a very back burner in the midst of day-to-day survival.

Not sure if Russia counts, but I had no problems with being a vorephile here.

An artist friend has this issue. I don't know what country they are from because they keep that secret and do not want that information to link back to them in some way. If their government found out, they could be in serious trouble, though I do not know to what extent that trouble would entail... :?

I will point this out to them and see if they wouldn't mind coming in and talking about it.

((EDIT)) Changed names. I was also misinformed about their current status. They would like to talk about it, but can't right now.

vore isnt limited to specific countries or coultures thats for sure. i am sure you will find people into vore all around the planet. its kinda taboo even in more liberate countries and of course in countries less free than the ones we live in the people keep it even more hidden but it will exist. restrictions of the goverment and society wont change anything about the peoples interests. for sure for these people its much harder but thats all the difference about. there are many different ways for these people to get the stuff they want and i am sure many people will use them.

I think once someone makes the leap to being okay with pornography and masturbation, it won't take long for them to discover their fetishes. The only voreaphiles that I think wouldn't look into their fetish would be highly religious people or people that just don't look at porn for whatever reason. I get that places like China and the Middle East have internet censorship, but to be honest it is not hard for them to get around it. Furthermore, censorship is usually used to prevent people from criticizing the state. The government really couldn't care less about how people get their rocks off. They make a half-assed attempt at censoring pornography but it's not exactly hard for people to find.

As of 2015, the top 10 searchers for online pornography were the following countries:

1. Pakistan
2. Egypt
3. Vietnam
4. Iran
5. Morocco
6. India
7. Saudi Arabia
8. Turkey
9. Philippines
10. Poland

The government does care how people get their rocks off if it's a theocracy, where religious doctrine is the basis of government rather than secular legislation. Just about every religion that would be predisposed to maintaining a theocracy is one that is, by it's nature, very controlling of it's subjects which includes bedroom habits. You see this even in the united states, particularly in Texas, where laws that try to outlaw masturbation, or recriminalize anal sex aren't uncommon. Clearly they're religiously motivated, and folks who put forward such propositions don't understand the barest glimmers of the concept of the separation of church and state. Many of them think 'separation of church and state' means 'all churches but mine because mine is correct.

So, look for governments with heavy theocratic influence, and you'll find regimes that are prime candidates for such legislations.

I honestly came to this thread thinking it was about how fictional predators would rule countries and make them hellholes for prey or something like that, and I was gonna write an essay on how I pulled that off. XD Though I would say that this is an interesting question that I'd like to see answered, but many in this thread do have good points.

I'd have to agree with Anne here. Typically theocratic governments are most likely the ones to ban sex-related stuff. It wouldn't surprise me if some governments would consider voraphilia "a sin against god" or whatever the fuck, especially in places where they fuck goats.

I'm an American that has traveled a lot. During my travels I lived in Saudi Arabia for about two years. It is one of the most strict, intolerant governments in the world. It is a theocracy ruled by a king. I'll give you some examples of my experiences and answer your question in the third paragraph.

On entering the country, you are given a questionnaire. Under religion you may choose Muslim or Christian and nothing else. I wrote in no affiliation and they gave me a new one saying I could not do that. They confiscated cd's with pictures of women printed on the cd saying it was porn. You are not allowed to hold your wife's hand in public. You are not allowed to sit next to or speak with a woman that isn't related to you in public. They have spared seating for men and women/families. They will confiscate crosses, Winnie the Pooh merchandise (a kid had Tigger taken away from them because Tigger is a friend of Piglet, who is pork and pork is banned). Porn is most definitely illegal and the government has filters that will keep you from them. All these rules are enforced by anything from prison time to lashings up to public execution by beheading.

I tried to go to a porn site once and it was blocked. I didn't want to keep experimenting because I didn't want to attract attention. I never did try a vpn, but the filter is very insufficient. Fetish sites like this one won't get blocked. I don't know if that's because people running the blocker aren't as strict as the people making the laws, if it's normal obsolescence problems, or if the people running it just know very little about fetishes because of how strict the culture is on sexual expression. But the key in that country was to go to a non porn site that had porn on it. Like deviant art or something. I've never been big on porn, so it wasn't a big deal for me, but I was definitely not a fan.

Wow... that is every form of horrifying. Thanks for sharing your experience, this is interesting to know never the less!

Sorry my phone kind of butchered parts of that, but yeah, it was intense. They encouraged westerners to go to the public executions and would push you right up to the front to get a real good look if you went. I declined, as I don't like the idea of being pushed by an unfriendly crowd toward a chopping block currently being used.

No, it's not. Now we're deporting the Islamo-fascists who wished to make it so.

If only the same could be done with people in government trying to create a dystopian society, based on mind control and censorship, using said Islamo-fascists as a primary excuse for that...

The best part about this that Saudi Arabia has full support of the US and other Western nations, and many companies actually do business there. The world is just a wonderful place sometimes, huh?

I dunno about that, but the Islamo-fascism thing is definitely not a conspiracy theory. There are people in those countries who cut off heads of those they consider "infidels", or throw acid in the faces of girls who try to get an education, etc. If you want to say that there are people in government who take advantage of that, maybe, but its not like they don't have a point...
