I agree the stress thing is a bit weird.

As for me its sort of a kink though I don't really often get aroused or care about it when I do. For me vore is an intricate and morbid theme that lends itself perfectly to a lot of interesting worldbuilding and storytelling potential. Basically its the same way I treat all my other fetishes.

It's a fetish and then some. If it's beautiful females being harmless predators, it's a fetish. Otherwise, it can be comical, fascinating, etc. Sometimes, it's a combination of things. It really depends on the content.

I do like how there can be so many different reasons for why someone takes a liking to this fetish or other things in life, and then we have me with just 1 major reason for why I like stuff. Partially why I'm quoting you here.

On my end I really only have one major reason, with a few minor ones that follow it. And that is; BDSM. At it's base vore is about domination and submitting. While a lot more macabre than other forms of BDSM (And yet not as strange sometimes, which is surprising), it fits thematically all the same.

And as for minor reasons, it's because it reminds me very much of vacbeds from the BDSM fetish scene. Vacbeds for those unaware, are basically 2 sheets of latex along with a frame of piping, that you use to trap a person between the sheets and suck the air out of. You can imagine how that'd likely be related to this fetish, as I have an overwhelming preference for tight stomachs due to this. And the idea or thought of having someone adding to a gal's curves, preferably not to as ludicrous an extent you see on this site at times but still making her decently curvy, is pretty appealing. Again, macabre but somewhat the point too. Plus I've always like moderately thicker women so, that lines up pretty well with the rest.

I guess it's a kink? Or a fetish? It's 100% an act of romance and sensuality, that arouses me sexually, but I don't typically masturbate at all to Vore content. Quite the opposite actually, viewing and reading vore helps me control and focus my sexual desire constructively, it's quite cathartic. Since I started getting focusing on Vore, my urge to watch pornography and/or masturbate has gone way down and is back at healthy and manageable levels for the first time in a few years.

Sounds very reasonable. My main reasons are that its really fun to explore storytelling and worldbuilding potential it brings. However it also ties into my other two main fetishes, adipophilia and eproctophilia, really well. Along with that there is still that domination and submission element and I do get an aspect of sadistic pleasure from killing off fictional characters in cruel and unusual ways.

To be honest vore isn't really my thing. I have a fascination with people seeking pleasure and not considering or caring about the consequences though. It happens enough in vore type stuff to bring me here. I just wish there was some kind of "willing sex sacrifice" forum or community out there, then I'd be with my type instead of getting an oblique fix.
