With all the topics that assume a prey preference, I think a space to get to know our preds is in order. So here's a question or two to get things rolling, but feel free to just chat and discuss your preferences, characters, and whatever else comes to mind.
I know there are a couple of pred threads out there, but I love polls and questionnaires lmao so I wanted to make my own just lemme do my thang.

Questions about you as a pred:

1. To what extent do you insert yourself into your fantasies? (Do you imagine your IRL self or a representation of you as pred, or prefer to watch characters do it?)

1.1 ) I'd like to be what I've described above and it is the identity I use for predatory purposes.
1.2 ) Started as observer. Tried prey, but my tastes in predators are far too refined for that.
1.3 ) Dragon predator, human observer and rarely prey.
1.4 ) Generally I do. I have a good friend or two who introduced me to the predatory side of life, however.
1.5 ) Fatal, no reformation.
1.6 ) Bite only to incapacitate. Prey is to be digested alive if at all possible.

1.9 ) I distinguish between food people and people food. I do not cook prey.

Should not interact with prey much - no taunting, gloating or teasing. Biologically preferrably reptilian, male and somewhat larger than their prey.

I don't, I keep myself and humanity as far away from my fantasies as possible XD

I'm a switch with a usual prey preference. I just sometimes enjoy a good pred scene when I want to see a pred done the way I like XD

I will usually play multiple roles, to a simple kindly asked request and a good idea I like.

4. Do you work alone?
Usually, because a 1-2-1 scene can get a lot more intimate under the right circumstances~

"Fatal", Digestion is a MUST, but it's always with reformation, and gentle, and painless.

6. Do you chew your prey?
Only if asked to, and, only if it;s a non fatal chewing (With a bagillion painkillers, because pain doesn't go well with me most the time.)

7. What's your preferred prey like?
Willing, cuddly, anthro/feral, and most importantly, about a willing meal size for the predator.

8. How much do you normally eat in one sitting?
1 prey, the only prey, and enjoy them as much as I can.

9. How do you feel about cooking or food prep?
Not something I usually do, but a bit of nonfatal prep is fun at times.

Feral: Reptiles, Canines, Zorgoia, Sergals, Mythological creatures (No humans or demis), taurs (no humans)

Pretty much girls of any type as long as they're of age (I tend to play with my food) But body type and species and such don't matter much. I also prefer them to be full-sized as opposed to micros, but I'll also love eating big gals that are even bigger than myself.

The former, if I can still move after a meal, I haven't had enough ;3 And even then I'll probably still keep trying to eat more.

A little seasoning can't hurt, or stuff like pouring chocolate on gals, but I'm not one for sticking a girl into an oven or anything.

I only play Vincent, and he's generally nice and adorable, but obviously very gluttonous.

1) I usually imagine fantastical worlds where the predator is some kind of nonhuman creature. If we're dealing with human vore in the real world, sure, I imagine my IRL self as the predator sometimes.
2) Yes, to an extent.
3) I'm fine with playing the role of prey. I only like being an observer in fatal scenarios specifically.
4) Usually alone, though multiple preds working together sounds like a fun time.

Well, I`m more of a prey type, but I do enjoy playing preds, especially male preds, even though I`m a girl in real life. But I`ll do this anyway.

1. I don`t actually insert myself into my fantasies, I use self-insert characters or OC`s for that.
2. As I said above, I am mainly prey. When I do portray preds, I do it in my own writing, because someone`s gotta do the eating, after all.
3. Male human/humanoid predator, usually a giant, or someone who shrinks his prey. In roleplays, I usually portray myself as a cheeky giantess.
4. I do things alone.
5. I prefer fatal, but I do non-fatal on occasion.
6. I mostly do soft vore, but sometimes I do a little biting.
7. My preferred prey is a tiny or shrunken human or humanoid girl, usually cute little Lolita girls.

1: Both. I insert myself into my fantasies when I think of devouring some random hot chick, female porn star, and/or actress. I also fantasize about different preds doing the eating too.

2: Yes. I've tried leaning towards prey but find I'm not a fan of being prey at all and love being a pred.

I generally use characters that I identify with more or less, but there are rare occasions when I play as myself. But only with people I know well.

I think I started off as more of an observer but somehow that evolved into preferring to be the one doing the eating.

Sometimes I bounce back to observing. It doesn't get indulged very often though because I get a little bored with it in rp. There have also been some rare occasions when I have been amused by playing prey, but those moments are extremely rare.

In all honesty, my girls prefer it when the food comes to them. Aside from being friends with other preds they don't really work well with others. But, of course, it's always nice to have someone around to give tummy rubs too, but that's an after dinner activity.

Hmm I guess it depends on how you want to see it. I suppose you could say i prefer fatal because the prey gets digested (because why else eat them if not for food?) and when the body digests it tends to die. But you could also say that i like nonfatal because I reform my prey, ether on or off screen so technically they aren't dead. . . but they were. . . . uhm did that make sense?

Oh my god why chew??? The blood ruins the flavor, bones and organs get stuck in your teeth, and they don't wiggle anymore if you do that!

Well my favorite snack is short chubby women but any size within reason will do. As will males of any reasonable size. Any height from 6 inches to uhm. . . well the maximum height depends on which character I'm using I guess. Personality isn't generally important in the grab and gulp situations but since I tend to reform them, friendly people are a plus. Also they usually taste better.

We usually eat until it gets pleasantly uncomfortable. The number of prey it takes to achieve that is different for each character though.

Aside from dipping someone in something sweet or pinning a micro food of some sort I'm not really into food prep and cooking is just a nope because, again, when you cook them the prey tends to not squirm.

I prefer using/viewing characters that i can identify with in some way, but usually don't use full-blown self-inserts. I have toyed with the idea a little lately, though, since it's mostly some personal hangups that keep me from feeling more "involved" in my fantasies (not just vore) and I'm trying to overcome that. I do also like to just watch an attractive character be the pred, without identifying with them on a deeper level at all, and sometimes i'm only here to watch an attractive prey get ate up so i don't give two hoots about the pred.

As far back as I can recall, I've always tended toward either identifying with the pred role or being a pred-leaning observer. I was always the "bad guy" trying to eat the other kids' characters on the playground.

If I'm involved (directly or indirectly through a relatable character) in a scenario/fantasy, I prefer to stick with the pred role. I've never had any interest in being prey, with the exception of some extremely rare "comfort" scenarios, but I will occasionally take an observer role under the right circumstances.

Usually I work alone, but I do love the idea of two preds working together.

I prefer fatal (or at least potentially fatal) in most situations, but sometimes I like just seeing a couple or friends engaging in safe play because it's something they both enjoy. Usually i like that more for intimacy than for the vore aspect. When it's just about someone getting eaten, fatal is my go-to. Reformation kind of rides the line, and just depends on the scenario.

6. Do you chew your prey? (Hard vore, soft vore, maybe a little of both?)

I like both, though I usually favor soft vore, or a combination in which some parts are chewed/bitten off and the rest is swallowed whole. When it's gory hard vore, I usually prefer the entire prey (or at least most of it) to be eaten in one sitting.

Small, curvy females are my favorite, usually human/humanoid, sometimes anthro. But I can enjoy male prey scenarios as long as they're not intended to make me identify with the prey role. I also really like non-sapient animal prey. Nine times outta ten, I like prey to be unwilling; them having an obnoxious personality is a bonus for guilt-free snacking, but it isn't necessary. Sometimes prey being innocent just makes them more attractive and thus makes the whole scenario more appealing.

8. How much do you normally eat in one sitting? (Are we talking so many preys you can't move, just a tiny snack here and there, or what?)

I prefer the pred to at least eat enough to make a good-sized belly bulge. Whether that means one or multiple preys depends on the size difference and my mood. Usually one or two similar-size prey is enough, but every now and then, it'll be more.

9. How do you feel about cooking or food prep? (Do you like your prey plain, seasoned, or completely transformed into a beautiful dinner spread?)

Plain, covered in sauce, wrapped in bacon, made into soup (I also love the old visual gag of sitting in a giant stew pot like it's a bath lol), it's all good. I love cooking and food prep, though they definitely aren't necessary for vore; they're more like a separate interest for me that happens to overlap.

10. What are your preferred pred characters like? (Are there certain qualities they must have, or that you prefer them to have? Do they vary a lot? Are they just you?)

If the focus is on being the pred, then the pred should be male, clearly made to be some kind of predator, larger than their prey, and/or whatever else it takes to make them relatable for me. If the focus is more on the visuals of the prey being eaten, just about anything (including non-humanoid monsters, animals, and machines) will do as long as the prey is cute. The pred characters I normally roll with tend to be confident and dominant in personality, but the more developed characters will have a softer side and be more selective about who (and why) they eat.

it kinda depends on how in-depth the material i'm writing/drawing/viewing is. the more detail and development the story and characters have, the more my personal morality will affect how i view it. not always in the obvious way, since i like things that would be pretty horrible in real life, but in smaller ways like wanting there to be an understandable motivation and having limits on what's "too far" in terms of the prey's suffering, the pred's attitude toward them, etc.

I try to eat healthy, but thanks to some health issues and my current lifestyle/budget putting some limitations on me, I'm still going through a little trial-and-error to find out what works best for me. But for the most part, i do what i can to eat natural, avoid the obvious baddies (anything artificial, hydrogenated oils, etc), and struggle to get enough protein and vegetables without overdoing it on the carbs. i do give in to junk food every now and then, and especially carbs. :[ i'm trying, though. sort of.

Definitely an extrovert, but aforementioned personal hangups make it hard for me to socialize in person for the time being. So people think i'm introverted and avoid approaching me, which just makes me feel terrible lol because I lose my energy really quickly when I don't have people to socialize with. I love meeting people, getting to know them, and just being around others and feeding off that energy--wait that part sounded like a vampire... idk how to word the last bit but oh well hopefully it makes sense anyway~

10. Do you consider yourself a creative type?

I may not be the best at it, but yeah. I've been writing and drawing and making things for as long as I've been able to do so, as far back as i can remember, no matter how frustrating it is or how many times i wanna throw my tablet out the window and declare that i hate art. I especially love character development and world building, not just physically making things but actually putting heart and soul into them. I think that's an important aspect of creativity in any avenue; if it ain't got soul, it ain't worth much, no matter how good it is (or isn't) on a technical level.

With all the topics that assume a prey preference, I think a space to get to know our preds is in order. So here's a question or two to get things rolling, but feel free to just chat and discuss your preferences, characters, and whatever else comes to mind.
I know there are a couple of pred threads out there, but I love polls and questionnaires lmao so I wanted to make my own just lemme do my thang.
This is tied to an ulterior motive of creeping on us preds, right? Well as long as you keep it down and don't start asking something suspicious or weird like what we eat IRL.

Questions about you as a pred:

1. To what extent do you insert yourself into your fantasies? (Do you imagine your IRL self or a representation of you as pred, or prefer to watch characters do it?)
Not really. Though I very much take myself into account when creating characters, and feel more confident portraying ones I can relate to to a degree. However, I do not insert myself during the actual roleplay.

2. Have you always leaned toward the pred role? (How have your role/POV preferences changed over time, if any?)
I started out undecided and neutral, and have taken rather naturally to the pred side. Despite still being neutral, I don't have that thing where people get tired of a role when they're switch.

3. Do you ever switch roles, and if so, to what? (Are you ever in the mood to be prey or observer, or maybe even take more than one role during an encounter?)
I am technically still very much neutral, and have a few preyish designs lying around when someone asks me to be that role. If an interesting enough person is interested in my prey characters, I play that for them if they otherwise give me what I want. Taking up the prey role doesn't come as natural and takes a little effort, but I suppose it shakes things up when it happens.

4. Do you work alone? (Or are you the type to hunt with a partner or pack of fellow preds?)
Yes. Though there's sometimes the context that someone who is pred to others is my prey, but it's not like I affect their predding. Mutli-RP is a fun idea until you actually try it, what it actually is, is waiting for posts multiplied by amount of people, then having to react to everything that happened. You're either with a bunch of one-liners, or just really bored in the chat side of things, then there's that one person who stops showing up and - basically, it's hard enough to coincide with a single person, the logistics and risks around more have never quite been worth the enjoyment for me, and as someone who enjoys intimacy, the divided attention gets in the way to the point of it only working in very specific constellations, I have achieved such a constellation, but that was mostly just luck, and it's rather unfeasible to search for. This is of course, in the context of my own enjoyment.

5. Do you have a preference for fatal or nonfatal? (Or do you switch it up--and if so, under what circumstances?)
I like both. Fatal has some nice oomph to it, nonfatal can be quite cute. They cater to different aspects, either of which I can come to enjoy.

If that's what they like. I can also dine with silverware, for that matter.

Thinking it is relevant to note in your character profile that you as a person are of a specific political or religious belief - other than perhaps stating that you are not a real nazi unlike your character, or really genuinely telling that you are truly that sensitive (I mean, if you truly can't help it) over it - is the kind of decision that raises a red flag for me.

Hey all. This seemed interesting and relevant to my interests, so I think I'll give my two-cents. This will describe myself as my alter-ego/fursona/way-to-express-my-femme-aspects, Rachel "The Seeker" Ash, an anthro lioness.

It's always my furry representation of myself that's used in my fantasies, when I use her. I like to imagine other characters eating Rachel sometimes, or even fantasize about other characters even without Rach. But I never imagine my RL self in these visions.

Pretty much, I've always leaned primarily toward predator. Back in the day when I was creating my first bits of vore content (that I've never shared and no longer have), I used a prototype version of my tigress Jori (my original vore-'sona) and used her wholly in pred roles.

I'm known to be a switch at times, but I'd say 75% of the time Rachel is a predator. I haven't really been much of a vore-eur (sorry for the bad pun).

The vast majority of the time I hunt alone, but I've drawn Rachel alongside fellow predators with full bellies before.

In recent times I have fantasized about endo, but more oft than not I prefer fatal. That said, you really have to give me a real good reason to permanently kill you off, and I'll never perma-vore others' characters.

With proto-Jori I'm sure I've written at least once scene where she chomps someone to draw blood whilst swallowing them whole. Otherwise it's primarily soft.

Same-sized prey, usually female or intersex/"herm" but can make exceptions for the right guys. Usually lean toward furries, but I feel I could use more demis in my diet and can appreciate humans. I'm lenient on prey body types, but I have a soft spot for overweight (not obese) or toned (not heavily muscular) victims. Personality holds no bearing over their victimization for my appetite.

Usually a meal is a single person; sometimes I indulge a bit with two people inside me, but I find it more "intimate" to just consume one person at a time. Besides, most folks will nourish me for days on end, and my metabolism and exercise routine will keep me from gaining much weight if I stick to one person, especially if they're lean.
Not that I don't like getting a bit plump for a week or so after glutting or eating someone who's obese!

I find it the most convenient to just eat my prey plain, as I tend to prefer the grab-and-gulp. That said, for taking willing prey (which is usually done in sensual and almost ceremonious matter), adding flavor to them with seasoning or condiments is wonderful.

I guess I prefer predators similar to myself. I'm not a fond of over-cruel predators, and can't respect anyone who would eat underage victims. That said, I like predators with a certain style to them, and whether or not they have a conscience to them doesn't matter so much if they aren't complete assholes or child-killers.

Outside of vore, I'm a huge fantasy dork. I'm into almost every kind of music, though 80's hits and video game OSTs are my favorites. I'm heavily into tabletop RPGs, though I lean toward more story-based systems as opposed to combat-centric ones these days. I'm a martial arts enthusiast, though I prefer European weapons and armor much more than Eastern (though I do have a soft spot for certain Chinese weapon styles). Aside from the occasional video game, I also draw now and again and I endeavor to hone my writing skills.

Hard to say exactly. Kind of a mix between the second two. Every character that I write about is me to an extent.

Always been a predator and, if anything, may have become slightly more preyish in recent years. When I first joined the site I was really surprised by how many people seemed to enjoy pretending that terrible things were happening to them instead of getting to do them to others. However, after writing so many stories where I have to put myself in the prey's position to see how they would behave I've started to enjoy the flood of terror and adrenaline that come from being hunted. Still consider myself far more of a predator than prey though.

Kind of answered this above. I switch back and forth constantly while writing to work out how each character should act. The prey perspective is fun but nothing beats being the dominant hunter.

Fatal and no reformation. To me this probably the most important part of a vore scene. If the prey is not in any actual danger then there is nothing at stake and I won't get any enjoyment out of it. A few of my stories do end with some or all of the prey surviving but only if they managed to escape, outwit, or befriend the predator. I'd still consider these to be fatal as getting digested would have ended their life and was, at least for a while, a very real possibility for them.

Nope. Well, maybe a little nibbling if I want them to suffer more but rarely hard enough to draw blood. I want them to go down whole so the acids can take care of them.

Size – Large enough to be filling and make a bit of a bulge. Small enough to fit inside without excessive stretching.
Gender – No preference. I tend to write more female characters but have no idea why as either are equally satisfying.
Species – Happy with anything but traditionally prey species (such as mice and rabbits) are my favorites as I get to rub in that this is just their role in life.
Body type – No real preference. Not too skinny, I guess, as they are more filling that way but I could just catch some more if not full.
Personality – Timid and a little naive are the most fun, most satisfying, and the easiest to catch. Don't care too much though, it's not like they are going to be around for long.

Wow, this is a far reaching question. Probably yes, in thousands of ways I haven't noticed as well as a few that I have.

One thing that has been pointed out to me is that the predators in my settings are usually very law abiding and only eat people in situations that they are legally allowed to. This is probably something to do with them being an extension of myself. I hate breaking rules (even in situations where it would be reasonable to do so) and so my characters behave in the same way. There are probably a great many other aspects of my characters' personalities that mirror my own behavior and expectations as well.

Going the other way, I think that my interest in predators being able to justify their actions has made me a lot less confident about my political assumptions. Writing out hundreds of carefully constructed arguments for why eating someone alive is completely fine and in no way immoral has made me much less sure that the arguments I construct for things I actually believe in are any more valid.
