When did you hear about vore?
What was the video/ article where you first heard what vore meant? If a person told you, how did the conversation come about? Did you know you had the fetish at the time? I first came about the term in a Planet Dolan video called something like 'our weirdest secrets' or something like that. I remember immediately knowing that's the fetish I had and looking up "vore" straight after, causing me to immediately find Cakeinferno and FeedFancier, who still remain my favorite artists. For years before that, I had just looked up "inside a stomach" and watched stomachcam videos on youtube.

I first found out what it meant on a general-purpose pornographic art website, where it was one of the tags I saw occasionally. I only saw a very limited selection of vore, and I did not know I had the fetish because the type of Vore I am into was not something I realized counted as Vore.

I was RPing on a message board as my usual dragon sona. Long story short, I ate someone, he enjoyed it, I was then like "OMG You like that stuff too???" and.... yeah, it went from there. XD

Re: When did you hear about vore?
back before it was a "thing" that got meme'd on a lot, i think most people found the term, like myself, by seeing it pop up a lot when searching for "swallowed whole" and "eaten alive" and similar things, before finding places like eka's and this community.
first few times i saw it i remember thinking it was like the title of a foreign movie or something, cuz it wasnt super widespread, so was only on like, a handful of video titles and stuff.

Re: When did you hear about vore?
I remember looking up phrases like 'swallowed alive' and such for videos to watch, mostly on Youtube. In one of my searches, I was recommended a 'vore' compilation and after watching it I decided to just look up the word to see if it meant what I thought it meant.
After that, it went as you expected. I discovered some pictures and sites, surprisingly I discovered ekas years after my initial discovery, which is disappointing as ekas has become my favorite place to inhabit.
As for knowing about this particular fetish when I was looking it up, I of course was aware that it existed, since I had it, but knew nothing about it specifically, and was actually very self-conscious about it until discovering sites like this, as I thought something was seriously wrong with me, as it didn't seem that widespread. Though, the videos I saw before that did make me feel slightly better at the realization I wasn't the only one who liked the idea of being eaten.

Re: When did you hear about vore?
I think I knew about it in some capacity for most of my life, as I always enjoyed stories involving going into someone's stomach. The whole reason I HAVE belly fetishes of any kind is because of the Magic School Bus episode when they go into Arnold's stomach! I didn't hear the word "vore" until I was 14 and someone on a message board asked me about it when I said I had a crush on Gloria from Madagascar and wanted to take a nap on her belly. I said I'd never heard of it and looked it up myself, and the rest is history.
It kind of traumatized me at the time for a couple reasons. For one, I hated pornography and would always feel guilty about looking it up, usually confessing to my parents that I had afterward and crying about it, so using the internet to look up ANYTHING sexy made me feel bad (I also didn't masturbate until I was much older, I'd just stare at vaguely sexy pictures for hours on end, which made it impossible to even curb my urges). So a fetish that deliberately involved fatality or being aggressive to someone made me feel like I was supporting something criminal by liking it, and I didn't have anyone telling me otherwise or validating my feelings. It's amazing to imagine how much easier it is to converse with people who have your kink these days, whereas back then you either had porn, "the talk" or nothing.

Re: When did you hear about vore?
I saw Back to the Future 2 like most people, but didn't know what it meant. I forgot about it for a long long time until I I found animexpansion. At first I didn't care for the other tags on there until I ended up on Metalforever's page with like 3 vore pics. I ended up finally having a search term and that led me into this bottomless pit.

There was a short 4 page comic called An Introduction To Anal Vore. For some reason I found myself slightly turned on by it. The more I thought about, the more I wanted to know. So I eventually came across this site and the rest is history.

Re: When did you hear about vore?
The first time I saw the term "vore" was also before I even realized I equated eating things with sex. For some reason one day I just got an urge to try and find a video of a dinosaur eating a person on youtube. I'll never know why I had the sudden thought to look for it, but it lead me straight to some very explicit 3D vore animations by an artist I always forget the name of.
Oddly enough, I'm almost solely into female human/monstergirl vore now, despite that introduction.

Re: When did you hear about vore?
First time was watching MIB 2 and seeing that one vore scene don't know why at first it was odd, but then it interested me. Then i think most people did this went on youtube and type in swallowed alive or that scene from the film and got the text vore. Old youtube had alot of old vore video and comic on it so i can say mostly it was got me into same size vore and human or furry vore.

Re: When did you hear about vore?
I first saw the word "vore" on YouTube, when I was around 11 or 12. I had been watching videos of video game deaths I was familiar with(Crash 2 and 3 scenes, Resident Evil: Outbreak, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 0, The Sims 2), and they all contained vore. I quickly went down the rabbit hole and found videos all featuring the deaths where a character is swallowed whole. For awhile, I thought the word "vore" had to do with the fact that they were all death scenes, and I didn't really question it, until once, I got curious and decided to google it. I came across an Urban Dictionary definition, and got scared by the implication of being "sexually turned on by it", and I backed out of the page and stopped watching vore videos for a while, but I'd still look at pictures. I eventually started watching videos of it again after about two years, then when I turned 19, I said to myself "You know what? Fuck it. I'm weird. No use in trying to supress what is already in full effect in my subconscious." And I've been okay with being a voraphile since.
When in doubt, conquer Poland.

To TLDR: Kphoria.
But distinctly remember it the series of videos was Rollercoaster Tycoon Fails -> Zoo Tycoon Fails -> Zoo Tycoon T-Rex Eats Park -> Zoo Tycoon T-Rex Rampage -> Monster Eats Girl (By VMN) -> Kphoria that gave me the word to look for afterwards.

Not until my best friend introduced me to macrophilia. I had always been into giants eating people ever since I was young, but I only recently learned the official terms. After my friend talked to me about macrophilia, I searched it up on Wikipedia, and then found a page next to it about vore. I read into it, and it all kind of spiraled down from there.

I had found that i was interested a scene from the Sword of Truth anime movie, for some reason i like the fact of the tiger eating people, and over the course of a couple of years i found out what vore was.

Re: When did you hear about vore?
A bunch of friends and I were in Teamspeak one day waiting to play League of Legends and someone posted a picture by Vorelord. It was a dragon swallowing another dragon and I could not take my eyes off of it. I had to figure out what it was from, so I reverse image searched it, found e629, and now I am degenerate trash.

I wasn't even searching for it at all. I stumbled upon it on DevianArt when I was casually browsing pokemon art. I found Forceswerewolf's "Eaten by Ninetales" series. I've never been so... excited in my life.

Re: When did you hear about vore?
It was a website where you could watch clips from different cartoons and movies (I think it was just animated) and the clips were titled variations of things like "Character Subject" or "Character Subject Character". I noticed that some of the videos were titled "Character Vore Character", and it didn't take me long to notice that they were clips of characters being eaten (I recognised some of the clips.) That was the first time I'd ever seen the word vore, and I eventually looked it up on DeviantArt and soon found appropriate fanart.
Avatar done as gift by Aviannapper. Deeply appreciated.

Re: When did you hear about vore?
During my early teens, I had a fascination with bare bellies and belly buttons. Didn't understand why, but I eventually started looking up videos during the era "Google Video" was a thing, before they bought Youtube IIRC.
At some point food entered into the equation, and eventually some combination of search terms or suggestions led me to vore ones. It was something I remember having an innate interest in, but since the content I would usually stumble on wasn't very good (and I was a bit of a naive lad who didn't know how to venture into "the dark parts" of the internet) it wound up being a slow burn before it clicked in my head that this was the main thing I was unconsciously looking for.
