Literotica, we aren't welcome anymore apparently.

Postby ryanshowseason3 » Fri May 18, 2018 8:19 pm

I tried to start a literotica account recently. Submit some stories that meet their guidelines. I read them, vore isn't mentioned, and I picked a story that fit their rules.

I quickly found out we are apparently not welcome there anymore even though they host other vore stories already. I sent some feedback, maybe others might like to as well.

Low key upset about that.

That's pretty lame. It's sorta my dream to someday have a pornographic art website that accepts all content without censorship or discrimination, where users wouldn't have to worry about stuff like that.

ryanshowseason3,

As a matter of principle, I would agree with you and merlovinit that it's pretty lame that they would reject it under a non-previously-mentioned we-do-not-allow-vore rule - especially if they have published vore stories before.

But can you tell us more about your story?

Was it excessively violent (from a certain point of view), and they were just too lazy to spell that out, and decided that "we do not allow vore" was an easier way to reject your story? Being a softy myself, I certainly would reject the notion that vore is excessively violent. However, let's also acknowledge that there are plenty of hardies in our community who's vore is plenty violent.

Couple's counseling.

A completely willing story with soft vore. There is digestion, there is certainly digestion stories already on the site.

So no I wouldn't say excessively violent in the least.

Well, then it sounds to me that they're being arbitrary about which kinks they allow, and which they do not. Do you think you'll appeal the decision to another editor?

Already sent a feedback pointing out that they have vore content already and asking if vore has been recently banned, and if they'll be deleting all vore content if it has in fact been banned.

Might resubmit and point out that vore has been accepted in the past and their guidelines make no mention of it being banned.

Honestly they host ads and presumably make money on vore content already hosted. If they are going to be hostile to the community at this point it's to be frank shitty of them to host that content and continue to profit on it.

Yeah, I just read your story. It's cute

Also, indeed, quite soft. Certainly not what would be rejected for excessive violence. If they're going to be closed-minded about the fetishes they don't allow, they should be up front with it. Anyway, you've published it here, so an audience that's into this stuff can enjoy it.

They specified "all content". There are still some rules here on what you can post, including that "x amount of your gallery needs to be vore" mandate.

Weird...Youtube's been cracking down on vore content too. Have we been made? has some old soccer mom tripped over a vore sight and raised all hell? Is this REALLY what the GDPR mandates are addressing? The world may never know...

Right. Don't get me wrong I'm really glad Eka's is around because otherwise it would be much harder to find a place to put my vore artwork. But I also have an interest in drawing a lot of non-vore or other fetish work that would be hard to find a place for.

So this is my first official post here.
I have never really been active here as until recently I had not had much reason. But I came across this looking for discussion about Literoticas rather sudden and arbitrary ban on vore.
I had mad a profile over a year ago. Yet because of my own procrastination I never got around to posting stories until recently. And when I did... they were all rejected. It is certainly something done recently and not thought out.

Their guidelines.. which I thoroughly read mentioned nothing about vore. And there are as far as I can measure no preexisting vore stories that have been removed.
It really annoys me that such fetishes continue to be malinged to only a few niche kink sites

Well, welcome to the club!

Since this thread is pretty much dead anyway, it would be great if you hijacked it to tell us about yourself.

I'm Scrumptious, one of the relatively vanilla preyboys around here.
