Getting Turned on by Stuff That's Meant to be Scary

I was at an amusement park a while ago and did a VR horror experience. Anyways, long story short, it ended with the viewer falling into an chasm and landing in a big, gaping maw at the bottom, after which the screen went black and the experience ended. This was supposed to be scary, but the whole thing sort of loses its scare/thrill appeal when you start to pop a boner...

Anyways, I sort of assume experiences like this are normal for voraphiles, but I still wanted to ask if anyone else experiences this on a regular basis as well?

Yes I think most scenes that are meant to be scary because getting swallowed whole and alive is scary just end up being hot. Stuff that is more related to mouths than vore too, such as the scene in one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movie when a guy has his wrists and ankles attached to a bed by tongues. It's non-vore but for the same reasons, lose all horror effects on me.

Well oddly enough stuff like that does scare me if it's meant to be scary. I don't know why I just don't find it sexy if it's meant to be scary.

well there's some things that could literally fit right in, then there's some I really can't get into. Mostly gross preds. If you have something like say... THAT scene in MIB2, then oh god yes. I can even handle things that are bordering on hard vore (chewing and such.) But if the prey is being maimed BEFORE going in the mouth, then I just don't get into it. Whether I'm intended to get off to it or not.

it depends on the voraphile that your talking about, as we have seen at aryion there are many variations, some prefer maw of humans while others want non human. some want hard vore, others want soft vore
while others want other things like tounge or stomach, so streight falling into a maw isnt enugh for them

I'm completely certain I'm not the only one here who thinks of the short film Eel Girl as effective porn rather than the horror it was intended as.
