You might be thinking of role reversal or table turning for number two?

1) I don't know what else to call it except ''Escaping the belly'', or just ''Escaping'' for short.
2) ''Role reversal'' comes to mind.
3) You're right, they're not. Guess not a lot of people are interested in seeing the prey actually put up a fight. Shame really, I think it makes it a bit more interesting when the pred has to work for their food.
A couple of the oldest art pieces on my favorite list, got favorited by me specifically because it involved some form of role reversal.

1) There are a lot of ways to phrase this. "Being a switch", "Uncertain Victor" or simply "Escape" depending on the context.
2) Role Reversal is probably the most common term for this. "Karma", "Underdog Pred" and "Comeuppance" are other terms.
3) They're not common in art because the majority of art is a still image incapable of communicating the switching dynamic. You need a comic or an animation for that. In roleplay, this is more common.

It is super common in role play, especially for a switch. As Artemis says, it's a bit more difficult to portray in art because that means the artist has to draw so much more, and most normally don't have time or inclination to do so. Another place it is fairly common is in tabletop, which as in Role Play, the lines of predator and prey are rather blurred.
So what have we learned here? Just because a predator can get a prey down doesn't mean they've won. Keeping them down is a whole different story, especially when it comes to having a very tricky prey. So predators, don't play with your food or you might be food!

1) "Lucky."
2) Prey
3) More common on this site than you'd think, but not common.
Basically, there are no special terms. Prey is prey, or escaped to be prey another day. Preds getting eaten are prey on that occasion.

I generally just see it referred to as turnabout play. I'm fairly fond, especially of when it's a "just as planned!" sort of situation, where the prey -wanted- to be eaten so they could do something to the pred from inside.

"Attempted vore" or "failed vore", sometimes.

We should probably make a separate thread so we can compile all of the stuff we find of this since it's so rare.
