In 2000 or 2001, I encountered the website of the giantess vore author Poisonpen, and his story “A less than fantastic voyage” where a teenage girl shrunk a car with three teenage boys who pissed her off at a nightclub and swallowed it with them inside, was the first vore story I ever read on the Internet. It was the highest quality story I think I’ve ever read in this genre.

What was the first significant example of vore content (any kind) that you first encountered online?

I beleive, and I'm not certain, that it was actually one of Karbo's images, reposed on another site without his permission. Over on Pahel or some similar, general adult site not actually dedicated to vore.

It was a big woman eating a guy; pretty standard Vore fare. It was labeled as Vore, which wasn't a term I was familiar with at the time, and so I looked it up and was like 'huh, ok, that's a thing' but didn't think too much about it...

I simply didn't connect at the time with the fetish. Mind you, I *had* the fetish; I'd been privately fantasizing about being eaten for my entire life, but for some reason, my brain didn't really connect my own fetish (which at the time, was mostly hard-vore oriented) with the Vore I was encountering online. I simply assumed it was something unrelated; surely all those other people didn't have the same disturbed as me, right? Surely this "Vore" thing was all cutesy and cuddly and safe, right?

...turns out I badly misjudged the Vore community when I first encountered it. I probably never would've realized how wrong I was if I hadn't stumbled across Eka's while pursing a Skyrim mod a couple of years ago. Even then, when I began to suspect that I might, in fact, be a Voreraphile, I was very reluctant to post in case I was mistaken. I was afraid my interests would shock people and I would be kink shamed, our outright banned from the site!

Eventually, I worked up the courage to introduce myself, and people were kind enough to explain that I do, in fact, fit in here!

Karbo is an extremely talented artist

I remember my first bit of vore art, but it was not online. My first online exposure was on some site, I think it was called lu.cio.us. or something like that (If this turns out to be a link, I advise against clicking it). It was a folder of hand-drawn vore with Renamon as the predator.

Now gone unfortunately, there's still some pieces of macro/micro foxy feral fun on there that I remember but have never seen pop up since...

Interestingly, I hadn't really gone in looking for vore specifically, so it was a bit of a mind=blown moment seeing how uncannily it overlapped with my already established childhood/puberty fantasies.

Probably the euphvoria YouTube channel or whatever it is called. Not the best content but the concepts stuck. If not that some random post on the anime expansion forum since that's where I initially got into fetish stuff in general.

I remember finding a story online when I was 15 of a princess forcing her way down a female dragon’s throat, and I think the dragon was her friend but was an unwilling pred. I didn’t know about the fetish at the time and I’m not sure if this was made with the intention of being erotica.

My first experience was Throat Wolf's She Wolf stories. The first time, I found it on a random porn website when I was in my teens, just learning about porn, and then I got hooked into the first she wolf story and had to look it up again, found mamabliss.com and the rest is history.

Like, I could guess, but I really can't say for definitive certainty. I do remember this one flash game where Yoshi swallows this very voluptuous woman on dA, and you can control the woman with the keyboard (at the time I though she was just some random character and knew nothing of the source material at all). I always kept jumping around, expecting Yoshi to turn his head upward, but that was never part of it, lol

My first encounter with vore was when I was on my early teens and found this page called "Blar's GTS Depot". As the name implies, it was centered around the GTS fetish, but there, our beloved Frakass had a gallery filled with pretty giantesses with bellies full of people.
And... my descent into vore began quite quickly from there.

Prior to that I just assumed that I was the only person in existence with that particular fetish, I'd never heard the word 'vore' in my entire life and knew nothing about the fetish, save that the idea of being swallowed alive turned me on for some inexplicable reason. I just thought I was a really, weird, warped person.

Then one day, a few weeks after getting my first-ever access to the internet at home I did a random search for 'swallowed alive', just out of pure curiosity. I imagined I might get to see a picture of a frog.. .or snake... or something of that nature. Instead I ended up on the Big Gulp homepage, and the stunning realisation that I was not the only one.

It was browsing YouTube with someone in 2008 or 2009. We stumbled upon Kphoria videos involving Sonic characters and Birdo that we stumbled upon. Thankfully, I wasn't into the content, but found it strange that such a similar thing to these strange thoughts I had existed. I kind of brushed it off though. It wasn't good enough to make me dig deeper.

Like JackFrost above, I thought I was the only one in existence who had this kink. Around my mid/late teen years, the idea of women getting eaten by something continued to tickle my fancy, but I often brushed it off, thinking I was a bizarre, warped person (and considering I was already called "strange" by bullies, and often beaten just for having interests, it wasn't hard for me to see that possibility). However, that all changed when I discovered Angelissa's old Pearl Gates website. I don't remember what was the exact "search" I used that day, but Pearl Gates popped up. I looked into it and discovered that, not only that I was not the only one with this fetish, but there were entire websites dedicated to it. From Pearl Gates I discovered HipHugger's old site, and, eventually, led me to Eka's Portal. After that, well, as they say, the rest is history.

It was in 2008 I think, I learned the name Vore from a youtube video by Kphoria. I was already into the concept of being swallowed whole since I was little but I didn't know what it was called. The video in question was a girl who prepared another one into a giant sandwich than swallowed her whole. The moment I knew the name Vore, I then discover site's such as Giantessbooru, Voretube, E Hentai and then finally Eka's Portal.

Whatever showed up on google when I searched for vore to know what it is. I mostly remember Karbo art or at least it's what attracted me most.
