There's really nothing that bugs me more then ass pulls in general when it comes to vore stories, or stories in general. I hate it when a prey gets eaten and then suddenly "oh wait they're immune somehow!" Or things along those lines. At least take the time to establish the why and how.

And like many others despite the fact I don't really RP I do hate when one party is made in the "playground kid who hates losing" style who always seems to be "immune" or "counters" everything thrown at them
Evil genius, lover of catgirls, and tricking people into getting eaten is my game!

Animals! Fur! I hate fur! It's masculine in the most disgusting way, all I'm willing to tolerate is some tiny hair on woman's legs or something like that, but preferably everything should be somewhat smooth.

Omnivores and processed food. I like every character in vore to be definitively a carnivore or a herbivore. Basically anything beyond cooking by boiling or roasting on an open fire is too much dietary complexity for me. I don't want the prey to be mixed with anything other than more prey, or plants that are already in the prey's stomach.

And I'm somewhat the opposite of spanxthanx - I dislike bare skin, especially in predators. I can somewhat tolerate it in prey, but predators with smooth skin (no fur, no scales, or no weird stuff like slime or a membrane that encapsulates the prey) is a hard no for me (with a slight exception for marine animals, but I'm not particularly interested in them anyway).

I have WAY too many dealbreakers - that's why I make my own content lmao.

Furs, female preds, hard vore, femboys, nagas (please god no more nagas lol), same-size, cruel preds (mostly because most folks don't seem to know how to write quality degradation and threats), hyper body proportions, weirdly blissed-out/disengaged expressions like the pred or prey are on drugs, ridiculous amounts of saliva...

I'm a picky fucker. :D

Porn talk. Y'know that really unrealistic way of talking that doesn't generally happen in the real world because it's extremely vulgar and obnoxious? Sometimes it finds its way into vore and it's... mind-numbing. I can't stand it. It entirely dehumanizes the character responsible and makes me feel like I'm eating some kinda robot. Or y'know. Food that just so happens to make sounds. Rather boring compared to eating a 'person', eh?

Painful digestion, BDSM, unwilling prey to the end, blood and gore mixed with vore, bones, parasitic insertion, furries. Pretty simple stuff.

Ughh, porn talk. Porn talk is a dealbreaker all the time and not just in vore though.

I also do not like uninterestdd preds. Preds who ACT like they are uninterested, but actually enjoy their meal might be ok though.

This are my other dealbreakers:

Vore involving utterly ugly preds or prey. The titans from Attack on Titan would be a good example.

Scenarios involving great sadness. I am ok with anger, stress, discomfort etc. but I hate scenarios that make one cry or just being utterly sad.

Scenarios where a pred never menages to ate someone, despite wanting to eat and then becomes prey themself.

Art of a girl with a big belly tagged with "vore, pregnancy, inflation." I see right through your tricks, stop it.

Overpowered Mary Sue bitches who go around like "tee-hee I'm so unstoppable I'm gonna eat all the peoples uwu <3." Ugh, just the sort of character who'd be obnoxious in almost anything. They're usually demons, giantesses, animu bullshit or some combination of the three. Wish there'd be a story where a character like this ends up having the tables turned on them, with a particularly painful digestion in store for them.

Societies where vore is a part of everyday life. I used to like this, but as I've gotten older it just feels really... stupid. Like this society undergoes what are basically mass purges everyday? Even if this world was massively overpopulated (this is the usual excuse these stories give, if they give an excuse at all) the amount of people who are implied to have been eaten would have brought the population down to rather low levels in about a month, tops. And authors get really attached to worldbuilding settings like this, too. Just say the Sexy Girl Gulpers from Hardon 5 beamed down to slurp up some ladies or something. I think some authors here believe they're gonna be the vore-Tolkien or something.

Bird girls. Look, I enjoy furry and scalie girls. I adore bug girls, and slime girls, and robots and aliens. My tastes (heh) in exotic females are vast. But I can't stand anthropomorphic bird girls, and I'm not really sure why. I'm just weird that way, I guess.

People who barely react to seeing someone get devoured right in front of them. For godsake, another sentient being was just swallowed whole right in front of you! React damn you! Don't just stand there and give me this milquetoast "oh, that's a bit peculiar." Also feeds into my dislike of the "vore is totes normal in this world" cliche.

I feel partly guilty of doing this because I love anime style and catgirls in general but I share the pain because I dislike Mary Sues and obnoxious characters a lot. It's like I feel targeted but not really? I like powerful unstoppable preds but they're not literally unstoppable like Sues are. I just use a trick where nothing strong comes in to oppose the giant threat. In this situation where there's only powerless preys around, the pred is unstoppable, but couldn't fight against nuclear weaponry, fighter jets or tanks if it came to it.

Micro prey. I am a big fan of big bulges and there is just no joy for me in pics where the predator doesn't even have to swallow.

God, this. I like writing extremely powerful macro characters, but they're not cute, and they have to earn it. If it means taking an excruciatingly painful salvo of mortars to the chest, or cutting their legs up on all the rebar from the building they just stepped on, all the better. Not in any way realistic, but I can suspend my disbelief WAY more and it creates more moving parts to have fun with.

I think some authors here believe they're gonna be the vore-Tolkien or something.

Laughed way too hard at this.

Willing prey totally kills it for me. Anything having to do with gas or filth I also nope out of. Micro prey, because I mean what's even the difference between that and a lentil. And I'm just not into hard vore at all, I want prey to survive swallowing and actually end up alive and aware inside the predator's stomach at least briefly.
