Insect/Insectoid Preds

Postby GeneticMess » Thu Apr 04, 2019 8:39 pm

They’re a rarity in vore, I feel like. I’ve seen a couple anthro bug preds here and there, but my real interest is in the feral, real deal (although I know creepy crawly preds can make some people’s skin crawl ^^;) It helps I find bugs fascinating IRL, they feel/look almost otherworldly, and as such insectoid aliens/monsters also interest me. A couple insect pred ideas I could think of off the top of my head:

- Being shrunk down to the size of a bug, making your average pest around the house (ants, spiders, roaches, termites, etc.) a much more daunting predator.
- Getting caught by a caterpillar or caterpillar-like monster/alien, and it either uses you as nourishment to cocoon up and metamorphisize (digestion) or you’re stuck inside them as they slowly turn into a butterfly, maybe even after that (endo).
- Stuck in the jungle with ferocious, man-eating bugs everywhere! (Lots of exotic options like diving bell spiders, mantises, antlions, seriously the insect kingdom has some of the most unique predators out there)

Can anyone find some good vore content out there with insect preds, or insect-like preds at the very least? I feel like there’s some untapped potential for more feral insect preds.

I have a quick, non-fatal spider unbirth story.

I know that I've done a few fatal insect vore picture stories

Mosquitos
Brain eating ants
titan beetles that could eat entire cities.

My OC, "The Lurker in Darkness" would rather breed than devour his prey (usually), but I've commissioned some great art if you want to use your imagination. Origin story is in the bottom link.

I have been dying to see some centipede vore. I probably would not even be stimulated by it, but I still want to see some.

I like insectoid preds. My faerie character Fern, while not too overtly insectile on the outside, has an insect digestive tract, with crop, chitinous gizzard, ventriculus and a single intestine in that order. Part of the fun of exotic preds is exotic digestive tracts, IMO. I've wanted to do something with a pred based on a velvet worm for a while, but haven't been able to due to limitations of art programs. Velvet worms are fascinating. Halfway between worms and arthropods, carnivorous, shoot slime at prey to trap it, mostly livebearing, in some species exhibiting surprisingly complex social behavior, and freakin' adorable on top of it. They also have a digestive tract that's mostly one chamber that serves to both break down food and absorb it.
I am open for art commissions or trades! See here for details.

Bug type Pokemon such as Scolipede and Volcarona as preds, along with GrandKuwagamon from Digimon.

I do love spider vore and have also loved the slug like preds that were in King Kong. I need to write some insect vore sometime to see if I'm any good at it.

You might like this then? Gutter Queen Ant from Dark Souls 2, with two versions.
She has a row of vents along her abdomen, just large enough for a human to crawl into.

I would not want to be eaten by this pred, but I do find her sexy, it is the only Bug Type Pokémon I am attracted to, it is Golisopod. I would probably appreciate Golisopod as a pred in works not involving me, however.

Insects?
Well, I do know some stories:
- A Cat's Kindness by nomnomvore (story with a clumsy and shy spider + external digestion): https://aryion.com/g4/view/255765

If you like Ariados from Pokemon as a pred, I just made this short story of one eating a Quilava.

While insects themselves are rare outside of typical hentai vore. Human mixed with bugs are quite popular and creatures similar to insects like spiders and worms are in the most popular category of feral pred(not on this site though as it tend to be more human or furry oriented)

Aw geez. Well spider vore is definitely a favourite but I also like worm/leech vore, mosquito sucking vore and wasp oviposition. Insect oviposition in general, actually, is pretty damn hot.

Quite a rare breed of Pred, but a welcome change of pace indeed. Is a shame it's not seen so often, the possibilities are so wide and varied as there are species of insects to list!
