Vore stories where the pred is silent after eating the prey?

I dunno, but this seems to be one element of vore that probably lends itself more to private short fantasies than it does to longer stories. It seems like it'd be harder to write a story where the pred flat-out just stops interacting with they prey after the fact. I like the idea of a pred completely cutting off any form of contact (even if she can hear them) with her prey after she is done eating them. After all - you wouldn't talk to a sandwich you had just eaten, right? Maybe if the prey starts begging and/or otherwise getting chatty, the pred would just treat it as her food giving her an upset stomach and she might take a dose or two of a digestive aid to help her digest them faster, but otherwise no direct talking whether it be mocking, telling them to be quiet, etc.

I don't see it often in stories because it doesn't make for great reading, really. However it's definitely my preference as well. When I eat someone in RP, it's very often a bit of humiliating 'you are just food' treatment. silence included.

As good as the interaction can be when done well, I quite like the idea of the pred not interacting with the prey after they eat them. It really hammers home that the prey is just food now, as they plead to be let out, as the predetermined carries on like morning's happened (obviously this is unwilling prey.)

I still like some awareness though, so could be purposely not interacting with them? That's just me though.

Based on that description alone, I can tell you’ve read some good stories. O_o Going back to the sandwich: Exactly. The difference between live prey and normal food is that they almost always interact until they... well... can’t anymore. Most preds recognize this, and make the most out of it because, again, it isn’t something a sandwich would do. So they’ll often make the most out of it! But at the same time, it’s not like the interaction is mandatory or anything. Silence doesn’t always have to be associated with some kind of coldness or heavy thoughts. I’d also like to indulge in some vore content in which the pred remains silent while the prey and digestion progress take the spotlight.
