Looking for a Pokemon story

Heya, I've been trying to find a Pokemon story that I remember reading ages ago wih Ash as prey and ekans as the pred. Ash gets into a little argument with Misty, so he goes off to prove her wrong by trying to catch a Pokemon without any of his own team (or even any pokeballs) and ends up letting an ekans swallow him because he thinks it’s some sort of taming ritual.

Honestly, I'd much prefer Misty as the prey. Especially if she were older than TEN years old! Like, at least 16. XP
