Not as obvious, but the implications are there. It also has a similar effect.

I guess this Python sticks above the rest to me because you can see the actual belly, with the bulges and all

Hungry monsters taps into a primal fear, so it's kind a staple with fantasy media with dragons and whatnot, which is what I would say for most of these examples. They knew exactly what they were doing with that first one though. Something primal, but not exactly fear, heh.
