I would have to say no... Since being a voriphile isn't about chemical make up like it is in the movie X-Men 3. Instead I would say its the effect of a state of mind on the body... We find something interesting and pleasing and our body took after that. I kinda equate it to a patient given a few weeks to live, the state of their happiness sometimes is the difference between surviving and dying. Take away their happiness and the result is always death.

And that said, take away our mental states and you wind up with people who are skilled writers but with nothing to write about. Or Artists trying to get their artwork out on an internet without an easily network medium... Face it, give a cure for us and you wind up with a site full of creative people who don't have that support group of a community that understands them... And that's a hard thing to go through during life...

I would. I like you guys and the things we're into. I like the person I've become because of all I've had to endure because of this paraphilia. That being said... If I could get rid of it now... I would. It's the last thing that alienates me from the love of my life. It alienates me from the vast majority of the dating pool. I'm in the no crowd, but for a different reason than everyone else. Vorarephilia is a symptom of the problem and not the problem itself. If I just cured vore, I could end up with worse problems than I already have. To elaborate, I think the real problem is the way the media and society in general influenced my thoughts about the opposite gender and sex at an early age. I bottled my feelings toward any girls I was attracted to because of some false concept that I would end up hurting them. That right there is the bigger problem than vorarephilia or any other fetish for that matter. Twisted ideas that make people irrational and cause the fetish in the first place are the problem, not the fetishes themselves.

no because i don't see any point in that. it's not a big deal to me, just something i like. the worst part about it is that it's weird, but so are a lot of other things. it's not my sole sexual outlet, it's not a huge important part of my life, it has nothing to do with my identity, and it's not tied to any deeper issues that need addressing... so i have no reason to do anything but enjoy it; it's not hurting anything. just gives me one more interest to explore, which in itself can benefit me in several ways.

I'd probably take temporary vore cure medication, in order to be able to enjoy stuff like Crash Bandicoot games without being blinded by my vorarephilia.
I can't sit down and just enjoy N. Sane Trilogy as a fun video game, since I can't stop thinking of all the potential deaths where Crash or Coco can get eaten.

I know this is a joke, but that's like taking a pill that has a plethora of side effects. I would rather keep my emotions and neural functions in tact. I'm sure there are ways to condition yourself into not having strong feelings for vore, but there are other priorities I have and that would be time consuming.
