How to draw vore, like, in general? Help plz

Postby Beolunedusk » Wed Jan 29, 2025 5:41 am

Specifically oral vore, I've tried and tried again and I'm really really interested in drawing Vore bellies on humanoid characters (anthros and humans) but I don't have any resources to help me. I've turned to searching up tutorials on deviantart (they were all either really bad or just weren't that helpful) and came up empty handed, since I know too little about resources for Vore artists. I would ask friends for help with drawing, but unfortunately I've always never had friends that shared the same interests as me to help me as a resource lol andtbhiftheyfoundoutiwasintovoretheyprobablywouldn'tbemyfrieeeendss..

I am decent at art I guess, and want to post Vore art here and on my main art website that I use. I just don't know where to even start with drawing a lot of aspects of Vore like the prey being swallowed, big bellies, mawshots and all that. I wish I could be independent but unfortunately I do need a bit of guidance and resources when it comes to drawing Vore

A friend of mine once told me a good way to get better at drawing vore, or just an idea when you're out of ideas, is to just to pick a random pose and draw a lumpy belly on it.

My suggestion is to not overthink it, try finding artists you like the art and trying to try to do like they do.

For where to start, my suggestion is starting small: mawshots, prey inside stomach, big bellies are pretty simple and direct.
Mawshots is literally just a character's face toward the viewer with the maw agape and you can see enough down their throat. While the other two are simply a character posing.

You can work small ideas for scenes too, those always help me when I do art.

There's this tutorial by Humbug (also really good vore artist, so totally recommend checking):

So funny enough there is a "tutorial" tag in the gallery that you can search. There are a few interesting uploads by some great artists that show you how they construct their vore bellies. But aside from that I'd suggest trying to pinpoint what you want to draw. Vore is a fantasy kink with a lot of wiggle room. So it would be good to take a step back and figure out what kinda styles you like and what you don't care for. Good Luck!

im nowhere near that great myself,
but this is how i normally think of it

1. draw a torso. make sure you know where the hips and ribs are.
2. draw a curve starting from the bottom of the ribs. add a little bump on the hips since there's normally a lil bit of fat there.
3. (optional) struggle bumps. use general bumps if looser, basically draw the outline of the prey(s) outright if the belly is a lil tighter

I won't claim to be a world-class artist or anything, but what I do is to sketch or sometimes even draw and ink the prey's entire body. Then I will use the prey's shape as a guide to draw a belly/throat/mouth around them. You can make the belly look tighter by kind of contouring it closer to the prey's shape, or make it bulgier/looser by drawing more abstract rounded lines that only vaguely follow the prey's shape.

I think this works pretty well at least in digital art - you can draw the prey on a separate layer, and then if you need to you can rotate/resize the prey to get them into a good position relative to the pred. After drawing the belly, you can make the prey layer semi-transparent and use it as a guide to make bulge line and contours - for instance, draw an outward bulge by roughly tracing where a hand or foot is sticking out, or making a face imprint by by doing a loose tracing of parts of the prey's face/hands.

As for specifically drawing bulges and contours... it just kind of takes practice I think, but I'd study artists who draw them in a way you like and pay special attention to how they draw their bulge lines and how they shade. I'll admit that when I draw bulges, I tend to redo stuff over and over... like I'll draw little swooshy lines or a darkened line intersection to indicate depth/bulge, and then undo and redo it 20 times to play with the exact thickness and angle. No wonder it takes me so long to draw anything...

I know a lot of people like the hyper distorted bellies, but perhaps drawing pregnant women is a good baseline?
