How much of a vore/fetish artist are you?

Postby lemonayed » Fri Apr 11, 2025 6:19 pm

To specify, do you draw vore 100%, or are you half NSFW, half SFW?

What is vore to you? Do you do it professionally? Is it some sort of release? Both? Or something else entirely?

I'm actually sort of half NSFW, half SFW. Probably.

I've been here for a month as of now (yay! :D), and it's still really surreal for me to have this kind of double life. For the record, I'm not a professional artist or writer, even for SFW stuff. I use vore as an escape from the uprising of purity culture in major social media sites. I write more about it here. After making this account a month ago, I felt like walking on a tightrope, but at the same time, I've embraced the danger. I've been more productive in drawing than I had been years ago, and I've built a bit of confidence in myself, embracing my best and my worst.

This is such a question, there is so much I could get into right now.

However I am currently falling asleep, maybe will edit this later.

In short: I would not be doing this if I didn't inherently enjoy it a whole bunch, but getting paid for it is nice.
I am usually available for writing commissions concearning most strange ideas your mind can conjure up.
Yes, even that.

Full NSFW, hobbyist.

I see vore as my favourite means for pleasure and I like to see the ways porn and plot (or kink and plot) can combine. It's not a key part of my identity, though I've spent a significant chunk of my time with vore fans. I've started uploading stories to this site almost two years back and before that I would browse and roleplay across the internet.

I get your blog post. Your decision to get away from Twitter was most likely for the best. I used to do more SFW stuff, dealing with fantasy worldbuilding and creative writing (also as a hobby) but it got too toxic and too crowded. There's also the issue of fandom politics which are fun for a time but eventually become as suffocating as office politics. They are hard to escape no matter where you go, both in professional and hobbyist contexts.

Idk I just do what I want to do at the moment. I write nsfw vore stuff because I have plot ideas but if I dry up on inspiration then I'll simply stop posting. If I have any plot ideas for sfw stuff, I'll write it (though I won't post it on this site).

Also good for you to have abandonned social media. Modern social media is a hellhole of misinformation and botting, where echo chambers and sensationalism are favoritized to drive up engagement and keep you scrolling on your phone. Though they have their merits, social media have a mostly negative impact on your mental health.
If you want to talk about anything, feel free to pm, I'll be glad to respond.

I'm in a similar boat as Trajan is. Whenever an idea strikes me, I try and make it, write or draw, whatever. Some things end up finished, some don't... most don't. Often times I begin writing something with vore in mind but end up liking the setting/narrative enough to turn it into a SFW story instead lol

"This was meant as a porn/fetish story but it turned out mostly SFW" is such an obscure niche, I can't help but bow down to it when it pops up. I actually did an RP that played out more or less like that once, which was just D&D adventuring with a vore scene at the end as payoff, but whether I'll ever turn it into a story (knowing it doesn't have the greatest appeal) remains to be seen.

I also don't link any of my SFW stuff here, either, since I've got some (sometime dark) fanart and original worldbuilding stuff completely separate from my fetish work. Writing vore is also a spur of the moment thing for me, and I'll post if I want to. Same with my SFW works.

You're absolutely right about social media having a negative impact on mental health, that is if you stay on it for too long. I've gotten used to staying away from it for long periods of time and it really helped!

I've stared to spent more time with the vore community, as well, even though I'm not a full NSFW artist. I've even distanced myself from SFW communities and fandoms because of what you said. Now with more people online, the easier it is to breed toxicity to the point you'll be driven out. Twitter (and Tiktok, which I'll never have) is especially a horrible case for this, for everyone.

OTHER: I write vore stories under this username in addition to romance, sci-fi, and contemporary fiction under a pen name and my everyday life preferred name. I've self-published the romance and sci-fi on Kindle and in print. Whilst I'm not a professional, I wouldn't simply class it as a hobby.

I feel that all my writing, across all genres, is quite similar. Vore in my mind is no difference to any other topic I may be interested in making stories about. They all are driven by the characters and are supposed to be as believable as possible. The only difference really is I don't talk about it outside dedicated internet forums. Only one IRL friend knows I like vore.

None of my work contains sex. It's a personal thing. I don't enjoy reading or writing it.

I've taken commissions for both vore and non-vore here and there, but I'm not a professional by any means. I mostly just make stuff for fun whenever I have the time, energy, and motivation to do so. These things vary a lot, so I go through periods where it'll be mostly vore or nsfw and periods where it's more sfw or non-vore, just depending on my mood and inspiration.

Recently, though, I'd say it's been mostly vore. ^^;

Same here. There are times when my motivation for vore and fetish stuff is dying and I just want to make non-vore stuff instead. Vore is more like an outlet than something that I get into on a near daily basis.
