Creative Commons Ekas posts

Hello! A friend of mine recently discovered that certain posts on Ekas contain licensing information and specific licenses that the artist/author has given out. Said friend also wishes to know if there's any posts on Ekas that have been made and given the creative commons license (this is for a private project they're working on.)

Probably easiest to just run gallery or forum searches for the specific CC code you're looking for (CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC BY-ND, CC BY-NC, CC BY-NC-SA, or CC BY-NC-ND).

There is actually an option to select a license when submitting new content to the gallery. I am not sure where/how it would show up though, since I always select None.

All my works (unless I'm forgetting something) are released under CC BY-NC-SA.
It means that anyone can replicate and repost my stories as long as they credit me as the original author and don't change the license. The non-comercial clause also prevents other people from selling my work (I mean, it's right there on the website for free, so I don't see how anyone would even do that.)

This is something that any author of a work of art (image, writing etc.) has the right to choose. There are no costs associated with publishing your work under a license and it could help with legal proceedings if someone happens to abuse your work. You'd still have to take action to enforce it, however. For our niche I see it more as a way to inform the viewer or a potential reposter on what they can and can't do.

We don't have a feature to search/filter by licence yet. I can add it, though. I personally don't see the harm.
