I've done it before, but it's not really a hobby of mine.

Just a few things. I did a marble once and umm, well actually I believe I walked about it in this thread before. It's probably buried under a wall if text, but I'm sure you can find it.

Long story short, you ate a marble... it kinda hurt coming out and you saved it once you found it in the toilet

Well after reading through this thread and learning about the marble incident I must say Crystal, it sounds like you have a very interesting digestive track.

I like how the intestine is long and wiggly and can stretch many football fields (read that from a human atanomy book) :D The human body is so amazing :wink:

well on average the human small intestine isn’t that long, the duodenum is around 8-9 inches long, the jejunum is around 3-6 ft long, and the ileum is 6-12 feet long, on average the human small intestine is around 20 ft long, and the large intestine is only about 4 ft long, it’s a common misconception that the intestines are hundreds of ft long… >.> ….just saying…….sorry, biologist can be real buzz kills I know lol ^^;

The football field tidbit is the amount of surface area created by the villi in the small intestine, not the actual length. So, correct fact, just a wrong interpretation. :)

I am hardly ever on myspace anymore. Since they've tried so hard to copy Facebook, they've destroyed the site
