He is a hobgoblin, as far as I know, and you have no idea how many times I have caught myself using bugbear as a synonym for hobgoblin before finally slipping up this last time. I have no idea why they stick together in my head, as they are quite different, but they just do.

Hello all! I'm the new player. I've been around ETA/Eka's Portal for a while, so some of you might recognize me.

I will be playing a custom race Druid. The race can be found here:

So, she is a Razor Angler; they're an amphibious race of fish monsters that eat people and then project images of their victims to lure more prey. Her class is Druid, specifically a Kraken Caller Druid who worships the Great Old Ones, particularly the Water Lizard (who is a rather Voracious deity), the traditional deity of her species.

I'm curious as well. A deep mermaid and a razor angler wouldn't interact much in nature, I would think - they live in slightly different ecosystems, and both are ambush hunters would wouldn't likely fall for the other's lure.

Lol i was sure he was never described as a bugbear. So all good. Thought i was going crazy.

I will say, this thread, along with the IC thread has gone for so long. I'm actually astonished and wish I could be in the party, just wanted to say that I love the world that you managed to create, even if it mostly creates opportunities for us to fetish-ize it. If you possibly ever need a new party member, I would definitely be glad to join a game like this! It definitely would be different than my usual 5e or pathfinder campaign. All I had to say in a more simplified expressed sentence, was that this is an amazing thread, and I can't wait to see the stories unfold.

Apologies if this post is rather weird to send, but honestly it looked so interesting that I couldn't help myself, even if I knew it was closed. Apologies if this was a form of forced entry of sorts. Have a good day!
