Cecilia in the mean time was already before the Queen. Scheduled to be knighted today she waited patiently on a knee for the Queen to carry out this duty. She did see Jules when she came in and she didn't think much of him. She also noticed an ambassador and her escort had arrived though they were stuck at the gate. They must be here observe or for political reasons she had thought. ((If you need to see my first post I can throw that in here))

(Keep in mind, Zaleila is stuck on the gate leading to the front lawn of the castle, shes not even at the front door yet, so unless one of the nobles or knights does something about it, shes gonna be stuck there for the entire ceremony because of the racist guardsman. *He lost a friend to a Krakajin so hes got that driving him.*)

Jules took a look at the Queen.
She was having this impatient look on her face, or maybe it was Jules imagening things. There was something in the way she looked at him that made his back chill.
He needed a break from her stare.
"M'Queen, allow me to check what is taking the ambassador so long."

He quickly moved towards the front door, asked the guards there were the ambassador was, they hadn't seen her.
"But she should have been here by now."
"Well she ain't."

He began moving even faster, his legs going from a walk to a jog.
At the gate he could see that the ambassador was being held up. (It wasn't particularly hard to find her considering her size.)
"What are you doing? Let the ambassador through. Don't let the Queen wait!" He said the words to the guard a bit louder than he had wanted to, but subtlety wasn't his thing.

[Reaction]: *Zaleila attempted to cross the thresh-hold but yet again she was stopped, by her expression she wasn't going anywhere until she got through that gate, but again she did not speak*,

"I'm sorry m'lord, I just can'not allow myself to let our magnificent queen speak with this monstrosity, I know first hand what they are capable of, we of the guard are united in this idea." *The guardsman was steadfast in this...but Razi wore her anger on her face*

"This is an outra-", *the warrior began but again Zaleila silenced her knight with a snap of her jaws, this time with a low hiss for emphasis before retaking her position on her haunches.*


(You see, because Zaleila is more primal in appearance than a normal Krakajin, it makes it even easier for people to identify her as a monster even without some conflicting backstory driving them. Initially the other guardsmen were against this but after seeing Zaleilas strange form they felt threatened and insulted, thus they feel letting her pass would be an insult to their queen.)

Jules wanted to say something, but as he looked up what the ambassador actually was he ended up pausing a bit. The ambassador didn't seem to mind much, her knight escort scowled at him and the servants seemed all to take a breather at the stairs from carrying all her luggage.

"Please excuse us for a moment." He spoke to the ambassador while taking the captain aside.

Jules put his hand to his face, the index finger and the thumb on the bridge of the nose. He was thinking hard.
"What do you suggest we do then Captain? I rather not go back and tell the Queen we're being bad hosts and keeping the ambassador waiting. It.Would.Not.Be.Wise." He weighted his last sentence carefully. He knew that the Queen had her own way of knowing what was said and done by her knights and soldiers, he'd seen a few get demoted.

"What do you think will trouble the Queen more? That she is seeing an ambassador that is different, or us causing a diplomatic incident? If you worry about the Queens safety, I ensure you that the score of knights within the castle will protect her if anything should occur."

*The guardsman did seem unnerved by these words but still he held fast*, "I just can't in good faith trust this...this-"

"Monster?", *Zaleila finished now speaking up with a pause between her statement*, "A monster does n-"

"Silence you fat freak!", *The guardsmen had lost his patience and his voice rose in anger*, "Our queen is too pure, too splended for her sight to be sullied by your disgusting form...your masters insult us by sending a beast into our lands in place of a-"

"I have heard enough", *Zaleila began to march this time moving right past the spears letting them slice into her body, the cuts only being skin deep. She had had enough of this rabble. And the guardsmen all gathered and formed up in a line spears held at the ready to impale her.*

"Stand strong brothers and sisters! This beast seeks to harm our queen!", *Zaleila marched, slow and steady her voice calm, but potent*.

"Strength? I see none of that here...I see cowardice, a cowardice that would spark a war in which your children and grandchildren would pay in blood for", *the bloated Krakajin made no sign of stopping*, "I am walking through this garden and into that castle...if you slay me before then, you will be remembered as dung sulying the court of your master", *Zaleila marched right into their spears...but all of them caved, their spears never went deep as she walked right through them all, they tried to hold her back but she was too heavy to stop, one lass she actually had to step over, Razi remained right behind Zaleila, hopping over the toppled woman and trotting beside her, she had allready drawn her halberd and held it defensively, when Zaleila caught her with the weapon drawn she commanded her to put it away*, "We are to arrive in this court to bear witness to a knighting, as a form of aknowledgement to Queen Francesca's rule, I will not be the one to bring a weapon into sacred peace grounds...I may be a monster Razi, but I am also a Duches of house Crus'velt...try to start another incident and I will report you to Hive-queen Lunaria, and you will be replaced...I don't have to remind you what I do with the people who undermine me...this belly isn't just for show", *she slapped her huge stomach while glairing at Razi before continuing onwards, the cuts in her neck bleeding into the fine golden hair that covered her neck fortunately they would coagulate all on their own, but Zeleila licked her claw and rubbed a little of her honey into the wounds to speed up the process, and mixed a little into her mane to help get that crimson stain out...it was still visible but less noticeable thus more tolerable*.

*Needless to say, by the time she reached the throne room, she was once again presentable and court ready as the anouncer finally called out*, "Now entering Dutchess Zaleila Crus'velt of Haldengrove, and Lady Razi Van'Clyde", *with many of the nobles ghasping under their breath, she was a very abnormal sight after all, many would be surprised such a beast could be presented as a dutches...even a whisper of "I thought that thing was part of the entertainment", *which actually made Zaleila want to smile, it was better to be a clown, or a pet than a monster...the reactions were generally better than she'd hoped for. With that she extended her left leg and bowed low before Queen Francesca, Razi doing the same behind the foreign dutchess, she spoke not a word as she had studied the customs of Francescas kingdom, it was considered polite to give another the first and last word.*

"So much for resolving this without incident..." Jules mumbled to himself before walking back to the court, following in the footsteps of the Krakajin, at a safe distance of course.

Backstory: The Morgan were once a respected family that feel on a series of hard times. Business venture that never took off, loses of existing business to other families.

By the times lilith was 5 her family was ruined in debt, she and her were destined to be means to cover the remaining debt. Her mother was digested in front of her when it came to her turn though eh e was purchased by Leah mother.

Lilith was to be Leah meal a treat from her mother on her birthday. Leah instead befriended her with this turn of event lilith was trained to be Leah personal maid.

When lilith was 10 she found that she had fallen in love with Leah this turned to fear of what if a bandit attacked, or a assassin, a noble etc. With these fear she begged to become a knight.

She trained for years performing deeds and tasks ranging from helping travellers, hunting bandits and fighting in the small skermishes. She became know as her skill at killing dozens of enemies.

When lilith was finally knighted she was over joyed to be able to clearly declare her devotion to Leah and protect her to all others this seem like a debt being repaid not love.

She now serves as Leah head maid, knight, personal fitness trainer, sparing trainer, bodyguard and personal assistant.

Lilith loves disposing of those that are rude, bothering or simply not performing well enough for Leah. More so she love unbirthing or breast vore because once digested Leah always taste the result which senescence chills through her every time.

Leah was bored she was wondering town aimlessly as she had already dealt with the weekly family business report incidents and the like. She has to give two nobile families warning that their debt are due soon. If they did pay up it was fine for her she dine on a finer food.

Leah was looking forward to the ball the queen was hosting tomorrow but that was tomorrow. There was a knighting that wouldn't have already taken place perhaps she should see what she is like.

Or there is that foreign duchess that arriving in the city today. Seem undecided on what she was going to do she wonder in the direction of the castle she had nothing better to do also it might be fun.

Francesca would sigh as her aid gave her, her next appointment, knighting someone called Cecilia, taking up her sword and giving it a few test swings, her sword mastery was nothing to scoff at, twirling the blade like it was a stick, before placing it gently at the right shoulder of Cecilia "I Queen Francesca, give thee Cecilia, knighthood to protect, serve and give your life for my every whim" moving the sword from one shoulder to then next, she would then balance the edge on top of Cecilia's head, I deem thee Knight Cecilia" She would then walk back to her throne as she waved to her aid, who wielded a fine edged blade "My gift to you, use it for this kingdom, but always hold dear in your heart, not what you protect, but what your sword protects, as you are my sword, as are the many others" Leaving Cecilia to move away, not long would pass before she would be disturbed suddenly by a newcomer.

Francesca's aid would yell out suddenly, sweating scared as he tried to keep pace "Now entering Dutchess Zaleila Crus'velt of Haldengrove, and Lady Razi Van'Clyde" watching them both kneel before her, Francesca would stand once more and bow slightly out of courtesy "I greet the Duchess and Lady and welcome you both to my humble kingdom, I hope you enjoy your stay, the festivities shall be something to enjoy, your presence here make its ever so more pleasing" Taking rest on her throne once more, she would sit not as a bored woman, crossed legged and hand by face, but back straight, feet both firmly on the ground and face forward, staring out towards her quests, giving a queenly aura about herself, her sword rested neatly by her side, one that belonged to her father, damaged but reforged, now stronger and sharper than ever before, only now to be used to knight and bless people.

Cecilia rising once the ceremony was complete taking her new blade in hand "My Life your you and the land she says moving off to side joining the other knights. She could be reassigned at any point to one of the court nobles should the Queen decide to do so. For now she she in direct service of the Queen as a knight of the court. When the ambassador and her escort arrived she watched them, keeping her eyes on them ready to step in at a moments notice should she need too.

*Cecilia's glare was predictable, the queens benevolence was however, quite surprising. She had never met her own queen Lunaria, if she had, she would have experienced the perfection and grace of a benevolent master. But there is no time for 'what-ifs', Zaleila would not yet lower her guard but responded politely rising from her deep bow, the fragrances of Haldengrove Wildflowers wafting from her golden mane, and the decadent, rich smell of honey dense on her breath...she was after all bloated with the golden substance.*

"I have heard the rumors of your bewildering apatites, your splendid knights, and grand cities...but not have I heard -- of the kindness of Queen Francesca, nor of her charm to even one such as I", *Zaleila gave a second courtesy bow, smaller with no extended leg, this bow was to show gratitude not submission.* "With such a warm welcome, I believe I might settle in more swiftly than I had hoped for."

*Razi however was nervous, after she knelt she stayed on her knee. She had fought kingdom knights before, they were leagues different from guardsmen, they fought more like Krakajin, capitolizing on their heavy armor...and she was one little warrior...when she thought of the terror of facing down the queens army, she began to shake, as golden sweat dripped from her mandibles...yet Zaleila was so calm...Razi was definately green to the life of a courtier*

Leah arrived at the Castle she smiled seeing who was standing there patiently waiting. "Lilith you know me so well" Lilith tilted her head in acknowledgement of her master. Before approaching closer to ensure their next word where private.

As she approached Leah looked over her companion she was in her warrior maid attire that had armour that protected her but allowed more freedom of movement

"mistress, I knew you would come here to see the ambassador. Though please do not leave without me by your side again. " both Leah and Lilith knew she was overstepping her position but she let it slide as it not in front of others.

" very well I shall take you with me from this point forward." Leah tone was casual she knew it safer to travel with Lilith but sometimes she like be spontaneous in how ah e acts.

"unfortunately the ambassador has arrived she currently being greated by the Queen. " Lilith spoke in a flat tone she was still annoyed with Leah action.

" hmm the ambassador punctual that a nice change. Well we don't want to interrupt the greeting that would a poor first impression to make. " Leah looked for the nearest gaurd.

See a bulk man in the kingdom armour standing a few paces away." gaurd, please escorts us to one if the side entrance. " the man looked a little taken back by the request, Leah could practically see the gear turning for his response she would like it.

" Look here I do not wish to walk in and disrupt the greeting of the ambassador. It would embarrass the Queen and the kingdom to be so rude. Now take us to the side entrence now or do you prefer me to add you to a menu of one of my restaurants? " Leah tone was blunt and commanding she didn't need to raise her voice. The gaurd weakly nod he knew better then to disobey her.

Leah and Lilith was lead round the castle to the servant entrance. From there they were taken through the corridor to a area on the first floor that over looked the throne room. Leah gave the man a few coin for his trouble ah e always rewarded those that helped or obeyed.

Leah now had a good view on thing from up here she could she the Queen siting she always gave of that commanding sort of presence that caused other to stop and look. She was glade the Queen had fallen to the back stabbing of politics and deals it would be so boring if she did. Leah could she a few unfamiliar faces about the room a woman in armour she assumes must be the knight.

Leah eye then drifted to the centre where she could see the ambassador even from her she could tell she was big. Leah heart beats with excitement something new and exciting.

Her mind raced with questions what is she like, what she into, what her tastes. Leah wanted to know everything about them.

"Lilith have you ever encountered them before. " Leah whispered. "a few mistress they live to the south they are a different kind of people to us. Though the ambassador the largest I have seen. " Leah decide she stick around she would like to see what happen next.

Cecilia had spent most of Tim fighting in the North but she does know of the ambassadors people. She did also spot Leah and her escort make their entry on the side opposite of her. For now Cecilia stood watch as she had been, she is not skilled in politics.

Francesca would smile at the comments from her newest guest "I thank thee for your kind words and shall have a knight take you and your companion to your rooms, so you may rest, ready for the up and coming celebrations, I do hope our beds and room will be to your liking, as far as I recall, we have not had much in friendship with your kind, war has taken both sides, though I hope our dealing will fix that and we can become good friends for our futures"

A male knight would come from down the hall as requested and would stand ready to lead her guests to their resting places "here is the knight who will escort you to your place of rest, please follow him and ask him of anything but being food and doing favors, but he shall requests items for you both should you ask for them." The knight would bow as he turned ready to head towards the rooms in question.

Jules was a bit out of breath from the running back and forth to the front gate, but he hid it well.

He realized that it was the ambassador he had attempted to help get in earlier.
"As my Queen said earlier, if there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask."

The ambassador was an unusual guest, but she was still the guest of the Queen. Jules had been lucky enough as to not lose family to the fighting, so he more neutral in his face expression than the guards to the gate.

*Zaleila was thrilled at how the court recieved her, but she knew exactly what she wanted*, "In that case, I could use a proper bath, the journey here has left me in dire need of a good washing...I'm rather hungry as well though I would have only a little to eat, I'm saving room for one of your famous parties. I believe a plate of appatizers would sate this belly until then", *Zaleila gave a unique tripple bow to queen Francesca and the court to either side, this bow was a parting bow from Haldengrove, and had the one preforming the gesture hold their hands just below their throat and just above their belly as they did so. It was set that way to remind the user of whomever was feeding them and to control their voice for those special people. For in Haldengrove it was believed that hunger comes from the throat as much as the stomach.*

*Zaleila was taken to a room of class, wrapped in fine silk and needlework. The overal theme was varying shades of green with pink and yellow embroidery, layered in a white patterns of flowers Zaleila had only seen in books*, "Hmm, I've never felt silk like this...its certainly smooth...though I fear the spinner silk from back home is of a higher quality, yet another quality item to be negotiated in the trade discussions."

I'm going to assume they have primitive plumbing technology (think Hayao Miyazaki's spirited away with Komaji the boiler man. A servant or several in this case, tends to a boiler, so that hot water is readily available all day long.

*Soon Zaleila was lead to a bathing room, where a servant awaited to tend to her needs. Her mandibles clicked at first but as the servant boy worked a sweet berry shampoo into her mane she loosed a soft "OOooh" and just melted into the warm bathwater*, "How did you ready a bath so quickly? Was it prepared in preperation for my arrival? Such consideration for a foreign guest, I will speak well of your hospitality in my report", *The servant boy said little on the matter, he was afraid that Zaleila would eat him should he speak out of line, not because she was monstrous but because it was commonplace in Francescas court, especially among the Duchy.*

Note: Duchy is the term used to describe the Territory of a Duke or Duchess, just as a kingdom to a King/Queen. In this context it refers to the class of Dukes and Duchess' within Francescas' kingdom.

*As she bathed several visitors from the court passed by out of curiosity some stopping for a bit of conversation usually inquiring as to her habbits or her outlook, some would make fat jokes and she'd reply with the wit of a jester with comments of approval towards her own weight*, "If I were skinny I'd be far more intimidating, I prefer charm over brute strength, after all, what need I for swift strides when surrounded by swift swordsmen?"

*Soon Zaleila was clean and refreshed, and ready to re-enter the courtroom, now dressed in a fine grey dress top of spinner silk, the sheen of the dress was marvelous, the varying shades of gray forcing the golden color of her body to become even more present, and her fine freshly groomed hair glistening from tip to tail, those bold black stripes showing a particularely superb luster. She bowed as she re-entered the court and immediately began to mingle with other courtiers.*

With the ambassador off to her room Leah would have to wait till the ball to get to know her till then she would have to find something to occupy her the time. Her gaze fell upon the new knight. Leah smiled the knight was new she could be fun to play with if she was willing.

Leah carefully made her way over to the knight to ensure she didn't interrupt any of the Queens possible announcement if she had any left. Once she reached the knight Leah did a slight bow to her something any other duchess would be shocked at. But Leah liked breaking the mold of expectations it kept everyone on there toes.

"Hello there you must be the new knight, I am Leah matriarch of house Harridan. Beside me is my companion Lilith Morgan my bodygaurd and friend. Had I known the new knight would look like you I would have ensured I would have been present for your ceremony. I feel robbed of the opportunity to see it a pity I would have loved to have seen the pride and in all likelihood smile that such a rare beauty like yourself would have shown. "

Leah gave the knight a thorough going over she made no attempt to hide she liked what she saw. "I will be straight with you something I hope sit well with you. I like very much like what I see and what I have heard about you valour and furosity in battle. I would very much like to get to know you. " Leah began to walk around her in a circle giving her more of a look.

" I would like to know you hobbies, likes and dislikes, to hear tales of your valour, the reason why you joined to become a knight and finally your aspersions for the future? " Leah had made a complete circle. " but before you answer the other questions, I would like to offer you a position as knight of my family house. Please do not think I am replacing Lilith I will feel far saver with both as my bodyguard."

Lilth step stepped forward her expression change from emotionless to a appreciated one. "I would be greatful your skills will ensure Mistress Leah is well protected." Lilith bowed

"You can ask of any reward that within my power to grant. But please do not feel that you will offend by rejecting my offer I ask you before going to the Queen as I will never subject anyone to serve me against their will."

"the choice is yours dear knight what will it be?" Leah hope she accepted she, Lilith and the knight would have so much fun together.

Leah noticed the ambassador had just entered the room and begun mingling with the rest of the court. After she finished speaking to the knight she would speak with her and indulge her curiosity of the kingdom new friends.

Cecilia returned the now afforded by Leah. She did admit her surprise that a Duchess would give her a bow. It did make a good impression with Cecilia as did Leah being straight forward with her words and actions. However she didn't fully understand why Leah was looking her over the way that she was. She put that in the back of her mind for now and answered her questions. " I grew up an orphan my lady, I became a soldier because there is no future for an urchin. Never once did I think I would become a knight, the way I see it I was just doing my duty, that being to fight and win. My aspirations are simple: to protect this land and it's people, with my very life if need be" Hearing the Duchess make the offer she was pleasantly surprised " if you would have me, I would be honored my lady, I see clearly your strength in first impressions"

"Hm Hm Hmm...so many intrigues, so little time to view them all, good luck with your collection Ser Terald", *Zaleila was just finishing up a conversation with one Ser Terald, a knight decorated in green and blue who had a fascination with ancient currencies, He wore a strange medalion around his neck with funny characters etched into its rim. As the tubby bumble-drake turned, she caught the Conversation between Cecilia and Leah midway through*, "I see this one is eager to secure the bakeries newest loaf, You must enjoy particularely fine morsels in your breakfast hour."

*Zaleila curtsied for Duchess Leah and then addressed Cecilia*, "Your dedication to your people is admirable, we would all do well to partake of such noble ideals", *Zaleila did not bow to Lady Cecilia, but she did speak well of her after hearing her story*, "In Haldengrove, our knights answer only to two people, our queen and our high general, it seems I should be on the lookout for underlings myself", *with this the ambasadors belly gave out a rumble*, "oh balderdash, you just ate...hush you", *Zaleila gave her bloated stomach a firm whack making it bounce and jiggle about.*
