searching for DM's and players for potential games

hello everyone this is killjoy here XD. I have been around the site for a while now and have been looking for a tabletop like game to play for a while now revolving around vore. the few I managed to join couldn't take off the ground due to busy schedules and such which were understandable. so I leave this post up now in hopes of finding others who would be willing to play a game who aren't busy for a month or two so we can all have some fun.

currently there is about two players guaranteed as of right now but we are still looking for a experienced dm. or if no dm shows soon I will probably make a custom ruleset though it would take a while.

It's a maybe for me, if there is a spot open. I don't think I could DM, just because I don't think I could spin a good story just yet. I have been playing tabletop RPGs for almost 8 years now, but being the dm was never something I was good at.

I know how you feel XD and I cant guarantee it will be good if I am forced to dm but ill at least give it my best shot, also thank you for responding to the post that makes three people now including myself. but I don't know what I would make the limit as its still early in the posting.

Well we don't necessarily need to do an original story, we could take a premade adventure path or whatever they call them in other editions (I mostly only do Pathfinder) and then just add in the vore rules that are floating about. Kingmaker is a pretty open world one for Pathfinder, since you're exploring uncharted territory.

well like I said before in the pm if I have to dm the game I will more likely make custom rules to make them simple to follow so you can focus more on the story. If you guys wish to settle on a theme now it will make it easier for if I do dm the game such as a sci fi or fantasy.

Eh, I never found rules to get in the way of story, personally, not even in rules-heavy stuff like Shadowrun (I tend to prefer more complex rules, honestly). All it takes is a bit of prep between sessions to get to know the mechanics of your character.

well...making the rules simpler also helps me out of o dm since I'm not that great at remembering them XD but ill see what I can do if I'm the one to dm but how long should we wait before having a deadline?

What version will we be playing? The main ones I have done are pathfinder and 5e.

well since the question of who will dm the game is up in the air still that's a unknown but if I have to dm I will more then likely use neither and create a custom ruleset and explain as we go if that's alright with you guys?

If we don't do something custom, I vastly prefer Pathfinder over 5e. As for a custom thing, I think you'd be best starting off with something that already exists but is simple and easy to use. Dungeon World would be a good option.

there is always room for more people XD and you make the fourth in the group. now if only we could find a decent dm, otherwise ill have to dm and I'm not a good one but ill give it a fair shot.

then that makes five people now it becomes a question of how many people is the limit and how long to wait for a dm.

Here is the Dungeon World playbook. As for the limit, 6 would probably be best (5 players and GM). Typical party size for most D&D-like games are 4-6, though 6 is kind of reaching the limit where people aren't stepping on each other's toes.

Edit: Also I guess I'd be up for GMing Kingmaker if I have a GM PC. I'd rather not, but I'd rather GM Pathfinder than play Dungeon World or some completely homebrewed thing. I've got a character who makes for a pretty good one.

well I guess we will close player entries after the next one then and keep it open in case a more experienced dm shows up, also ill look over the pdf but we should also discuss what kine of setting we chose as the world.

Well I'd be up for GMing Pathfinder unless someone else here wants to. If I do it though, I'd like to keep the group at its current size.

well our options are to wait a few days to see if a dm joins or one of us dm's for the group which is either you leirynot or I so we can either vote on it or chose now since I'm fine with any option.
