So, now that things are getting started combat-wise, I have a couple questions before the fight proper.

1. On what side of the arena are we? Where are the enemies currently, in terms of grid space?
2. Should we be rolling for initiative right away, or are we posting about our current whereabouts and reaction to the crowd first?

Nilia would literally become so mad and full of disdain once she saw the enemy 'cavalry', that she would attempt to throw the spear she was currently affixing to the ground over at them! As a player, I am not mad at all, this is fantastic, but I wondered what kind of roll something like this would be? A javelin has a range increment of 30 feet, so a shortspear, or two handed spear would maybe be 20 feet? And with the enemy roughly 80 feet away, this would be an attack with a -6 penalty as a full round action, right? I am not planning on posting in the immediate future, and will soon be asleep, so I just wanted to get this out so I would a verdict in 14-16 hours or so!

I count approximately 90ft distance. Spear is 20ft range, -2 per 20ft and maximum 100ft throw. Presuming you're no less than 80-90ft, it would be a -6 atk, yes.

Party enters from the bottom two squares, J25 and K25. each square represents 5ft.

I would expect you guys to move no further than 5-10ft from this. You can roll initiative, sure. But I don't expect fighting to begin immediately. If you guys all don't wanna rp much in terms of reactions etc, sure. We can get into it quicker.

Though our fawn has been running about so maybe she's a little further out.

Rolled a natural 19 (although I messed up the modifier, it was only supposed to be +4, not a +5. My bad.) So a grand total of 23.

Everyone should feel free to toss in as many RP posts you want, even though Nilia threw the first spear, as it were. With the reveal of their enemy, it was the only action that would fit her character

Also, though it's understandably hard to find a fighter naga that fits, I did find a face that fit rather well, so here is my token!

Just as an addendum, I realized that I hadn't taken the level 1 VSRD feat (as Dextrous Maw came from the racial bonus feat thing) so I picked up Dirty Tactics.

In advance of my IC post:

J for Jon on map, D for Dragon. Until someone makes them a token. Also note i didn't quite put you where you wanted, it's intentional.

C is the guy on the horse. B and A are basically the same, just two groups for initiative.

I won't be updating this constantly, because it's a pain in the butt. But within reason.

Edit: Group A rolled 12, Group B rolled 11, C rolled 14. Rolled 1d8 to see who the spear landed near, B7 is the winner (sorry, no unaimed-hit-surprise-round-while-everyone-is-combat-ready)

Initiative will be: Kay, Adriaan, C, Brelia, A, B, Irice, Nilla.

oldschool habit, since large (long) figures are 2x1. I can swap her to 2x2 next update, if you prefer that.

Will also update with the dragons image when i do the next update.

Init order, please keep to this order during combat for posts from now on, so it's easier to keep track. Also roll damage along with to-hit, so we can speed up combat a little without me needing to ask for damage.

Kay, Lensea, Adriaan, C, Brelia, A, B, Irice, Nilla, Jon. (which means Brelia's spell doesn't go off until after C's action.)

Btw, Bless and the Singing are both giving Morale-type bonuses and those don't stack. Skald's ability buffs strength, and Bless buffs attack, so those can coexist; however, people who take Kay's song and get blessed only get +1 to will saves, not +2, because you can't stack those two buffs atop each other.
