Welcome back ... Don't forget Jermayan, one the most important things in a role play is to have fun, especially ours, and you are fun to role play with.

Re: The Hatching Discussion
Welp, I'm about completely out of steam (pun intended) for the current scene. It feels like it's been dragging on for a long time, which it probably has given that RL took hold of all of us at some point.
I've no idea at the moment about where to go and what to do next, but maybe we could discuss it together and do a bit of a time jump or something?

Re: The Hatching Discussion
Yeah! I've been feeling it too. Its been a real rough few months. However, the excitement of seeing our RP continue has really made me smile! Thank you so much for wanting to continue!
I'd be happy to move things along myself!
Lets have an adventure!!!
There's a few unanswered questions we could always dive into!
Whats the story with this island and why did the otters ferry us here?
Why is this place so important to them and the Nagas? Could this be where the tail mouth Nagas came from?
What creatures live in the mountains?
How did this town and the seemingly powerful people running it know about the Nagas and their transformative abilities to such detail?
And of course why was this whole sea fairing town so eager to jump into our bellies?
So far there's at least one motherly otter still remaining, and at least a few other people who were preparing a camp. They could have some information?
How do you feel about an adventure into the island, discovering how our Nagas are connected to the island and the deities within? Discovering that one of them has been suffering under the hands of the powerful and the answers to restoring the life to the island and why the Nagas were created in the first place all rest inside our bellies!
But don't wait too long, because after a year at least, theres going to be alot more Nagas in the grass!
Unless there's some magic involved by our two wizards to help speed things along! \(^__^)/
Thats an idea!
What do you think?
Tam, we've wound ourselves into a pretty tight knot! I guess the only way out is to just untie for now!

Re: The Hatching Discussion
I'd be up for just about anything on the list, but some island exploration would definitely be fun, not to mention would let us sample the local cuisine without worrying if we're going to run out of otters.
The deity angle could also be interesting to explore, given that the ability to store souls and rebirth them is not at all common. Besides, it's been a while since I've been able to give Azlant some more spirit-y food, and it'd be good practice for Jaku after Kellus passed that ability to him as well.
Either way, I can get the otter gobbled up in a post or two so that things don't get bogged down and we can move on to other things.

Re: The Hatching Discussion
I like the idea of a nrw adventure. I too have been having some rough times with real life that have really dampened writing drive. It's hard to find motivation. You three continually amaze me the way you come up with such amazing and inspiring post. I am hoping that a new adventure and excitement in the role play will help rekindle some that fire.
Yes.. I like your ideas Jaku. Great ideas to run with. One idea I was thinking about was these nagas are powerful and ancient nagas. Chimera and others doesn't know about them because only the otters and the a select few even know of their existence. Their powerful magic or something in the mountain rocks helps keep them hidden. We will have to earn their trust in, I am sure, some most interesting ways.
Oohh yea. Kellus, just so no bad feelings will arise. If Azlant goes for some spirit-y food, Arkain will not be happy. He has always been a persons spirit protector. He may think about trying to stop Azlant he will not stop him. He cares to much about Azlant to do anything to stop. He just will not be thrilled about it.
Well lets see what new adventures are awaiting for us.
OOhhh yea..My inspiration for the power keeping them hidden is inspired from the Wakanda in The Black Panther Movie. An idea for using the powerful naga is Suryia. The naga who created Jaku a long time ago. Just a thought.

Re: The Hatching Discussion
Hello everyone.
Sorry for the silence, I kind of forgot about the RP due to RP keeping me busy. (Thanks Arkain for the note to remind me!)
I do like Jaku's ideas, and there are indeed many questions to answer. Going adventuring into the island after getting some answers from the remaining otters, as well as the people who set up the village seems like a very good idea, we'll see what we find on the way.

Kellus if you object to my asking for Azlant's help, I will change my post.
Yes, I agree. This should be exciting.

Sorry, got pulled out of town for work unexpectedly. And don't worry about asking for Azlant's help; I've been meaning to get him back in but I hadn't had a decent chance to do so up till now.
