Edit: Looks like there might be more bugs yet. If you have a problem with login not synchronizing between the forum and gallery, just log out, clear the cookie, and log in again. This issue is reported by some user usually running mobile connection.

There might be more issues to fix, I will be finishing it and pushing them out later.

That is very good to know. I was starting to get really annoyed that it keåt logging me out every time.

Hello, I am curious how the trending gallery section of the trending dashboard works. I noticed that no artist seems to appear on multiple different years, regardless of their popularity. For example if an artist appears on the list for the year 2020, then they cannot be found on the list for any other year. Is that intentional? If so, how do you decide which year to assign that gallery to?

They show the items submitted for the period you selected. For the folder, it is the artists who started uploading in that specific time period. No decision was involved in the entire dashboard, they are all existing data based on creation dates.

Yup, ran into a few hurdles earlier on the login fix. Apparently, there are more bugs after we fixed some.

It should be fine from here on out. If you have an issue at the moment, you can log out/clear your site cookie, then log back in, and it should stay there for good. Feel free to PM me or use the feedback form (if you can't log in) if there are additional issues once you finish relogging in.

Oh yeah, there should be some performance cleanup as well. The slowdown issue should be resolved for now.

4. Favorite search
Accessible at the search page
Just click the "Search only my favorites" to search only within your favorites. That is all there is to it.

Thank you, but I know your are probably not taking suggestion now but it would be nice if there was feature for watched artist/writers only

6. Search improvement

Search update, added minus support (exclude) and explain statement, like this:

Should be good for a while. We will add more later.

7. Tagging improvement backend overhaul

Added better tagging support, especially on tag approval and responsiveness and more advanced logging system to future improvements. Mostly to record votes/proposals for abuse, etc.

8. Folder view drag and drop support

You can now click "Folder View" On the gallery folder that you own and drag items around to sort them into different folders. We had this feature before, but it was semi broken. Now it should be fully working.

9. Speed improvement

Site has experienced performance issues for a while now. Some are related to code and some are not. The part that are related to our codes should be *mostly* resolved.

10. Logout problem

Log out issue should be *mostly* resolved as well.

11. Edit delete on item / messages

That should be resolved now.

I've been noticing over the past day that the logout issue I was seeing seems to be pretty much gone for me, so add one anecdotal source that whatever you did there seems to be working <3

Yeah, we know what the problem is. It is just the link that the download button uses that is broken. The file itself is fine. I will fix it shortly.

The logout bug could may happen because PHPBB used to limit the current session to the IP. When the IP changes you get logged out.

I think this was a barebone security measure for the times when most small site connections ran over HTTP - but I'm sure you could turn off this behavior (or make it less strict), since it was mentioned here for example:

Some people in some countries have daily changing IP addresses (For example here in Germany). So maybe check if the sessions are limited to the current IP - would also explain why it happens more often on Mobile connections. Also according to the thread I posted maybe it has to do with Cloudflare as well? I never ran a PHPBB Forum along Cloudflare, but since Cloudflare acts as a relay, it could possibly mess with the sessions (If IP bound)?

No, these are not it. It is not a basic PHPBB setting change. It is a very specific problem that I would rather not go into technical details on. Though again, we should have it mostly resolved.

As stated previously, when we are able to commit to adding any specific feature, we will let everyone know. There's no need to ask if we are planning on adding anything.
