That's pretty odd. As best as I can tell, they have the same "radius" (no clipping from the center of the image to the edge), and barely 1/3rd of the least-used property in the corners has been clipped out. It's about the same as a circle cropping, which is reasonably common on some other major sites. Your icon, for example, is quite obviously still a lion.
