Frequently logged out of website

I am having an issue with automatically being logged out of Eka's Portal like every other day.

I've been visiting every single day but every other day I find that I am logged out of the forums and sometimes the main website as well. I have 'log me in automatically every visit' checked every time I log in but I still continue to get logged out on a regular basis.

like if I log in on a Wednesday, I would be logged out on Friday despite being on on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

It is getting to be a pain to frequently have to log myself back in like this.

I don't have any issues with any other website. Only Eka's Portal

I've had the same problem, even when I click the "stay logged in" or whatever box. Though not as frequently as you, for me, it's more of once every three days. But I'm also having the same issue regardless. And like you, it's only Eka's Portal. I hope this is a fixable problem, because it does get annoying after a while.

This happens to me all the time, its been like this for quite a while now.

Is anyone else using both computer and phone to check the Portal? I only noticed this when I started using my phone in the last couple months. I log in on Portal mobile for a while, close the browser (without logging out), then open Ekas on computer and I'm suddenly logged out anyway even though I have the computer set to log automatically. So, I think it's a conflict of devices on my end.

Same problem, accessing from computer only, sometimes once a day and sometimes several times a day.

My problem is similar, but slightly different. it happens at least once every other day or every three days, but it doesn't say I'm logged out until I go to a different page. or sometimes, it takes me two pages. But I tend to be logged out, despite clicking the "stay logged in" thing almost every time (I sometimes click the wrong box).

Sure I will look into it.

It is a pretty complicated problem. Though I suspect the biggest issue is that "Auto login" doesn't work outside of the forum, and the validation will causes issue whenever your ip address changes, etc. For some people if their IP block changes dynamically it does break your login, especially if you don't use the forum as entry page or do not have auto login enable when logging in on the forum.

A few things that can migrate the problems:
1) make your start page the forum https://aryion.com/forum/
2) When login, login at the forum ucp.php?mode=login and make sure "Log me on automatically each visit" is checked

That should be it for now. I will let you know if I come up with any other tricks.

Mine does this as well across Firefox and Opera with Windows 10, as well as Safari with IOS.
(Not sure if that helps, but there's my info anyway.)

I'm usually logged in for seven to fourteen days before I'm logged out.

It's not much of an issue for me but all the same...

same. it does happen to me, but barely enough for it to really bother me
