Weirdly enough, it actually shows the word, not replaced, when you look at the mouse-over version of this thread from Eka's main page, in the 'Recent Topics' section.

all I can think of is a badly made filter(not necessarily a censorship one, some sites just process content in various ways for information,to add links,etc),instead of automatically adding a link to somewhere the word is replaced with a dummy text?
I don't know if this site even has that functionality.
I can't imagine a site like this would have a restriction/aversion to the word parasitism.

edit: it is indeed a sitewide thing(as apposed to a plugin you have on your computer). the word shows up in the edit mode but the published mode has the replacement text.
