I'm trying to upload a new story, but I keep getting errors when I try to save it. I've gotten these three so far:

"Warning: Converting your document to HTML has failed."

"Failed to save uploaded file."

"exception 'Exception' with message 'Failed to write converted HTML text to file 474752-70658-thumb.auto.txt' in /home/aryion/public_html/g4/itemaction.php:877

I even tried uploading the document for my previous story, which uploaded successfully when I originally wrote it, and I got the same set of error messages. It's the same format as my new story (.docx).

The first story I uploaded using a win7 laptop, but now I've upgraded to a win10 PC, so that could be part of the problem. Except I've also tried uploading the file using my phone, and I get the same errors.

Can anyone help me?

... Interesting. Staring at that last message, it almost looks like the site is having trouble generating a thumbnail?
It also says it's having trouble converting to .html format. As a stopgap, maybe use Save As in Word to create an .html format copy of your story, and try to upload that?

I think it's the site. I tried updating a profile image for an alt of mine, all i get is:
"Error Saving
Undefined Undefined"

Try different formats as well. Your text editor should offer several formats to save your story as. Try to select an old one, that might work. I use Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP .doc, and it works perfectly. I think I had the same problem as you when I used a different format.
