New feature list 20th anniversary edition

I will open a new thread to document all the changes so far, since it is getting challenging to tracks.

1. Trending Dashboard

This is mostly meant to show trending submissions over the years and as a way to see what is currently trending every week, along with some statistics that are difficult to search, like favorite counts and comment/replies and engagement overall stuff, but I don't expect this to be very helpful. It is to give people an idea how what our front page back a few decades ago used to look like submission-wise.

2. Livestreams listing
Accessible here https://aryion.com/g4/livestreams.php or on the drop-down
This list is based on finding Picarto links like picarto.tv/username in artists' gallery profiles. That is mostly it, put your link there and it will start getting tracked within the hour.
Twitch links will also be listed by using the Twitch toggle, but currently, they are not tracked; it is just a list.

3. Ruffle support for Flash Media
Accessible wherever someone uploaded Flash media in the past.
New uploads are not expected, but at least old stuff that has already been uploaded in the past will mostly work. Just go through the archive and click on old flash game, like here for example https://aryion.com/g4/search.php?q=flas ... arch=Media

4. Favorite search
Accessible at the search page
Just click the "Search only my favorites" to search only within your favorites. That is all there is to it.

6. Search improvement

Search update, added minus support (exclude) and explain statement, like this:

7. Tagging improvement backend overhaul

Added better tagging support, especially on tag approval and responsiveness and more advanced logging system to future improvements. Mostly to record votes/proposals for abuse, etc.

8. Folder view drag and drop support

You can now click "Folder View" On the gallery folder that you own and drag items around to sort them into different folders. We had this feature before, but it was semi broken. Now it should be fully working.

9. Speed improvement

Site has experienced performance issues for a while now. Some are related to code and some are not. The part that are related to our codes should be *mostly* resolved.

10. Logout problem

Log out issue should be *mostly* resolved as well.

11. Edit delete on item / messages

That should be resolved now.

More changes are coming when I get a chance to work on them. No feature request yet. Still too many things to work on.

As stated in the main thread, when we can accept suggestions, we will let everyone know. We have a long list of existing suggestions already that needs working on.

I noticed the livestream feature a day or two ago and wondered if it had been a feature for a while and I just had somehow never noticed it. Being able to search favorites is also going to be really useful. :3

wowee! A treding dashboard is something i never thought i'd see on this site. this is incredible.

with the advent of a new vore live-streamers, along with the multitude of artists that stream, it'll be nice to just have a one-spot-shop to just look and see whos streaming rather than looking through individual profiles and feeds.

Ruffle support is a small but nice thing. preserve old media and all that.

i cant really tell how useful Favorite search will be, i'll have to try it out...

I don't see any API from them. No way for us to check, and it won't be very useful to list them.

Very nice additions; the livestream one isn't something I expected but seems like a useful feature that can maybe build some community cohesion in that realm.

This is it. If I'm committed to a new update or ready to accept suggestion I would simply state so. There are no updates being committed at the time. Nor are we accepting more suggestions at the moment.
