This is great news! I had thought this one was gone for ever, and I really really hate to see good writing or ideas vanish like that.

I'm adding a few more chapters that you missed by the way.

I accidentally left an Asterisk in the next chapter title though, so if you could edit that back out...

Ah, thanks for the new chapters. As I said my saves of the interactive weren't 100% so there are a few others that I couldn't put back. Though there were a few that I choose to not put back, like poorly written or two lines short chapters. However, if there is good stuff further from such a chapter, then it justify putting them back.

I edited, and changed the titles to what they used to be. You can see the the previous Down the Hatch tree with the right titles here : http://web.archive.org/web/200809141017 ... on/outline.

I'm glad to see I could help. And as the interactive owner's on writing.com, I can see how many people read a given chapter, which is pretty fun. Already 122 for the first chapter, and not many 0 view anymore :).

*feels hopeful as I check where I'd made my chapters* .....

Awww... Guess they were too new, what a shame, I was really proud of those, prouder than just about anything I've ever written...

If you are one of these chapters author, and do not wish your work to be reuploaded, then contact me and it will be deleted.

I've got a strict "no uploading my stuff without my concent"- rule, which is pretty obvious in most my posted stuff. And which has been pretty clear in previous threads concerning this interactive. I'm not a difficult fellow to get in touch with.

There are a few chapters further in that line that I added as I remember, but I didn't have them. You've already added everything else I remember that was there that I have, I think.

Holy *Expletive clumsily removed* Batman! I tried to find Enigma the Fox for ages on Writing.com before to ask what happened to this years ago, but for some reason never thought to check on Ekas *face slaps*. A few months ago I'd started to reassemble Down the Hatch as a rebuild using the Wayback Machine and had it up to about 200 chapters... when I discovered Manubestofplus' interactive. Dang, someone beat me to the punch!

Now I don't know what to do with my version. It's restricted, as I was going to keep it that way till I'd managed to get up all that Wayback Machine had of the site (about 400 posts I think), but Man's version has way more than mine.

I was going through trying to edit the chapters for spelling etc but hadn't finished working stuff up as yet. barely half of what I had uploaded was checked. But one thing to thank you Manubestofplus was managing to recover 'What no Icecream?' episode. Pretty much my favorite from DtH original! The WBM couldn't find that episode at all, or it's immediate predecessors. Thanks :) Pretty much all of Enigma the Fox's posts were great (even those that went for digestion which really isn't my thing)

So thanks again Manubestofplus for getting such a detailed repost organised. Now I just have to get the gumption to start reposting in that!

Seems that now that all the pedo-interactives have been taken down by writing.com, the pedophiles have found their way to this story.

I've just one thing to say: Clean up your act, either this shit goes, or you've got to remove my stuff. I'm in no mood to be associated with this.

If you're in a foul mood from it, give it another look when you've cooled. You've got your right in my opinion to ask for your contribution to be taken down if you don't want to associate, that's a fair condition. But I still can't fathom how some guy's three entries about sexually desiring to please a fictional 8-year-old girl is too far, when so many vore stories include rape, incest, and murder, and I don't think his entries should prove a problem for your rep.

Strange then, that all the interactives that contains the former gets deleted and even if they contain all the rest, but not the first stays up.

There's a reason we have a specific underage section here on the portal, because despite all the wicked things that does come up there's still a big difference if you sexualize adults or not. Writing.com doesn't want to be associated with it, which the purging of such stories proves and I certainly don't want to either.
Now this story has been out of it for some time, I mean its glory days were like 2003-2006, that's quite a while ago. I'm not sure what could bring it back, but if this is the direction, then I don't want to be a part of it.

I totally get this. In case anyone here didn't know by the way, I've been hearing there's a huge crackdown on the internet right now on this sort of stuff. A couple of countries have made it illegal to own/view pictures or writing of erotic nature including even fictional children, and it's likely that more nations will soon be following. Website owners and admins are trying to purge stuff or isolate it now so that they don't wind up having a serious problem brought to them.

Personally, I've never liked anything that mixed sex and children together (aside from the basic natural progression that having the first can lead to having the second.) As for those who find the ideas erotic, they're humans too and I believe they've got a fundamental right to exist and be happy as long as they don't hurt others, and hurting others includes actually doing sexual things to kids. We too have a fetish for things that, if actually done in the real world or tried to make real, could/would be horrible. I personally can respect an individual who is turned on by pretty much anything as long as they don't try to make it real and hurt people. The critical difference I see is that the fetish of pedophilia is something that people very regularly do try to make real. It's something that crosses the dangerous fantasy line way too many times into the real world, and badly scars a lot of children. So I can understand the world reacting and saying "Okay, this has gone too far, this isn't an okay thing anymore even for fantasy." You don't hear about sex offenders trying to eat their victims on a near daily basis on the news. Unfortunately, sexual child abuse has pretty much gotten to that point.

It makes me really sad that it's getting tacked on to a lot of things that I do like, like vore and other weirdness, because even if I could zone it out and just enjoy the vore (like I do with stories that have a number of other things I don't like included,) I don't want to be caught up in and associated with it. Also, it sucks that so much of the good vore writing is getting purged out with it. The best you can do to protect from that is to make sure your writings/art aren't being mixed in with it.

It's kind of hilarious how much of a moral high this guy was on over some loli fetish writing.

The critical difference I see is that the fetish of pedophilia is something that people very regularly do try to make real.

And removing cartoon porn from the Internet is going to stop those sick fucks... how, exactly? Lots of rape happens in real life, should we just totally remove rape hentai from the Internet? We could say goodbye to like 80% of the hentai in the world if that was the case, but it's not, because people who are going to do awful things in real life will do them regardless of whether or not some animated pictures are available to them legally. People shouldn't be punished more than they already are socially for trying to freely enjoy a kink that they don't enact in real life.

I know it's been a while but I would appreciate it if someone who has it, would share a download link to the offline files for this interactive. This one really hits all the kinks I like so I would appreciate it to have it on my hard drive again (previous one went up in flames sadly).
