I'm sorry but I can't easily search through what I have. If you want something I need the name or (preferably because it's how they're stored) the ID number.

Here is the index of what I have saved, there are a few exceptions but it's mostly accurate.

If you want me to post anything I've got, PM me with the name and if possible ID number.

The DeviantArt Account of "DominationFemales" is deactivated!
(DominationFemales - formerly known as "V-Games".)
This really really... sucks.
Anyone any ideas, if this talented guy started with a new account at DeviantArt already?

There was an interactive story here a few years ago that was deleted. It was something like adventures of lake vonva or something. The main character was Cecil and there was a lamia in it. There was one page that stayed on where the story should have been and it just said please delete this. I have no idea if this is enough info but it is all i can remember. I hope someone saved it because I thought it was good when it was up. I don't expect anyone to have or remember it but I thought I might as well try and see if anyone has it.

Is there anyway you could make some of these more... Navigatble? I'd love to try and reboot Chris's Turn and THe Vore Epic.

I have a python script that parses the html files and turns them into a structured arrangement in xml, but nothing to convert them into a navigatable website-like setup.
If you want to play arond with the code and maybe rig something like that up, go right ahead.
I can't do it myself because I'm rather busy IRL.

ChapterParser.py handles extracting the useful data from the html, while the other scripts read the file, send it to the parser, and process the results to whatever format needed.

Lurky lurker with incredibly dumb question for everyone regarding these downloads; How do I actually use them? They seem to stop following links after a couple of pages each, aside from links to the current writing.com

Sorry about that. It's something probably caused by the way the downloads were done ages ago when I still used HTTrack for interactives.
It's even worse for readability now, as I mostly care about the story existing rather than being accessible, so the newer versions saved with my new method aren't linked at all, instead assuming that they will be processed to handle that before upload to some website.

I might try making a program to build a navigable version of a story at some point, but it's not a high priority at the moment due to IRL commitments.
Any coders who care enough to try are welcome to use my data-extraction code to get the chapters and links out of the html.
There should be copies of some older versions in the folder and if you care about it I can post my latest code if you ask (Everything is written in Python.)

EDIT: I'm giving it a try, the hardest part will probably be figuring out the HTML for the display page.
EDIT: I've written something basic to join the chapters together. There is no outline view or proper formatting, but it seems to work.

Ahh, sorry about that, then, I'm not the most web-make-worky-thing-literate person, by far, so I figured if a few links worked and then some wouldn't, it was something to do with writing.com's arseholish anti-adblock system. I can understand wanting to mainly save the raw data, though.

On the edit, though, should those be files I run in python, or place somewhere? I'm sorry about this, I'm really not very smart when it comes to... well. Most things actually. For an alleged goddess, my omnipotence is sorely lacking. But internet page workings are definitely on the lower end of 'shit I know'.

link_story_chapters.py is the script you want to use, set the target folder to whatever folder the story is in.
If you've got python ~2.7 installed, you should be able to just run it and be prompted to give an input folder.
It should output a linked version of the story to a folder called "output html"

The extent of web design I'm trying to handle is one page template for displaying the chapters, links, and misc info like author's names.
Maybe if things go well an outline page template.

I've written a new version that should make nicer looking pages and be slightly more user friendly, here it is:
