Pito woke up the next morning on the fox's fur. "Where am I?" he asked, shocked, forgetting that he fell asleep on Valak.

Pito plucked a strand of fur from Valak's back, went up to his face, tickling his nose. He quickly went back to where he was, pretending to sleep before Valak could find out what it was.

"Achoo!" I sneeze, waking up. Upon seeing the sleeping Pito, I decide not to move for fear of waking him up. I just gaze happily at his sleeping form.

Pito got up, and saw that Valak was awake. "Where am I?" he asked, pretending to be suprised.

"You're on my stomach." I answer. "You must have fallen asleep there after Cuna cured my stomachache."

"That's right. She did." Pito remembered. "I probably wouldn't have got a wink of sleep on here if you were still sick." he said jokingly, scratching the fox's belly.

Pito followed Valak. He was actually starting to trust the fox. And, he was hungry, too, to boot.

Once I got to the kitchen, I asked the cook, "Could you make me some delicious blueberry pancakes please?"

Several minutes later, five Pekenyo carried a plate of blueberry pancakes. "Here 'ya go." the cook said to Valak.

"Thank you." I said politely as I started eating the blueberry pancakes. They were delicious! I was seriously starting to reconsider eating these pekenyos.

Pito came into the kitchen then. "Could I get some baked apples?" he asked the chef. He got his food, and sat next to Valak. "Good morning, Valak." he said cheefully to the fox.
