Hyrbrid Plains (Private RP)

[zearo8]

"Yeah they didn't. So let's go with that idea you thought of and look for them. You can go on ahead. I need to wait for my tail to lose all its fat first."

[Glaive]

"Alright. But when I find them I'll tell them you weren't able to come because your tail was fat. I'm sure they'll understand." Glaive said sarcastically, but perhaps Zalon's friend would understand.

Glaive got up and looked around wondering which direction to go in.

[zearo8]

As Glaive stands there a hybrid of a cheetah and a raptor zooms by him.

[Glaive]

((I won't be able to get on very much at all this week, but I'll try))

Glaive had his guard down and was taken aback by a creature that whizzed by him. When he was finally able to ctch sight of it he gave out a low, resounding growl. What now? He thought to himself. Another hybrid by the looks of it, part cat and part dinosaur.

"And who in the world are you?" He said through narrowed eyes.

[zearo8]

((Ok I understand))

The hybrid makes a small screech as it squirms around. "I'm a Chitor; half raptor half cheetah. Please lemme go! I'll do anything you want... except being food!"

[Glaive]

"Whoah! Whoah! Slow down. I'm not here to hurt you, but if you keep running into people like that you just might end up in a bad predictament." Glaive took a small pause and looked at Zalon then back at the Chitor.
"Have you by any chance seen a twin-headed hydra nearby?"

[zearo8]

The chitor thinks for a bit and makes a reply "Yeah I've seen them but a bear/chimera hybrid took them to the very end of the plains. Now if you'll excuse me I need to be running from a frog/griffon hybrid that wants me for dinner!"

[Glaive]

"Did you say a frog-griffon hybrid? Is he or she...big? Wait nevermind it doesn't matter. You could stay by me and Zalon over here. I'm sure we could defen you from him or her. Is that alright with you Zalon?"

[zearo8]

Zalon nods as his tail returns to its normal size. "Sure. We could help him." The chitor thinks for a while then repiles "It's more of a genderless species and it's 15 feet tall! It got long tail, thick strong forlegs and hindlegs! It's also got a head of a griffon but it has a frog's long and sticky tounge!"

[Glaive]

"Wow, sounds pretty big. Okay, um, hmmm..." Glaive's voice trailed off as he tried to devise a plan on how they could defend this chitor from a 15 foot monster. "I have two plans in mind, both of which are very risky. Plan number one: We wait for the predator to arrive and we attack it mercilessly. Plan number two: We use you as bait, wait for the froggiffon to arrive and then ambush it, taking it by surprise will give us an advantage. These are just two plans though. If you guys have any ideas you might want to speak them now before the froggriffon comes."

[zearo8]

Zalon thinks for a while and replies "Let's go with plan number two. I'm usually better at ambushing than just attacking head on." The chitor makes a hard swallow and a lump forms in his throat as the froggriffon approaches.

[Glaive]

"Okay we don't have much time. I'll hide behind that bush over there. Zalon you can hide wherever you think you won't be seen. And as for you, um, I'm afraid you'll have to be bait. So just stand there until the froggiffon comes and they'll we'll attack it."

Glaive then dives behind the bush

Zalon hides in bush beside the second bush. The chitor shakes nevously as the froggriffon comes to him.

[Glaive]

Glaive reached into his pocket and pulled out a smoke bomb.
"Stay still. Don't run. Just stay still." Glaive whispered under his breath at the chitor.
He was waiting for the dire moment for the froggrifon to reveal himself and the he would signal Zalon so they could launch the attack.

The froggriffon appears and looks at the chitor as he whimpers and swallows hard. Zalon waits for the signal.

[Glaive]

"Now!" Glaive shouts as he tosses the smoke bomb over his shoulder. It hits the ground and explodes with a resounding 'boom'. Smoke and ash lift up into the sky clouding the froggriffon's vision. "Run!" Glaive yells at the chitor. Glaive jumps over the bush and latches onto the froggriffon's back. Placing both his hands flat against it he releases a high voltage of electricity.

Zalon flies at the froggriffon throwing yellow feathers at it which causes more electricity to flow onto it. The froggriffon makes a loud screech as it's being fried like crazy. The chitor tries to flee but the froggriffon tries to shake off the lighting and Glaive as it lashes its tounge at him.

[Glaive]

"Not good!" Glaive says as he struggles to hang on. He climbs up the froggriffon's back and onto his head where he spots the chitor trying to dodge the froggriffon's tongue. "I hate heights." He mutters to himself. Glaive used his claw and jammed it in the creatures eye. The froggrifon screamed in agony as it clutched it's eye and thrashed about, throwing Glaive off of him. Glaive sprawled to the ground and looked up at the 15 foot beast. Hopefully that will give the chitor enough time to get out of here, and increase our chances of beating this creature.

The chitor runs away from the predicament without being eaten. Zalon lands on the froggriffon's head. "Glaive, I'm going to do something very crazy! I'm gonna eat this one whole!"

[Glaive]

Glaive goes wide-eyed.
"What!? You can't be serious! There's no way you can eat that whole thing.....can you?"
