(Yeah, I hate that. Maybe we should do a collaboration.)

I sigh. "...after you were...let's just say captured for the experiment...they went and got the rest of the village. They were used as test subjects, too, since they wanted to make sure this worked before they made you into what you are now."

Ivalice would narrow her eyes, thinking about that for a moment. "How many of the village survived?" She asked.

(Like you do a sketch, and I'll line, color, and shade.)

I fold my arms and think. "...I think I'll filter that answer. Anyone in a currently living state that can be salvaged...that would be about...five. Two of which are your parents."

[reliuskaiser]

"We should go find them and rescue them." She said.

(That sound good?)

I nod. "That would involve going back where I broke you out of, you think you're ready for that? Considering how things didn't go so well the first time..."

[reliuskaiser]

(Quite fine enough.)

"Uh...no, I guess I'm not.." She would sigh. "But are they still able to be saved?" She asked.

(Alright, anything you'd prefer doing?)

I nod. "Of course, they're not...too far experimented on. Like some of the others. But they may be at risk now that they need to make something to replace you."

"....." Ivalice would clench her fist as she thought of her family being used for something she was unaware of. "I wish I could help them.."

(Not really sure, got any suggestions?)

(Well, you recently sketched Ivalice navel voring Miles, right? We could use that.)

I fold my arms. "...we could try and bust them out if you're confident."

"But I'm not, I don't know everything I can do nor how to do them, and you have no real means of helping me other than protecting me right now."

I nod. "...we need to find a safer place so I can help you discover your abilities."

(I'm gonna start drawing again, hopefully soon. Life's been making me not want to do anything with all things I'm being told I need to do now.)

"Maybe the next town will be a good place to try searching." Ivalice siad moving over and hugging Miles.

(Yikes, I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you're starting to draw again soon.)

I hug her back, nuzzling her. "Alright, let's head there."

Ivalice leads him back to the sign, looking around to see if anyone was following them. "No one's here it seems. Let's get a move on to the next city." She said heading the other direction.

I look around and nod, following. "Wonder what this city will be like..." I chuckle. "Who knows, it might be an actual technological city..."

"The past city had kind of a mix of technology and rural areas." She said while walking. "It was kinda nice."

I nod. "True...but there's a charm about a big, bustling city that I can't deny. Like New York City."

[reliuskaiser]

"New York..never been there, how is it, actually?" She asked.

[9kirby99]

I chuckle. "I mean...I lived in new York, it was great. But I never visited new York city."

"Oh? Are the places different? I thought they were the same." Ivalice looked puzzled at that.
