Settled Down (Kirby and RK)

"...Hm? What is it, now?..Okay then..see you." Ivalice uttered as she place the phone down. She sighed "Another day as usual." She thought, walking into Quina's room to find she was still sleeping.

Miles turned off the water as he finished his shower. He stepped out of the stall, getting his towel and starting to dry off. He then combed his hair, then put his glasses back on, smiling at himself in the mirror.

Ivalice overheard Miles preparing himself for work. Or should I say, hunting? Either way, he was finished with his shower and it was almost time for the sun to rise. Ivalice smiled petting her eighth tale, looking at the gold and scarlet ring Miles gave to her on their special day.

Miles went back to his room, getting out some clothes for himself. After dressing, he exited the room, heading downstairs.

"..." Ivalice said nothing as she went to the kitchen. It's been 2050 years since we met, an this is how far we come.

Miles went into the Kitchen, smiling when he saw Ivalice. "Morning, honey!"

"Hey there, Miles. You ready for today? Ivalice asked, not paying to the fact that Quina has sensitive ears. "I went to see Quina again to make sure she was still sleeping."

Miles nodded. "I'm all ready. All I have to do is catch a few more, and we'll be ready." He put a hand on her shoulder. "And tomorrow...we can begin the plan to repopulate your home, Ivalice."

"..." Ivalice smiled when Miles mentioned the idea of repopulating the Village. "Okay, then I better get your lunch ready." She said.

Miles nodded. "Thanks, hon." He kissed her. "I'll be back soon, tell Quina I love her." He exited the house, hurrying into the forest.

"Sure thing, dear...." She said kissing back as she watched him leave. "Okay, now to prepare a meal for the family. Soon, it'll be so much more." Ivalice said when a certain pair of names came into her mind. "...Leonys...Steven.." She looked back to make sure no one was behind her as she browsed through her thoughts.

Miles looked around the forest, smiling. He'd gotten to know this area quite well...and that would make it easy to finish catching creatures. He dashed silently through the forest.

(Mind being something or someone for Miles to get?)

"Ugh, this forest is killing me!" A girl complains "Just more climbing and more trees, how is this place still even around?" She asked walking up a path.

Miles heard her, turning to where she as. He began along normally towards her until he came into view. "Oh, hello there!"

The young woman, about an inch taller than Miles, wearing a jacket,short pants and a white shirt looked up to him exhausted "Oh! Finally someone I can talk to." She said sighing.

Miles grinned. "I'm Miles. Who are you?"

"Yuko. I was taking a trip with some friends a few days ago when they suddenly disappeared. I'm now the only one that's left and I can't seem to get out of this forest." She said.

Miles nodded. "I see...I live nearby, why don't you come with me?"

[reliuskaiser]

"Uh, sure. As long as I don't have to deal with this forest." She said climbing up.

Miles chuckled. "It isn't far." He began walking back towards home. "So, tell me about yourself."
