The Drifter (Relius and Erikbodje)

The air was cool and the atmosphere serene, a girl slowly made her way what she could only guess was an unknown island.

ashley had recently woken up and was headed towards the ocean needing to fill up her water supplies

Though yes, the sea was mainly comprised of saltwater, it did not seem to apply in waters surrounding Islands, as they were pure freshwater. Off in the distance a small figure could be seen floating in the water.

ashley squints her eyes wanting to examine the strange figure: h- hello? * she shouted, not sure who or what it was*

Hearing someone call out to her, Piete opened her eyes for the first tie in quite some time. Taking time to stretch before looking around.

she cozld see a human girl standing on the side of the beach, looking at her, obviously worried, the gilr was alone and seemed rather harmless

Piete looked over at the beach and smiled as her belly grumbled. "I guess it's time to eat." She said taking a moment to breathe before diving.

ashley shakes her head thinking"did she just dive into the water?" this tought was confirmed as piele came out of the water infront of her

Piete looked up at the young girl in wonder as she admired her features. She was then struck with confusion as she remembered something. "Umm, excuse me, but why is a Pure living on a remote island?" She asked floating on the water's surface.

ashley blushes: a-a pure? what do you mean by that miss?

"Aren't you a pureblood? You don't seem to have any special features like us or the Soryne, but I thought all Pures lived in the sky." She said.

(Pures are 100% human)

ashley: well i uhm, zought this was basically the only species of himans, thrres more on the island

[reliuskaiser]

(Pures are as I said, Soryne and Drifters are not classified as human but as mutations of humans. Then there are anthros --self explanatory--, and then there are Dragons of Land, Sea, and Sky. There are also animals, but they are almost as rare as Pures.)

"Hmm, I wonder why?" Piete said as she walked onto land, her skin glistening against the water.

ashley blushes as she looks at piete: a-anyway would you like some shelter? i have a home you can stay in

"Why sure, I love the feeling of sand on my feet after I get out of the water." She said.

ashley: okay just follow me then* she starts walking home holding the buckets*

Piete smiled as her skin seemed a bit translucent as she followed the young girl before noticing her stomach grumble.

ashley blushes slightly as she hears her stomach, knowing how some sea creatures tend to eat humans: uhm, would you like me to make you a salad?^^;

"Uh no, I eat meat, being a Drifter means more often than not being completely Carnivorous." Piete said. "Though, I will try to stave off my hunger since you so graciously invited me to your home." She smiled.
