A Tail to Hear About (xXSonicYashaXx and 9kirby99)

I watch, letting her examine Tails. I gently hold his hand in case he's nervous.

Tails looked calm, but tensed when Malkeore growled when Marie prods at his fangs. "Um, he said stop that."

"What? It's for science!" Marie said, but did stopped to write something down. "Malkey is just a grump every time we do examination."

I nod. "Gee, wonder why? Maybe because he's a tail."

Tails giggled as Marie huffs with a pout. "Okay okay, that was my bad."

Malkey snorts before flopping on the medbed, grumbling lowly.

I pat Malkey. "Don't worry. I'll hold her down so you can get your revenge once you're better."

"Hey!" Marie squeaked as Malkeore grins a bit. "Don't encourage him!"

I smirk. "I will." I poke her. "Need I remind you of the other things you've done prior..."

"Uuuuuuuuuuggggggggh!" Marie groaned out, crossing her arms as she said. "No, I remember some punishments VERY well thank you."

I giggle. "And you'll remember the next one, too." I look back to Tails. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, though."

"Okie dokie!" Tails chirps, the hugs Malkey with a purr. "We'll be fine~"

Malkeore huffed, letting him hug though.

I smile and look to Marie. "Anyway, let's get to work."

"Alright," Marie nods, then goes through her drawers of tools before pulling out a huge needle. "I just need some blood samples from him."

Tails suddenly widen his eyes and shrieks at the scary looking thingy, leaping up to the ceiling again and clings on for dear life. Malkeore yelped and hissed from the action, flailing around.

I sigh, going to get a ladder. "Geez, could you at least ease him into the idea before whipping out needles?" I slide it under Tails, climbing up to get him. "It's okay, buddy, it'll be okay."

"Whoops, right," Marie sweated as she sets it down.

"She's gonna kill meeeeeeeee!" Tails shrieked, not letting go of the ceiling.

I try to tug him down. "No, she won't!" I sigh, looking to Marie, then to Tails. "...what if she injected herself first, to show it'll be completely safe?"

Tails still looked unsure, perking up when Marie said with a nod. "Sure! I'll show that there's nothing to be afraid of."

"...Okay," Tails said, but he kept his spot until she did it.

I nod and look to her. "Alright. I'll be administering it to you, then Marie, where can I find another one?"

"Just use this one," Marie said as she pulled out another needle from her lab coat (jeez how any does she have?!).

I blink, taking it. "...alright, then..." I gently pin her arm, before gently inserting the needle and depressing the plunger.

Marie only twitched her arm for the slight pinch, but to Tails it was amazing how she hardly reacted being poked.
