"Oh no, we have to go deal with those beasts again, don't we? I don't have my swords with me this time, and fire doesn't work on them...Guess we'd have to bolt for it.." he says, folding his arms.

"Those things were fast. I don't like our odds if they catch our scent..." Asha murmurs, but then Penelope shakes her head.

"Indeed, without our help, you wouldn't do well against that many beast-chimera. We're too focused on keeping sane to risk becoming any stronger... but there is another way." The worm infested woman gestures toward Sofia, who waves happily and obliviously at Qotle.
"Sofia doesn't have a scent, or at least the beasts ignore her unless she touches the crystals." Penelope explains. "She can also hide you from their noses, get you close enough to the crystals... though that won't be easy. She's also strong and tough enough to help you out if you get spotted, though... well, you probably won't like how she hides you."

Asha blinks at the statement. "Hide us? Okay, I get that she's some kind of golem, but how would she hide us from beasts like that?"

Penelope smiles, in a rather worrying way. "Sofia? Show them your magic box."

"Okay!"

Suddenly, there's a massive metal sarcophagus where Sofia was standing, big enough even for a very large man. Qotle can see Sofia's smiling face looking at him.

"Sofia's not just a golem. She's an Iron Maiden, so she can fit at least one person inside her like that." Penelope continues, and gestures again. "Open up Sofia."

And the Iron maiden does swing open... revealing something horrible inside her.

He shakes his head. "Ok then, my many questions set to the side for now, we should probably head out now if we want to get you all food anytime soon." He rubs the back of his head. "Maybe I can find my swords out there as well.."

Penelope chuckles darkly. "Yeah, for some reason, the beasts think Sofia is part of the landscape. But if you hide in her, you have to make sure you don't cum. If they're in the same room, they'll smell it... and they'll start trying to get at you."

Sofia slams herself shut and turns back into her human form. "yes, careful must be! Sofia cannot attack or move when she is a box, and people juice is very, very tasty!"

"Also that. I'm not sure how long she can resist actively sucking at you if you hide in her... so try to avoid it if you can." Penelope says in a dry voice.

Asha's face is a bit red now that she's seen the inside of Sofia. "yeah... Brother, I think you're going to have to do this alone. I'm still beat up, but I can at least hold the door here... and if we both tried squeezing into Sofia, I'm pretty sure that... wouldn't end well." She sighs and leans her mace against the wall. "Look, at the very least, Sofia looks like she'd be a good tank. She's tougher than me, even if she's slow and can't do much damage. She'll be able to hold off the beasts if the worst happens, but you'll need to hide somewhere else, fast if you get spotted."

Penelope guestures to the worm tentacle in the ceiling. "Sofia can guide you to the beasts lair, and the tunnel worms can reach there too. if you break the crystals off, and give them to the tunnel worm, they'll be able to take them directly back here. Good luck out here."

"Oh goodie, I can't say I'm brimming with confidence about this mission, but it's one I have to do.." Qotle says, looking over at Asha as she speaks about him having to go with Sofia alone. He wouldn't have much of a problem with that had he not seen the inside of her body or not have any form of weapon. "Hey, do you have any sticks of rods I could use as a sword. I don't feel comfortable not having one when I know what I'm dealing with here." He says, not really expecting them to have much if anything, but even a piece of wood can hurt if shooved into one's mouth hard enough.

"Well... there is something." Penelope points to a group of broken cages. "There's some bars in there from when we first broke out. They aren't much... but they're better than your fists. Not much better, but still."

"Wait," Asha pauses, blinking at the sight of the mutated women. "If you escaped the first time, whats keeping you in THAT cage?"

"The forcefield makes it painful to try and reach through the bars. But not much is keeping us here besides our own will." Penelope shrugs again. "I'm the strongest of us, and I don't want to rape and eat my little brother. So here we stay, as long as I can bear hunger." Her voice stutters and cracks for a second. "It's... harder than you know. If we break out, please get them out or kill us. None of us want to live with the thought of hurting our families."

Penelope looks back to Qotle, her face serious. "We really are relying on you to get those crystals. If you do, we'll be able to eat enough to help you fight off the beasts. There won't be... a significant risk of us turning on you afterward. But you must understand, we aren't blackmailing you here. If Sofia drops this forcefield now, as we are, we'd try to eat you."

Sofia grins, not very aware of the drama going on around her, and picks up two sword sized metal bars. "Here is pretend poker for you!"

Qotle can't help but feel a lot more pressure suddenly tacked onto this mission. "Ah, I see.." he says, looking over to the innocent looking Sofia as she moves over to the broken cage and handed him two rods of metal to use as makeshift swords. He steps away after taking them, getting a feel for the rods by swinging them away from everyone. "I..can work with this. I won't be cutting anything, but at least I can smack something real hard. Thanks, and with that, we'll be off. Gotta get this done with quick." Qotle says. "Come on, Sofia."

"Sofia is coming! Knows way to main room! though..." the iron woman rubs her chin thoughtfully. "Sofia does not know sneaky way. Must looks for one."

"I'm sure you two will find one." Asha grunts slightly as she follows both of them up the stairs to the door, leaning on her mace. "The one good thing about almost all our group getting snatched by those beasts, is that the beasts are probably going to be too busy enjoying them to really be on the lookout for one or two people sneaking around the area. Keep your eyes peeled though... I won't be able to bail you out this time."

Asha's smile is a bit strained at that. While normally she'd be looking after Qotle against Amorous girls, Asha's not in good enough shape to defend herself at this point. Qotle will have to be VERY careful from here on out.

Qotle looks to Sofia and nods. "Ok then, Sofia, we might need to look around for some ways to go around the beasts outside. If we need to talk, we'll need to do so quietly. I'm not trying to get caught or molested here, so I wanna make this clear while we're working together." Qotle says as they prepare to head to the door. Qotle quickly turns around and gives Asha a hug. "See you soon, Asha. Don't do anything reckless until I get back. It may take us a while to get back due to the nature of the mission, so try to hang on for me, okay?" He says to her before backing away.

[Darian]

"Mmm, we will have to poke and peek. It will be fun! But quiet, quiet, Sofia promises." The metal woman takes a cautious step, as if having to remember how to move quietly, and walks out the door.

Asha returns Qotle's hug, and lingers a bit as Sofia pulls the door shut behind her with ease. Qotle would hear a low clunking sound as Asha engages the lock from the other side.

He's apart from her again... but at least this time he isn't alone. Sofia pads along the corridors, occasionally murmuring 'Quiet, Quiet..." as if having to remind herself of the need. The metal woman had to move slowly, as she tried to move carefully. It was clear that she was no warrior. even just walking in a straight line she often wavered on the verge of loosing her balance. Honestly, he had more balance when he was a kid...

Maybe there was something to that?

Still, they had to keep moving. Eventually, Sofia stopped at one of the doors. "Here, Sofia remembers sneaky passage in this room! forget where it is though... have to look."

She pushes open the door, revealing another office. "Sofia take little humans through here! kitties think they tasty, but cannot fit!" The metal woman taps her head with a tinking sound. "Where sneaky door..."

Qotle nods and follows after Sofia, looking around them to make sure nothing was watching them or could hear them. Sofia was making the most noise, but her body kinda wouldn't allow her to be quiet so he couldn't bead at her. When they stumbled upon the doors to the office, Sofia explained that this place is pretty much safe from the beasts. Qotle nods, heading in so he could look for anything resembling a trap door or a vent. "Good job, Sofia."

It should be mentioned... the room is NOT too small for the beasts to get in. in fact, they could walk in through the door, which Sofia closed behind them. it must be the passage that is too small for the beasts to travel through.

Sofia still beams with pride at Qotle's praise. "Happiness! Even Sofia is smarter than kitties. they not know passage lead to other room. lick at secret sneaky passage until give up." She frowns slightly though. "still, cannot remember where small humans hid door. Hmmmmm..."

As the Iron Maiden taps her chin muttering to herself, when the fact that the Chimera beasts could get into the room becomes a bit more relevant.

"Hurlurlurrluurrr... haaaallllrrlrrlrlr..." The sound of something breathing, as if straining to breathe through a mouth of many tongues, whispers down the corridor outside.

Sofia instantly goes on alert, her eyes wide. "Oh no. Kittie coming."

and they still don't know where the passage is.

Qotle nods, looking around the room for someplace to get out of sight as well as find the passage, he quickly spans across the walls, hitting them lightly to listen for any inconsistencies that would let him know where they needed to go. "Shit, and nothing here so far.." He look back to Sofia. "Sofia, I need to hide inside you." He says, taking a quick glance around the room again before hopping over an over turned table and pacing over to Sofia.

With that last reminder, Sofia suddenly becomes a coffin again, and opens wordlessly to reveal her tenatcled insides. She swings back shut and there's a moment of twisting 'not right' that seems to be more like blinking without closing his eyes, and Sofia is a metal woman again. "Whew and whew... that was scary! Do not think Kitty could pry open box, but would hurt if tried..."

She takes a moment to look over at Qotle on the ground, then smiles. "Sofia remembers where passage is now! Is behind that wooden box." She points to one of the cupboards.
