It was another day at the dog pound, a large dog named Aeris patiently awaits somebody who would adopt him.

I enter the pound, looking for a dog.

There were lots of dogs to choose from, but by far the largest of them all is the dog named Aeris.

I go to them and look them over. Wow...I'm actually a little smaller than him, if I got on all fours, at least. I smile. "Hi..."

[DarkEntity]

Aeris looked at him and barked happily.

[9kirby99]

I chuckle. "You look cute..." I peek underneath to check the gender. "Wanna come home with me, boy?"

[DarkEntity]

Aeris barked at him again happily, his tail wagging rapidly.

[9kirby99]

I smile, looking over to the clerk. "I'd like this one, please."

[DarkEntity]

"Great, just sign up here and here!" The clerk said, handing him a pen to sign up the papers on the desk.

I go to the desk, take the pen, sign the papers, and smile. "There you go."

[DarkEntity]

"Alright, here's your collar. Have fun with your dog!" The clerk happily said, handing out his collar to him.

I smile, putting the collar on my new dog, and attaching the leash to him. "Let's go home, boy." I smile and head out, towards home.

Aeris barked happily as he followed his new owner.

I soon arrive home. I remove the leash as we enter the house.

[DarkEntity]

Aeris was expecting his owner as one of those rich types who lived in a mansion or a palace, but he can't choose what his would be as he is stuck with him.

[9kirby99]

It was a pretty average house. "Go ahead and explore, Aeris." I'd gotten the name from the form.

[DarkEntity]

Aeris explored the house slowly.

[9kirby99]

I sit and relax.

[DarkEntity]

Once he has finished exploring the house, Aeris comes back to him.

[9kirby99]

I smile. "Familiar with the house, boy?"
