Lonely Spirits (Darian and GeneticMess)

[Darian]

The old japanese mansion was technically a historical site, but nobody remembered it. Four stories of impressive architecture, all left to rot and crumble, perched above an impressive seaside cliff, above the old road.

One could always hear the wind howling, but it was especially bad on this stormy night. Driving on the cliff roads was dangerous in this weather... but so was the risk of running out of gas.

Children sometimes dared each other to go there on dark nights... but nobody really went, except in the day. it was generally held to be 'incredibly creepy' even at noon. always rumors of sighs and whispers and moving shadows. but now...

well, the mansion was a dungeon of shadows. nobody sane would go there, right? Especially in the rain.

[GeneticMess]

Cue a young woman, groaning in annoyance as she sat in her car. Her gasless, dead car. Her name was Rachel, but everyone she knew called her Rai, and she heavily preferred that name. She had short, red hair, fair shaded skin, and an athletic figure. She was wearing cargo shorts, along with a heavy jacket and a tank top underneath.

Rai hadn't anticipated the intense downpour, much less that she'd be low on gas way out here. She remembered the stories and rumors that spread about an old japanese castle around here, and sure enough, she could see it faintly out her window. She didn't like it, but she'd have to stay there for the night. There was no way she was risking getting mauled by wolves by staying in her car.

After a deep breath, Rai ran to the castle in the harsh rain, not looking back and reaching for the door as soon as she could.

[Darian]

(Hmmm... curiosity question... do you think Rai should end up in Yamiko's womb or stomach for all eternity? And do you want a motherly ghost, a lustful one... or both? Oh, also, I had an idea that perhaps Rai might not be the ghost's first victim... but we can have Rai be the first if you don't want to see a big bulge on the ghosts belly when she comes for Rai.)

The door stuckin the cold, the wood hinges creaking ominously before they gave way suddenly, opening wide into the darkness of the hall before her. It was... less cold inside, at least.

Deep within the house, something stirred. The lonely spirit of a young woman, sensing an intruder in her home once again...

(Hm...I'd say either stomach or womb. Maybe stomach, since it would freak her out some more. And maybe she could be motherly AND lustful? Or one or the other, whichever works. And while I'd love the idea of additional victims, what if instead, Rai was the first victim who didn't escape from her in time? Just a proposal.)

Entering the main foyer, Rai simply crawled up on the steps and sat down, shivering and dripping wet. "God, I feel like a wet dog..." She thought to herself before taking a quick whiff of herself. "Smell like one too." She'd sit there for the longest time, simply staring out into the rain. Rai checked her phone to see if she could get a signal...no dice. With a dissatisfied groan, she stood up and looked around in the darkness. "I wonder if this place has any towels..." She jokingly said aloud to herself.

[Darian]

The air in the palace was dry, and OLD. occasionally lightning lit up the windows, casting odd shadows.

Wait... it seems like there's a fire lit somewhere upstairs. deeper in the creepy house. there's light from above.

Someone has come. Someone has finally come again! She had despaired that she would ever find another to ease her loneliness.

She watches from beneath the stairwell. she can see the girl's odd shoes and dripping legs... oh the poor dear must be freezing. She longs to drag her into the shadow house, into herself... to confirm that she's real. a hand drifts slowly beneath the boards where Rai cannot see... reaching but not touching... out of sight... for now...

(Hmmm... stomach it is. I'll try to make the scene terrifying and a bit sexy.)

Still feeling pretty chilly, Rai grumbled and started up the staircase, walking up pretty slowly. She didn't feel any need to rush, and took her sweet time. Rai grumbled to herself as she felt herself being watched, but then disregarded the thought. Rai checked her phone again, to see if the signal was any better on this floor. Still nothing. Her friend, Avery, was going to be worried sick if she at least didn't tell him she was staying the night in an abandoned Japanese castle. Okay, he'd still be worried sick. But at least he'd know.

[Darian]

She watches as the girl moves deeper into the house. Into the shadows.
~oooooh, please stay... she can't bear to let another get away.

The house is occasionally lit from the lighting outside. The rooms are dilapidated... dusty, but full of blankets and not much else is whole. Rai might find something to dry off as she wanders toward the light. The windows cast squares of light in the walls with every flash.

After a couple flashes, Rai saw enough of the room to navigate around it a bit more confidently, and picked up a couple blankets...mats...whatever they were, and used them as a makeshift towel. She shook off water like a dog almost, chuckling lightly as she went a bit overboard with the shaking. Amusingly, Rai wasn't at all daunted by the scenario she was in. She was very adventurous, and never feared anything she'd ran into, or anything she'd possibly encounter.

But she'd never imagined she'd encounter anything like what she'd soon find.

[Darian]

As she walked back out of the room, heading toward the light, lightning struck again, casting a shadow through the door onto the wall in front of Rai. Her silhouette was briefly illuminated in a square of light on the wall in front of her.

As was the silhouette of another person, right next to her own.

She barely caught the silhouette out of the corner of her eye, and whipped around, looking around. Rai's first assumption was that she wasn't the only person here, and the thought that a poltergeist was following her never crossed her mind. "Hello? Is anyone there?" She called out curiously. "Come on, don't be a stranger!"

[Darian]

"Don't leave..."

Well, it probably was the wind. There was nobody at the window, after all. Probably should head right to that one light in the house.
She didn't see the eyes staring at her from beneath the bed she'd taken the blankets from.

[GeneticMess]

Rai looked a bit disappointed her suspicions had been false, and before she could think of anything else, she yawned. It was dark, she was tired, Rai was ready for some sleep. She walked over to the bed where she got the sheets, and dropped like a rock onto it. Covered in soggy blankets, she didn't seem to care less as she began to fall asleep, the rain's harsh pitter patter keeping her awake.

[Darian]

(Hohoooo! Didn't know she'd get so defenseless so fast!)

Slowly, ever so slowly, a hand began to reach out from underneath the side of the bed.

at the very foot of the bed, something began to crawl out. there was not a sound to be heard, until the lighting flashed, revealing a figure standing at the foot of the bed!

"<My child...>" she whispers in japanese.

Rai was laying face down on the bed, slowly looking up as she felt a chilling breeze fall over her. She saw the figure before her appear briefly in a flash of lightning, and for the first time, she actually felt a bit scared here. Her eyes shoot around nervously, unsure what to make of this unnatural. "L-like I said...don't be...a stranger..." She spoke weakly, saying what she said as if it was some way to convince her that what she suspected was happening wasn't.

[Darian]

Obviously, Rai has disregarded the phrase 'stranger danger' as a child.

The woman was tall, incredibly so. maybe she was six feet tall in life, but that was rare for those of Japanese blood. She wore a worn blue kimono so dark that it was almost black. her skin was shockingly white, and Rai could see that she was very beautiful, or at least well figured, with how the Kimono hung open in front, disheveled and revealing the woman's impressive cleavage and flat belly...

The woman has an increble amount of long black hair, that seems to trail down all the way to the floor behind her...

Other things were moving underneath the bed, though Rai didn't see them. other hands... though she hadn't noticed the one creeping toward her shoulder.

"<You're so pretty...>" the apparition whispers, though unless Rai knows japanese, she'll not understand a word of it...

The look on her face though... her EYES... they're so wide, so intense....

Slowly, the woman begins to loom over the bed, leaning, moving over Rai's feet then legs, her eyes locked on the girl's face.

(I could've sworn I already replied, so sorry! >_<)

Rai wanted to scream. She wanted to run. She wanted to take her chances with the damn wolves at this point. This woman...was a ghost. The one thing she feared, of course. Rai looked obviously uncomfortable as the apparition inched closer, and closer, and-...

She couldn't handle it. Breaking into tears of fear, she frantically tried to push the figure off of her and run. Rai didn't care if her car was broken anymore, she'd run the whole damn way home if she had to.

[Darian]

(it's cool man, stuff happens. Do you want to have Rai escape the bed and see more of Yamiko's creepy, or is she a ghostpet now?)

A cold, clammy hand grabs onto Rai's shoulder, forcing her back down onto the bed. a third hand? The ghost is still reaching longingly for her face with her arms... and then she sees other arms reaching out from her hair, and up from the sides of the bed.

"<stay, you must stay...>"

They begin to grab at her own arms and shoulders, trying to pin her to the bed as the ghost's wide blue eyes stare down at her, getting closer and closer!

[GeneticMess]

(Hmm, depends. If Rai becomes a ghostpet now, Avery should escape and see some more creepiness, or vice versa. Which should happen?)

[Darian]

(I planned on having Avery get a much more creepy treatment, what with finding Something of Rai's, and the creepy lit room where they tried to seal Yamiko. Then She'd chase him around and eventually drag him into the darkness of the 'shadow house' and show him Rai before... well, either re-uniting them or unbirthing him. Honestly, I'd unbirth Rai if it wouldn't be so creepy to have Yamiko open her mouth and show Avery where his friend ended up...

If Rai escapes, it'd only be a temporary thing, and she'd probably get caught going down the stairs or at the entrance: Yamiko can reach her feet from under the stairs.)

[GeneticMess]

(Hmm, alright, Rai will be done for first, and Avery can get the creepy treatment, then. I think it'd be a bit interesting if Avery gets shown where Rai is, before being unbirthed. From there, all three could communicate with each other in separate places.)

Rai thrashed and kicked hard, starting to scream out of desperation. With hand after hand after hand holding her down, she was quickly overpowered and could only struggle. Amidst the chaos, something on Rai's body rumbled and made an electronic noise. Somebody must be calling her, but Rai could've sworn there was connection here...maybe a weak signal let the call get through?
