Laughing, Lorelei replied, "I'm fine with fish. I don't want you to have to go to the trouble of preparing several dishes. How were you planning on cooking it? I'd be happy to lend a hand and prepare a side dish, but I don't want it to clash flavors."

Zane takes out some herbs and vegetables."Um...either fry or baked if that okay with you."he points over to the food cabinet."Fee free to use whatever you need to make your dish."he said as he brings out the fish

"Why don't you bake it and I'll make some garlic butter mashed potatoes?" Lorelei suggested, getting down a half a dozen large, yellow potatoes and filling a pot with water.

Zane nodes his head."Thats spunds great, maybe I should add some bellpeppers,onions, and garlic as well."he said as he toke all the yhings he needed out and starts to prepare for dinner

"Sounds excellent." Lorelei agreed as she put the potatoes in the pot and set it on the stove. She held with the school of thought that preferred mashed potatoes with the skin.

Zane looks at Lorelei with a smile."So do you think this be enough to fill your stomach?"he asks as this was not where near to the amount the elf had just eaten. He did remember there was dessert if she was still hungry after dinner

"Don't worry, I'll manage." Lorelei assured him. It wasn't long before the potatoes got to a boil, at which point the elf set a timer and started to get the other ingredients out. She put butter in a large bowl and set it near the stove so it'd warm up and soften. She also took out several cloves of garlic and started to peel them.

Zane got all his herbs and vegetables chopped up and ready to, no he just happen to season the fih with so spice rub before tossing them into a glass baking pan. He adding in the ingredients he prepared with the fish, laying them out nicely before taking out a couple lemon and squishing them in his hands."Hm...and that should do it."he said as turns on the over waits for the right temperature

About half an hour later, Lorelei had finished preparing the potatoes and the fish was out of the oven. "It smells delicious, Zane." She said.
