Violet awakens to the blinding sun bearing down on the beach from above, groaning in distaste. "Stupid umbrella," she grumbles, the wind having stolen her shelter, leaving her to bake in the sands, towel scrunches up under her sleek, slender rump. She reaches into her pocket, loose-fitting pants providing a little storage, while her upper half remained nearly bare, retrieving her phone and checking the time. "3PM... ugh," she rolls her eyes. "Usually heading home with a stomachful of something by now..."
The shark scans the beach, mostly barren, oddly enough, for a weekend. Apparently everyone had been scared off early by the clouds, even though they'd broken hours ago and made way for a mercilessly sunny day. Last thing she wanted was to go home and eat something there. A sandwich full of meat still didn't squirm enough for her liking. She'd give it another ten minutes, give or take - any longer risked getting cooked down here - ready to lure close and pounce the next unfortunate soul who emerged from the waves, or ran past her ravenous gaze.
