Valandil frowns. "I didn't think we were using magic." He'd move away from the spark, not trusting it in the least.

"this isn't magic." ranya said as the spark went over and touched him.... and flooded his body with so much energy it was like he had spent too long In the positive energy plane unprotected. "this is my ability. the abilty to steal energy from entropy and reuse it... this isn't magic. it ignores magic blocking, it bypasses magic defence.. it's just literally pure energy control. being on another dimensional layer aka phasing or so on doesn't block either."

"GAAAH!!!" Valandil growls and starts burning himself to try and counter the energy that was healing him.

ranya pulls back the spark to let him do so.

[sithlordnergal]

"That is a very cruel trick." He'd scowl. "You're lucky I know how to deal with different energy planes, that could have easily killed someone who wasn't prepared."

she frowned. "why do you think I was avoiding attacking til now?"

[sithlordnergal]

"Oh, you didn't realize I knew how to deal with the different energy planes?" The elf laughs. "Besides, this is a sparring session. I'm supposed to be practicing and training. It doesn't do much good to train if you use lethal attacks."

ranya twittered her thumbs at that statement.. not many of her attacks did non-lethal damage.

"You...don't really have anything that does non-lethal damage...do you?" The elf chuckles. "Well that's an easy enough fix. Just use a training sword, like I am."

ranya instead used her fist.

"...ok...first works I guess." Valandil takes his defensive stance again. "Come on then Ranya."

they continued sparring for an hour.

When they finally finish, Valandil would bow his head. "Thank you for the practice."

ranya smiled faintly. "welcome."

"Mmmm, I should go make some food for everyone. Though first I need to shower. I'll be back soon ladies." He'd head off to shower.

ranya left too.

When the elf finished, he'd start making a snack for himself, Hilda, and Ranya if she was there.

ranya had left.

Lyroo was happily snuggled inside, though she was feeling a bit hungry herself. She squirms some. "Say, mind if I have a bit of the food Valandil is making?"

hilda urped. "sure."
