“Alright Kyrar remember, keep breathing and push with the contractions.” Malila said as Kyrar continued her labor. Kyrar lost track of how long it was before it was done and Malila was carefully handing over her newborn child.

For the most part, Oran just went along with the contractions until being squeezed out into the open ocean.

As Kyrar cradled her newborn in her arms she was pleasantly surprised to see that she had a daughter.

“She’s beautiful,” Malila said as she swam up beside her friend, “Have you decided on a name for her?”

“I was thinking of naming her Cora. What do you think little one? Do you like that name?” Kyara asked her daughter.

(Sorry, was a bit distracted by life. How exactly does the unbirthing process work? Like, does Oran remember everything or is there just a blank slate?)

“Well, I’m sure you’ll warm up to it.” Kyrar said before kissing her daughter on her forehead.
