Kyrar lay floating on her back, basking in the warmth of the sun. Much of her silvery-white hair fanned out in the water that surrounded the mermaid as far as the eye could see. All she wore was a knotted blue cloth that covered her breasts, and a skirt made of seaweed that she thought looked nice against her blue-green fish tail.

The only break between the blue of the sky and ocean was a smudge of grey in the distance, an approaching storm.

Meanwhile, further below, was a man in a SCUBA suit. The suit's golden-brown color matched his skin perfectly as he used an advanced hand-held scanner to sweep over the bottom of the ocean floor. His bright green eyes were almost utterly impassive as they continued scanning the bottom of the ocean floor.

Then a light on his scanner started beeping, the scanner going from its abstract graph to a bright red screen saying 'WARNING: WEATHER ALERT. RETURN TO SHUTTLE'. For a moment, Oran looked up, trying to spot the storm, but it was just a little too far away. Thus, he started swimming back for his shuttle, just a little ways away.

An odd sound brought Kyrar out of her nap. “What was that?” she muttered as she dove beneath the surface, the sound definitely came from below. But given how far sound could travel underwater it could have come from just about anywhere. She gazed around in the clear water, listening intently in case the sound happened again.

Syler didn't see the mermaid, he was too focused on getting to his shuttle. He swam to the hatch on the top and easily popped it open. Slowly, he swam his way into the shuttle, which was filled with water as well. The console quickly booted up. As it did, the water drained out of the shuttle, replaced by air. Before Oran opened the throttle, the scanner beeped. There was a life form nearby. Oran's hand hovered over the button for silent mode, but he noticed the storm creeping up on him. It was now or never. Thus, the silver, ovular pod lifted off from the ocean floor.

Kyrar quickly noticed the large egg-shaped thing before it started rising. It’s smoothness and color amongst the rough red rock formations made it stand out. She swam closer to it, her curiosity overriding her caution.

The shuttle drifted upwards out of the ocean, then began to try and move upwards. However, its ascent had been slowed by the water's density, and by the time it had broke the surface, the storm had caught up with it. Soon, the craft started to bob back and forth.

Kyrar reluctantly stopped following the strange object as it reached the surface. Dangerous as it might be to be close to the strange silvery object, being near the surface during a storm was definitely dangerous. Even through the waves she could see lightning streaking across the sky.

Lightning struck the vessel, and it stopped in midair. Just as it started to move again, another bolt struck it. Finally, after a third lightning strike, the pod started to fall out of the sky, quickly picking up speed.

Seeing the pod falling back towards the water, Kyrar quickly swam out of the way to avoid the impact. Then as it started sinking she approached again, wondering why it returned.

The impact had caused a large crack to appear in the pod's exterior, and water quickly started rushing in. If Kyrar got closer, she could hear someone tugging at the hatch on the topside door.

Hearing the struggle near the top of the object peaked Kyrar’s curiosity even more. Was this thing some sort of egg? Swimming up to the top she saw the hatch and realized it wasn’t something made by nature. Which meant the noise she was hearing was someone inside trying to get out. She swam closer to the hatch, looking for how to operate it.

There was a tab on the hatch that was colored yellow, unlike the rest of the pod. Before she could pull the thing open, the hatch finally opened by itself. Oran quickly started swimming for the surface, without an air tank or his helmet. There were no gills on his neck or any other visible cue that he could breathe underwater.

Kyrar ducked behind the pod as the hatch popped open, spooked by how suddenly it happened. Is that a human? She wondered as she saw Oran swimming towards the surface. It didn’t take her long to realize he wasn’t going to make it, even if she helped the pod had sunken too deep.

Oran tried to claw his way upward, but his strokes were weakening. His face reddened and his eyes were bulging out. Soon, he had almost crawled to a halt.

There was really only one thing Kyrar could do to help the poor human, something she learned about from her mother a long time ago. She swam up to the human, bringing her waist level with his head. She gently but firmly grasped his head and pushed it into her sex. Bit by bit she pushed him into her. She bit on her lip, trying to ignore the wondrous sensations coming from her nethers as the human went inside, this was a serious situation after all.

The little bits of Oran's mind that remained were rather confused by Kyrar's actions. Her attempt to push his head into her vagina, however, was enough to stir up another round of struggles. These were too weak to do anything, owing to his by now conspicuous lack of oxygen. Thus, he just wriggled around as he was pulled inward.

Oh don’t do that. It’s hard enough to keep from enjoying this without you moving. Kyrar thought as the human wriggled weakly. Eventually his head would pass through the tight ring of her cervix. Inside her womb was enough space he could breathe, though the air was musky and salty.

As soon as Oran's head found air, his chest expanded in a mighty gasp. The musk and salt, however, quickly turned it into a series of coughs, causing him to spasm all over again.

Once the spasms from the coughing fit happened, Kyrar finally couldn’t hold it back anymore. She arched her back and let out a loud moan as the sensations from her sex overwhelmed her. She barely noticed as the young human’s legs and feet disappeared into her.

Oran continued to cough as all of himself was brought in, something that only stopped once he was curled up inside her womb. Then he opened his eyes and started looking around. "Wha-what's going on?" he wheezed. "What did you do?"
