Vore Tribes

Postby SakuraHanaryuu » Sat Apr 22, 2017 9:11 pm

I have a few ideas for an RP basis, several themes come to mind mainly with the theme of 'lost in a fantasy world', the conscept is based off of the game Horizon Zero Dawn(I'm actually featuring this game on my youtube channel atm).

Rather than choose the world myself, I think this time I'll let everyone build the world together and see what happens.

At its base, there are several tribes(different species welcome) in a post-apocalyptic world, conflicts are unavoidable, the strongest tribe is recovering from a mad ruler which was recently overthrown. Tribes can have any theme but their theme will be reflected by where they live, so you make the tribe then imagine where they come from and viola, new lands on the map. I find the best place to look for inspiration is in what the tribe worships, the sun, fire, commerce, metal, animals, plants, ect, I think I'll make a tribe that worships food personally XD Buncha piggy drgns bowing before some poor sod about to be roasted XD

[Tribe Creation]

[Tribe Name]:
[Tribe Idol/deity]: (probably something elemental, fire, sky, earth. It doesn't have to be worshiped but their culture will be based around this idea or substance.)
[Ranking System]: (should be around 2-5 different ranks, if your having trouble tell me and I'll handle it)
[Tribe Specialties]: (Unique items or skills your tribe has, should be from 3-5 different unique traits)
[Tribe Flaw]: (Name at least one flaw of your tribe, for example Stubbornness(often comes with greed), Zellotry(mad with worship of their god, probably sacrifices people), Gullibility, Exclusivistic(no one comes on mah lawn!), and Unadaptable(Probably so smitten with their own old customs they can't progress in the changing world)

[World development section]
*In HZD the world is inhabited by robotic animals, from dinosaurs to horses. But this will be our own world, You as the players will be able to put your ideas into creating this world and your ideas may influence the other tribes and players. (Its a "lets throw this in the soup and see what happens" kind of thing). My only rule is 'No Magic', with that said there are sciences that can seem like magic, and science-fantasy resources like metals, or herbs with special properties, are welcome so long as its a part of the world and anyone can access the resource so long as they have the knowledge and tools to harvest it from the world.*

With all that said, HAVE A BLAST!
A Fat Drgn is a Happy Drgn!

-=-=-=-=-[RP ENCYCLOPEDIA]-=-=-=-=-
[Cannon Tribes]:

Rockbiter [Okako]: Human Tribe
Spoiler: show
[Tribe Name]: Rockbiter, or Okako, depending on your preference.
[Tribe Idol/deity]: Ferrum, the god of metal
[Ranking System]: Chief, Champion, Elder, average tribemember
[Tribe Specialties]: Mining and smelting.
[Tribe Flaw]: Seclusivity and paranoia. Rarely will they let other come close to their camp as they don't want their secrets exposed.

Dahuut: Crystal Dragon Tribe
Spoiler: show
[Tribe Name]: Dahuut
[Dominant Species]: Crystal Dragons
[Tribe Idol/deity]: Lai-hai Goddess of Light

[Ranking System]:
Brightlord, (Leader, chosen by the thanes)
Thane, (Thanes must pass the trial of Lai-hai, and bring one of her scales down from the mountains peak)
Hunter, (Lightlings may once a year take the Hunters trial, competing against each other, the top five are named hunters, young outcasts may take this trial if they pass they are outcasts no more.)
Lightling, (Most Dahuut are lightlings, those who have not passed the hunters trial. They are not glorious but are not shamed either)

[Tribe Specialties]:
Bright-stone: A crystal found in the northern mountains, used to make tools, weapons, and armor, because it shines in daylight it is used in all manner of worship, it flashes whenever struck and can blind foes unused to the bright light, when held to a torch, it can amplify the light giving better lighting in caves, for this it is highly valued by merchants.

Berzerker: The Dahuut are a Berzerker tribe, they hunt with fury and passion. Preferring two handed weapons crafted of polished Bright-stone and pine wood. They love to fight to better themselves, and their rights of passage are designed to test themselves against each other and the wrath of nature. Their armor is made from a combination of thick animal furs, and woven Bright-stone shards.

Resistance to cold: Living in the frozen north has made the Dahuut resistant to freezing from any source, they can swim in ice water without pain or issue for extended periods of time, and weather even the terrors of blizzards...but they still fear and respect the terrible avalanch as death incarnate.

[Tribe Flaw]: Gullibility: Due to their Berzerk nature, the Dahuut can be swindled, suckered, and comically tricked with relative ease so long as they are not on the battlefield. Berzerkers control their rage and tactically channel immense strength from it. However when not enraged or excited the lack of adrenaline makes them vulnerable.

Attana: Naga Tribe
Spoiler: show
[Tribe Name]: The Atana
[Tribe Idol/deity]: Pattia the snake goddess. A mother goddess, Earth based, primarily focused on bounty, both for the hunt and fertility.
[Ranking System]: Chief, hunter, scout, courtesan/courtier (this status isn't entirely the same as it's traditional meaning. It's more of a tribal standing for any outsiders brought into the tribe, as their primary role would be as a mate to one of the warriors, until the outsider can prove themselves worthy of a higher status in the tribe.)
[Tribe Specialties]: Being partially snake they have long powerful tails that put them on par or above even the strongest creatures strengthwise. They have heat vision (pit glands) so they can sense their prey even in the dark. Surprisingly stealthy, these hunters use their human upper bodies to lure in their prey much the way sirens or succubi are known to, their tails also allow for quick and quiet movement through the forest and other environments making these large predators surprisingly sneaky and effective hunters.
[Tribe Flaw]: The tribe has been stubborn and exclusive for a long time, leading to its current declining state. Now they need to overcome this negative image the outside world has of them to begin to form bonds with other tribes if they hope to survive and keep their tribe from gradually dying out.

Cheekatu: Rat Tribe
Spoiler: show
[Tribe Name]: Cheekatu (the rat people)
[Tribe Idol/deity]: Shi-shi the Rat goddess of secrets and trickery.
[Ranking System]: Speaker, Listener, Keeper, Squeaker
[Tribe Specialties]: Masters of secrecy, Streetwise,
[Tribe Flaw]: Cleptomania (Compulsive Theivery), Diminutive size(Cheekatu are usually about the size of a housecat, with the acception of the sea rat clan who are as large as golden retrievers, and known for skill at sea, the worship of the sea goddess Wawashi, and salty language.)

Lacertus: Lizard-Man Tribe
Spoiler: show
[Tribe Name]: Lacertus
[Tribe Idol/deity]:
they're culture is derived from the wilderness, and the many aspects of nature. Aside from this, their culture also revolves around and has a fascination with the concept of life itself. Not entirely pacifistic, as they will take life if necessary, but only if provoked, as they view unnecessary loss of life as a waste of the reality all living things reside in. They will do what they can to avoid taking life, even going so far as to swear themselves to a life of vegetarianism.
[Ranking System]:
"Ruler"*: the unspoken, unquestioned, unnamed leader of a group. They need not be addressed by a formal, or any name, for they are recognized by their people as the one in charge regardless. There are a vast amount of them across the tribe, and one is assigned to each group. They're lineage is supposedly passed down from the survivors of an event that brought the tribe to near extinction, although not even they themselves know what this event is. They can be identified by their pure black robes and red and white full face mask.
blog/download/download_id-1638.html
The boundaryless: a rare few members assigned the task of searching territory far outside their groups camp and scouting potential allies, enemies, resources etc. this is considered a massive honour. The tribe lives mostly in solitude, and these people see things the others couldn't even fathom. Before they are sent out, however, they are formally temporarily banished from the tribe, as a quarantine of sorts, and can only reclaim their place among the others once they come back with useful information, affectively completing their mission. Until then, they are unwelcome, despite still being honoured among the others.

The honoured: a general term used to refer to soldiers, scouts, guards and any other members of high class military and such
blog/download/download_id-1639.html
The welcome: the villagers and civilians, who make up the economy and society among the various groups. They are essentially a combination of the middle and lower class. Among them reside various shopkeepers, servants etc. and, very notably, skilled brewers, making this tribe relatively known for it's fine drink.
[Tribe Specialties]:
they're primarily, if not all, reptilian. despite this, they have sworn off the consumption of meat and, as a sign of respect, wear simple masks covering their mouths to show this. Despite their cold blooded appearance, a large majority of them reside in cold climate (primarily snowy evergreen forests and such) with little to no negative impact to their health. Rather than traditional weaponry, it's customary for them to instead have blades built into their armour and avoid using much else for combat (aside from retractible claws, and a large organic spike on their elbow). They are skilled in combat, but refrain from doing so unless provoked. They are somewhat known for their fine alcohol and brewers, though this is not their main export. For outside commerce, they tend to rely on a small, rare fern, which is known to be an affective medicine and healing source, often used in tea's.
[Tribe Flaw]:
are overly accepting and forgiving, making them somewhat vulnerable. They're also extremely sparse and the few that they're are are fairly spread out, making it hard to rely on each other for support

Sandeesh: Mole Tribe
Spoiler: show
First the prey: A race of short, stocky mole people. About half the size of humans, these adorable little near sighted critters are weak and cowardly, with the exception of their steel hard claws, which they can use to literally chip away tunnels of rock through the earth over time. To be clear, they do this over time and with numbers and great endurance, rather than cleaving rock by sheer force.
[Tribe Name]: Sandeesh, meaning Small Diggers in their tongue.
[Tribe Idol/deity]: They worship two gods equally. Bandoldeesh, the Great Digger, a god of earth, and Olshinzi, the god of darkness(Though they are forced to worship Olshinzi)
[Ranking System]: There are few ranks among slaves, but each group of workers(usually two or three families of approx 10-15 sandeesh) has a representative, labeled a Baldeesh, or Head Digger.
[Tribe Specialties]: Wonderful sense of smell and hearing, and their dagger like claws can be used to cut through steel as if it were butter. Physically tough, their short bristles like iron wool and their thick hide like a rippling cloak of iron.
[Tribe Flaw]: Naturally Cowardly and submissive.
The Sandeesh are a meek and easily controlled people, any back bone bred out of them many years ago by their masters, the Joldans. They are used as slaves and a food source to carve out tunnels and gather raw resources for the Joldan and Boulderheart Tribes.

BoulderHeart: Mechanoid Tribe
Spoiler: show
The Warriors: A group of sentient machine people, created millenia ago by lost technology. These creature eat literally solid rock and minerals. They were peacefully living in isolation underground until the Joldan's discovered them and manged to repair and reprogram them to be subservient.

[Tribe Name]: Boulderheart
[Tribe Idol/deity]: None, they still remember their creators, as each Boulderheart is still one of the originals that was made millennia ago.
[Ranking System]: There are three models of Boulderheart, though each is technically the same rank: Molten Claw, Mawed Demon, and Sweepers
[Tribe Specialties]: Practically indestructible monsters of a lost industrial complex. These creatures are essentially sentient and re purposed mining equipment. The Joldan's have heavily modified them from their original purposes, and their rudimentary modifications to the normally gentle giants get more sophisticated as as the evil bug people learn more about the huge automatons.
[Tribe Flaw]: Utterly Simple Minded. They are sentient and have free will, but the Joldan's removed any intelligence from the huge brutes early on, if they ever had any. They are capable of following simple commands and have excellent memories, but they just don't really try to think for themselves. Luckily, they can be outsmarted by simply engaging in conversation, and they have trouble harming anything that looks human, for some reason, but will still murder scores of humans if it is a Joldan's direct command.

Joldan: Man-Scoripion Tribe
Spoiler: show
The Overlords: The Joldans are hideous and gruesome monsters of claw and teeth and terror. The best way to describe them is roughly human sized insect of horror, though a little smaller actually. they have eight arms and four legs, each of their four pairs of arms having a different purpose, not to mention a tiny pair of concealed insect wings that can allow them to glide short distances or jump higher than normal, but not outright fly. From the top down, their arms grow in size and strength, the tops pair being a simple pair of tiny stalks jutting out of their 'shoulders'. Each of these little arms can spray or shoot a deadly acid that can erode stone and flesh alike a short distance, or disperse it as a gas to cause terrible chocking and watering eyes in a short radius, not unlike bear mace. The next set, their more 'human' arms are just that, tipped with delicate human like fingers, this is usually where they grasp weapons or tools. The third row or arms are much longer than the rest, multi jointed and whip-like. Each is tipped with a short dagger like natural blade, which they often coat in their acid before a conflict. The last set of arms is a short pair of crab like claws that can crush meat and bone with ease. It can bend soft or thin metal, like armour, crushing the contents inside, so the final attack of these almost demonic creatures is to pull their prey into the 'grasp of doom' and cut them in half with the lowest limbs, though they only do this as a last resort when in intesne combat, as they prefer to torture and devour their prey alive.

These abominations are the result of a military program to creature the perfect bio-weapon assassin and are hyper-intelligent and very malevolent predators. They devoured whatever race was foolish enough to create them, and after many years as nomads, came upon the Sandeesh and Boulderhearts, who they quickly bent to their will and now use as tools, soldiers, pets, and food.

[Tribe Name]: Joldan Collective, so named for their long dead creator.
[Tribe Idol/deity]: Olshinzi, the God of Darkness, they also force the Sandeesh to worship him as well.
[Ranking System]: Joldan's run an almost communistic society. Their numbers are small, only a few dozen, so they simply cooperate amongst themselves and make decisions as a whole. As much as they are despicably evil to everything that is not a Joldan, they are steadfast and loyal in regards to all other Joldans. The insects value their own lives and the lives of other Joldans above all else.
[Tribe Specialties]: Other than the limbs previously described, the Joldan's have a tough outer shell that deflects most hand held weapons, but is far from invincible. They are, however, bullet proof as well as laser and plasma resistant. They also have the ability to eat creatures whole, even things up to three times their size! They look like a bloated tick when so full with a meal, but can still move around using their arms as extra legs.
[Tribe Flaw]: Can not stand direct sunlight(though it doesn't harm them) and are extremely arrogant. They are intelligent and cunning, but they always assume everything will go their way, and that they are the smartest and strongest. They don't usually pick fights with larger creatures, but they always secretly assume they'll be able to best such a creature, either through brains or their acid or some combination of speed and violence. They're also ugly as sin and have limited physical endurance. They're designed assassins, not warriors.

[Cannon Characters]:

Nala of the Dahuut
Spoiler: show
[Name and Tribe]: Nala, of the Dahuut Tribe
[Species]: Crystal Dragon (Anthro)
[Sex]: Female
[Age]: 25
[Vore/Partner Preferences]: Switch leaning towards pred, Nala will not do Scat, Dirty anal, or Watersports, she is fine with anything else.

-[Bio]-
[Short Version]
Spoiler: show
[Backstory]: Nalamut was born as princess of the Dahuut, She grew strong, as if blessed by Lai-hai herself. But also arrogant from the praise her parents gave her. Amut her father wanted her to become a Thane. Amut knew she had the willpower...but he was wrong. Lai-hai, a celestial white dragon, crushed Nalamut at the mountains peak and broke her wings...the glory of the Dahuut was now shamed...and she could not return. Broken by the fury of her own deity. She now goes simply by Nala, feeling unworthy of her full name.

[Character Description]: Nala is quite tomboyish, she thinks with her muscles and acts swiftly to prove her might makes her right. Wrapped in bright-stone scale mail, grey Mammoth fur, and bearing a mighty Bright-stone warhammer. She despises herself for her failures, and is prone to throwing fits of rage. Though she is calmed before those that she cares for.

Nala possesses a muscular Anthro body, sturdy and stout, with an ample chest and a heavy backside(you all know me), She has no wings unlike other dragons, just stubbs where they were cut off.

Nalas' scales are ivory white, but her belly is covered in bright green crystal scutes (A scute is just a big scale), Her tail is tipped with a heavy claw which resembles a club when balled into a fist. Her horns are made of the same green crystal that makes up her belly scutes. two blade like horns that twist ornately from her crown, and a single tall crest jutting up from her crowns peak.

Her gloves and boots while elegant are on the heavy side, with the knee length coat cut to fit to her belt, from the waste up her clothes are lighter and more decorative, with white leather and green embroidery. Around her neck is a long string of crystal beads and polished seal fangs. Her white hair is braided into a fine ornate mane decorated with colorful beads red ropes and trinkets.

[Long Version]
Spoiler: show
[Backstory]: Nalamut was born as princess of the Dahuut, daughter to Brightlord Amut, and his wife Kitu. She grew strong, as if blessed by Lai-hai herself. But also arrogant from the praise her parents gave her. Eventually she began to come of age, and quickly earned her right as a hunter, and she was content, her father however, wanted her to become a Thane. Amut knew she had the willpower to challenge the mountain and reach its peak, to face Lai-hai and bring back one of her scales...but he was wrong. Lai-hai, a celestial white dragon, one of the ancients, crushed Nalamut at the mountains peak and flung her away back down its ridged flank...luckily she landed in a great snow drift, which cushioned her death drop...but also broke her wings...the glory of the Dahuut was now shamed...and she could not return. Thus she left her homeland, ashamed of her failure, covered in scars from Lai-hai's claws, and her spirit broken by the fury of her own deity. Now she goes simply by Nala, feeling unworthy of her full name.

[Character Description]: Nala is quite tomboyish, she thinks with her muscles and acts swiftly to prove her might makes her right. Wrapped in an armored grey Mammoth fur coat, and bearing a mighty Bright-stone warhammer, she is as imposing as the Dahuut come. Her emotions however are in conflict, she despises herself for her failures, and is prone to throwing fits of rage. Though she is calmed before those that she cares for.

Nala possesses a muscular Anthro body, sturdy and stout, with an ample chest and a heavy backside(you all know me), Her once beautiful crystal wings however, had to be severed as they grew infected on her trip down the mountain to its base, their a villiage of outcasts did the deed, the medicine man said it must be done, and the princess of wonders would never sail the skies again.

Nala remembers all the lessons her father Amut told her, how to find Bright-stone, and use it in crafting. How bright-stone grows overtime so she should plant shards in bare mountain caves for the future. Where to find the best trees for arrow shafts, and hammer hafts, and most importantly, how to hunt. The princess carries several tools on her, her long handled war hammer is her heaviest, with a great bright-stone head, one side smooth and flat, and the other covered in sharp shards ideal for ripping apart flesh. Her bright-stone axe for felling trees, and her Bright-stone Dagger, for carving up kills and preparing all manner of items.

Nalas' scales are ivory white, but her belly is covered in bright green crystal scutes (A scute is just a big scale), her wings were made almost entirely of thin feather like crystals but they have long since been severed from her body at the joints Mere stubbs remain below her shoulders, where the wings once connected. Her tail is tipped with a heavy claw which resembles a club when balled into a fist. Her horns which regrow very quickly are made of the same green crystal that makes up her belly scutes. two blade like horns that twist ornately from her crown in the classical dragon fashion, and a single tall crest jutting up from her crowns peak, resembling twin wings that meet together at the top.

Her gloves and boots while elegant are on the heavy side, leather made from mammoth hide being thick as it is, with the knee length coat cut to fit to her belt, from the waste up her clothes are lighter and more decorative, with white leather and green embroidery. Around her neck is a long string of crystal beads and polished seal fangs, as seal is her favorite meat. Her white hair is braided into a fine ornate mane decorated with colorful beads red ropes and trinkets, but she no longer wears the stone of Lai-hai a carved rock in the shape of the great white dragons face.

Minoa of the Atana
Spoiler: show
[Name and Tribe]: Minoa Atana, Minoa of the Atana tribe.
[Species]: Naga, specifically Gorgon
[Sex]: Female
[Age]: 19
[Vore/Partner Preferences]: Pred, gentle, same nots as Sakura
[Backstory]: Minoa is a skilled tribe hunter. Excellent with a bow, though prefers to handle things close up, using her powerful tail. Having reached maturity and proven herself a skilled and valuable hunter Minoa was allowed to leave the tribal lands to search for a mate and hopefully inspire other outsiders to consider relations with their tribe.

Even though she knows she's supposed to make a good impression, it's difficult to ignore her warrior instincts, and she finds that small things easily set her off. Learning to be friendly and sociable is difficult indeed.

[Character Description]: Being a Gorgon, Minoa has a bit more going for her than just a normal Naga, aside from the powerful tail and other neat snake features, she has a Gorgon glare at her disposal. Most people would recognize Medusa as a Gorgon, and know the story of how her look could turn you to stone, well that's not how it actually works. If minoa were to use her glare, it triggers an intense fear reaction in her prey that results in their muscles tightening up and their thoughts becoming scattered. While her prey is paralyzed with fright she can do what she needs.

Physically, Minoa is very attractive, which actually isn't that uncommon in her tribe due to their nature, she has large breasts, long red hair, and curvy hips which lead to a 30 foot long black tail covered in smooth diamond shaped scales. As far as clothing goes, somewhat limited due to lower body being a tail. Usually something simplistic and tunic like or a dress. More night then than not though, a simple warrior's tunic with a shoulder guard and quiver for bow and arrows. Her mouth is more snake than human, her teeth are sharp and serated, she has two large fangs that can flip down when necessary, and she has a long slender snake tongue so more often than not she will avoid opening her mouth too wide when first meeting someone to avoid frightening them too much.

Jul of the Rockbiters
Spoiler: show
[Name and Tribe]: Jul, Rockbiter
[Species]: Human
[Sex]: Male
[Age]: 27
[Vore/Partner Preferences]: Female predators, oral vore
[Backstory]: He is the son of a champion, but he has never excelled in anything. He feels the desire to do something memorable, but is unsure how.
[Character Description]: 5'8 feet tall, lean and not particularly strong. Shortsighted, rough blonde hair that is cut short with a knife.
Favourite quote: "Did you know that my tribes favourite animal is the porcupine?"

Voide of the Lacertus
Spoiler: show
[Name and Tribe]: Voide, Lacertus
[Species]: ((humanoid reptilian? Anthro lizard? Is there an already existing creature like this? Does speaking in general work? Lets just say it's a new species))
[Sex]: Male
[Age]: his culture doesn't measure in years, but he appears around 20~30
[Vore/Partner Preferences]: strictly female preds. I make a slight exception to male dragons (for some reason). Open to ov, av and ub, but not much else. I'm mostly, but not always, unwilling.
[Backstory]: is a boundaryless (explorer/outcast) of the Lacertus, who has been unable to return for many years, and has become much more aggressive as a result of this, although he still follows most of his traditions, just not as openly. Still seems open and forgiving for an average person, but he's far away from the openness of the rest of his tribe
[Character Description]:a reptilian humanoid figure of average height and fairly muscular build. He's covered in green scales and has a yellow underbelly. There are spines lining the back of his head which are slightly webbed together, although because he's almost always hooded, these are rarely seen. He wears what appears to have previously been a cloak, which is now shredded immensely, the hood of which goes up over his head most of the time. He has never removed his mask, which covers his mouth and nose (picture something kinda like a biker bandana) although now it's used more for intimidation rather than respect. Aside from this, he still uses his tribes armour, which has large blades coming out for combat, most notably on the forearm and shoulder. he mostly uses these as his only tools or weapons, in an attempt to stay true to his culture. As for his personality, he appears at first glance to be a shady, menacing figure shrouded in darkness, but if approached he'll prove to be fairly friendly, if cautious, but he can still be easily menacing and physically offensive when provoked

Marx of the Joldan
Spoiler: show
[Name and Tribe]: M-2-21, or Marx(All Joldan's use names similar to the code names of their ancestors) of the Joldan Collective
[Species]: Joldan
[Sex]: Male, though there is almost no difference between male and female Joldan
[Age]: 37 years, which is about 20% of his life expectancy.
[Vore/Partner Preferences]: Predator 100%. Prefers Female prey, but will eat most anything. I'm willing to allow him to be slain and eaten, but he will not be taken alive, and it will not be a pretty or easy fight. He's also more likely to flee than fight to the death.
[Backstory]: Marx was a valuable member of the collective from an early age, even before his chitin had hardened, he was deciphering Boulderheart runes that had stumped his elders for years. He was not content with the cozy life of slave overlords that his kin enjoyed, lives of simple, but unchallenged peace. He wanted to feel the thrill of discovering new and interesting meals, test his might against more impressive creatures than the pathetic Sandeesh. He convinced the others to allow him to leave the Collective and gather information about the world above, the surface. He would gather knowledge and resources for his people, and he would return a conqueror!

[Character Description]: Marx travels in a thick cloak of unidentifiable animal pelts. Many different ones, stitched together, neatly, but still strangely. He ensures not an inch of his body is showing, wrapping his head and arms in tight, silk bandages, looking sort of like a human leper at a glance. His four, beady red eyes are always covered by thick, dark crystal goggles, making him look like some diseased human, the only indication he wasn't was the irregular click of his insect feet against the ground and the unnaturally stead way he moved his body about, his gait much smoother on four legs instead of two.

Only the outer wall remains standing in the wake of her gluttonous vengeance. As she has been neglected of worshipers none can remember this oldest of the dark gods. The highest peak is Lai-hais' mountain where the white dragon of light Lai-hai dwells, she occaisionally comes down from the mountain in search of food but a spring at the peak means she is not required to come down unless food is scarce. It is said, that thunder is her ultimate prank unto mortals always reminding them that they are as mice to the gods.

Bandoldeesh the Earth God
Symbol, Ornate Stone with silver cracks

represented by the silver cracks in his ornate stone symbol.

Olshinzi the God of Darkness
Symbol, clawed hand holding an eyeball.
Spoiler: show

Ok, took a while, trying to think of something fun to fit in a vore setting that would be unique and allow a lot of possibilities, but, think I got something. An Amazonian style tribe of naga hunters. Not hunters who hunt nagas, nagas who are skilled hunters.

As far as specific details for all that stuff, still working out some kinks, but, general overview...

The tribe has been somewhat isolated for obvious reasons, for a long time this wasn't a problem as being secretive and hunting or seeking out mates when they needed to was working fine. However now, as the land is becoming more barren and populations are decreasing, their old fashioned Hunter lifestyle is no longer working. They need to begin to reach out, to change their image from fierce isolated hunters who would just as soon eat you as look at you, to a sociable society willing to barter and trade, and accept other species into their fold to continue to breed and repopulate. The society isn't entirely female, however the birth rate is higher for female nagas than males, so to continue their society with healthy genetic diversity they need to begin to form bonds with other tribes and break the stigma that they're nothing more than violent antisocial warriors.
Of course old habits are hard to break and theirs is a culture strong on tradition, so this hasn't been a particularly smooth or easy transition.

That's the idea for now, any thoughts?

(Courtesy of Bright, I added the traditional name)

Rockbiter [Okako] Tribe

[Tribe Name]: Rockbiter, or Okako, depending on your preference.
[Tribe Idol/deity]: Ferrum, the god of metal
[Ranking System]: Chief, Champion, Elder, average tribemember
[Tribe Specialties]: Mining and smelting.
[Tribe Flaw]: Seclusivity and paranoia. Rarely will they let other come close to their camp as they don't want their secrets exposed.

-=-=-=-=-
(To Sabi's post)

Name suggestions for the Naga Tribe: Co'anga, Rempa, Jumana, Lekoto.

Idol/deity suggestions: Serpents are often associated with Avarice(Greed) and rebirth, realistically their one of the few creatures capable of vore, thus the avericious nature, greedy bellies. And they shed their skin hence the rebirth relation. Perhapse the Naga clan should value legacy. What they leave behind for the next generation.

Alternatively, they could worship the hunt itself. In which case they could be very successful with the hunters lodge. (the strongest Tribe whichever that turns out to be, will possess the hunters lodge, an organization completely dedicated to the aknowledgement of skilled hunting. These are the guys that go looking to hunt down giants like Trex, Leviathans, and Thunder-birds.*

Snakes can be found in just about every warm environment in the world from deserts to marshlands to forests and of coarse Jungles. I'll wait to determine this tribes Home, but this also allows me to decide my own tribes home, I shall take the frozen north. As Naga blood would freeze in the icy mountains...but crystal dragons with their flaming hearts, would not. As expected others have delivered to me my inspiration.

[Character Creation]

-=-=-=-=-
[Tribe Creation]

[Tribe Name]: Dahuut
[Dominant Species]: Crystal Dragons
[Tribe Idol/deity]: Lai-hai Goddess of Light

[Ranking System]:
Spoiler: show
Brightlord, (Leader, chosen by the thanes)
Thane, (Thanes must pass the trial of Lai-hai, and bring one of her scales down from the mountains peak)
Hunter, (Lightlings may once a year take the Hunters trial, competing against each other, the top five are named hunters, young outcasts may take this trial if they pass they are outcasts no more.)
Lightling, (Most Dahuut are lightlings, those who have not passed the hunters trial. They are not glorious but are not shamed either)

[Tribe Specialties]:
Bright-stone:
Spoiler: show
A crystal found in the northern mountains, used to make tools, weapons, and armor, because it shines in daylight it is used in all manner of worship, it flashes whenever struck and can blind foes unused to the bright light, when held to a torch, it can amplify the light giving better lighting in caves, for this it is highly valued by merchants.

Berzerker:
Spoiler: show
The Dahuut are a Berzerker tribe, they hunt with fury and passion. Preferring two handed weapons crafted of polished Bright-stone and pine wood. They love to fight to better themselves, and their rights of passage are designed to test themselves against each other and the wrath of nature. Their armor is made from a combination of thick animal furs, and woven Bright-stone shards.

Resistance to cold:
Spoiler: show
Living in the frozen north has made the Dahuut resistant to freezing from any source, they can swim in ice water without pain or issue for extended periods of time, and weather even the terrors of blizzards...but they still fear and respect the terrible avalanch as death incarnate.

[Tribe Flaw]: Gullibility:
Spoiler: show
Due to their Berzerk nature, the Dahuut can be swindled, suckered, and comically tricked with relative ease so long as they are not on the battlefield. Berzerkers control their rage and tactically channel immense strength from it. However when not enraged or excited the lack of adrenaline makes them vulnerable.

-=-=-=-=-
[World development section]:

Spoiler: show
The northern regions of the map are frozen mountains, that overlook all other regions, from the slope one can see far and wide, though snow storms can sometimes prevent ones sight. The highest peak is Lai-hais' mountain where the white dragon of light Lai-hai dwells, she occaisionally comes down from the mountain in search of food but a spring at the peak means she is not required to come down unless food is scarce. It is not uncommon for Lai-hai to eat those of the Dahuut who would be thanes, many crystal dragon bones and clothes decorate the cliffs below her home, regurgitated after their owners perished in their deities belly.

Brightstone crystal can be found in caves within the northern regions, the lower caves are usually searched by merchants and mined clean from their greed, the Dahuut actively try to replenish the supply by planting brightstone shards to replace them, but greed prevents the supply from flourishing at the mountains base. Higher caves however are well guarded by the beasts of the mountain, and the Dahuut themselves, as brightstone is crucial to their survival and their religious practices.

Dahuut are known for being brutes, commonly seen as strong but dim witted, while this is true in some cases there are occasionally acceptions to this, specifically those who have suffered for their dim wit and become more cautious or more aware than their kin.

Tribe Creation]

Character Creation]

[World Development]:
Their traditional lands are heavily wooded, their people making their homes in a variety of places. Some make houses up in the trees, some under the ground in converted caves, etc. Since they can easily climb extreme heights with their tails it's very difficult for outsiders to reach their tree homes without assistance making them very safe places to rest and hide. The tribe is located in a fairly isolated and dense forest to the southwest for it's normally warm-moderate temperature and the difficulty for non-naga folk to get to it, though they can basically handle any area as long as it's relatively warm otherwise they may go into a state of hibernation.

Still waiting on AMCJavelin, Pool(deadpoolfan) and Bright.

Bright has already established a tribe but no character yet.

(If anyone decides they don't want to play after all simply say so, I will not hold it against you and I understand that this is quite a bit of buildup compared to what we normally see on Ekas. Remember you can always make a character within another players tribe if you don't feel up to creating a whole tribe yourself, we already have three tribes in place.)

Postby SakuraHanaryuu » Mon Apr 24, 2017 7:11 pm

(Alright, We have enough players to start things up, sorry it took so long for me to post today, grandparents needed me to do some heavy lifting)

Sakura - Nala Dahuut: A dishonored princess of the light dragons from the frozen northern mountains. (Switch leaning towards pred)
Deity: Lai-hai Dragon goddess of Light, Truth, and Clarity.

Sabi - Minoa Atana: A Gorgon Naga huntress of the seclusive Atana tribe of the Southern jungle (Pred)
Deity: Pattia Snake Goddess of Earth, the Hunt, and Fertility.

Bright - Jul Rockbiter: A Human sired by a champion of the Rockbiter clan of the Western Desert. (Prey, prefers female preds, Oral only)
Deity: Ferrum Human god of metal and substance.

(First Event: The center of power. In horizon zero Dawn the center of power was with the Carja tribe who built a great city of stone and metal. This RP will center around the creation of such a city but it will take all tribes to accomplish this, Vore can be done freely and reformation systems are assumed in place. I shall start us off below and include a link to a map of the HZD landscape to better display the regions of the RPs lands.)

Map Link(More lands can be added as we go): https://static1.gamespot.com/uploads/or ... xoepoc.jpg
(I'm personally hoping for a water faring tribe based on a great lake to the south west.)

-=-=-=-=-
Begining scene
[Old Teka'numo] Heart of the central desert.

*Old Teka was an old, old place, created by outcasts and those who abandoned their tribes. This was a town where people could gather, its lands were rough and harsh, a desert, that would wither those who did not know how to survive its landscape. Nala had come here to procure a new Tark, a stone ram, a goat as large as a horse, as hardy an animal as they come, she had been gathering Brightstone and resources for a long time, and intended to trade with the Tekians in exchange for the steed, as she walked through the dirt road leading up to the town market she noticed a group of Korinth, the werewolf tribe of the secluded southern mountains, eyeballing her...the Korinth had a bad reputation for a reason, and the Dahuut never got along with them well...whats more their quarrels and fights occured so often that this group might even recognize Nala. The crystal dragoness was quick to avoid them and carried on her way...*

*The Rockbiter tribe, being naturally gifted merchants, thrived in Old Teka. The human tribe making up the majority of the business in town. After all, why not? Business was good here, and if there was one thing humans did well, it was haggle. The currency of the land was called the Talon, triangular coins of stone, silver, or gold. secretly minted right here in Old Teka where the great desert bank, carved right into the mountains face lay. Fifteen stone talons would get you three meals and a place to sleep, a deer was worth one silver talon, which was worth one hundred stone talons. Most of the great beasts(Truck sized) were worth ten silver talons but a giant could fetch a hunter an entire gold talon if sold at the right place, enough to live off of for a whole year. There were also places catering to the predatory tribes needs, where live prey could be bought and sold, these were people who tried to steal or cheat with fake talons, generally breaking the rules. A live meal went for about five talons, sometimes more for larger prey, while a standard meal was about three talons. Still many pay the extra price for the feeling of devouring live prey.*

*After a few talks, Nala found a buyer for her bright-stone, and set in haggling with an old Rockbiter merchant, she was a bit witch-like but she knew her stuff...and the town guards with their iron reinforced leather armor and war glaives would make sure no one tried anything stupid, however being of the Dahuut, she was a sucker for tools, and wound up perchasing a new rattler...still she didn't regret the descision, a rattler was a rappidly firing crossbow, that could unload five bolts per trigger squeese and twenty five bolts without reloading, it was essentially an old school assault rifle and didn't need much training to use, honestly it was a good buy.*

*Sadly as the old saying goes, a fool and their money are soon parted, and as swiftly as she'd aquired enough to purchase her Tark ram, she'd squandered her Talons on tools food and lodging, with no Tark to carry them, As she sat there half a woman in her throat slathered in warm sweet sauces, she suddenly realized her folly...closed her eyes and enjoyed the meal, the womans chocolate brown skin slipping through her white scaled lips, her throat bulging with a voluptuous rump and hips, and the womans feet tickling inside her ravenous green belly, alas, she would have to solve this problem later...for now, she dined*

Re: Vore Tribes

Postby Sabi1 » Mon Apr 24, 2017 8:49 pm

The Atana rarely travelled far from home, well, these days at least... back in old days they were a well known and feared warrior tribe. The kind that could branch out as far as it wanted in any number of ways, trackers and guides for those who were brave enough, and willing to pay enough, to seek their aid. Mercenaries for higher, or even conquerors. Not so much any more though... their tough and dangerous perception, along with a tendency to cling to their own legend and myth had set them apart, made them less than desirable trade partners for those who would seek to form a more civilized future, and now the tribe was on the decline.

Because of that young and proven hunters such as Minoa were allowed to leave their tribal lands on their own pilgrimage to find themselves a mate and experience the world, that they may somehow integrate themselves, and their tribe, back into it. While it would be tempting to stay within the relatively safe and comfortable wooded areas, the first destination was actually that of a desert town, commonly referred to as Teka. It was an ideal first destination due to the mixture of people who congregated there, and the fact that it wasn't necessarily claimed by any tribe in particular, a melting pot, some place oddities could approach on a somewhat equal footing... or whatever.

Unlike Nala, carrying supplies wasn't a particularly big concern for Minoa, when you have a 30+ foot long thick and powerful tail at your disposal, it's easy to strap the essentials on and carry them along. For her this made travel through the desert rather easygoing. Extra water and food pouches attached safely to her tail, her trusty bow and arrows, as well as a sturdy sword, spear, and shield at the ready and within easy reach, all she really had to worry about was protecting her more susceptible upper body from the sun's harsh rays and protecting her supplies from scavengers. Not a particularly difficult task really. A simple shroud and shawl to cover her body and an eager tail and fangs for anyone foolish enough to attempt to poach her supplies.

Though approaching the city presented different problems. Firstly, she would stick out like a sore thumb, it's hard to miss the woman with the ridiculously long black snake tail instead of legs. Secondly, this place was far more active and bustling than her homelands. People were everywhere and the threat of someone stepping on her tail, or doing something to single her out or anger her in some way was high. Was she truly ready to deal with that? Subtlety and diplomacy were never particular strong points for her people. Still, it was what she must do if she ever wished to find what she'd set out for.

Still among the sand dunes, approaching the outskirts of town, she checked herself one last time. Making sure her hair was still braided and secure, her quiver and bow and other equipment were still securely strapped on.

She took a few deep breaths, finding this sudden social anxiety more overwhelming than any of her greatest hunts up to that moment. She had to fight the urge to grip her sword's hilt, preparing to swing it at a non-existent but ever looming and impending unknown threat. She also had to lower her shroud(hood) to reveal her face, otherwise her first impression would be that of a shifty and dangerous desert warrior, and most importantly, remember to smile, but not so much that your fangs and teeth show...

She forced herself to smile, the expression fairly awkward and obviously unnatural for her. Finally summoning up the courage and fortifying herself she entered the city. Her smile quickly gave way to an ongoing look of shock and surprise though as she entered and began to maneuver the streets. It was indeed busy and bustling, there were also all kinds of goods she'd hardly ever seen before.

Her tribe wasn't afraid of technology or averse to it in any way, but, when the ones making it don't exactly trust you, getting your hands on it isn't exactly easy or a common occurrence.

Despite herself, her tongue began to eagerly flicker quickly in and out, back and forth, tasting the air around her, taking in the city's unusual scents.

Luckily she was more taken aback by the new sights than she was focused on the people, otherwise their shocked, confused, scared, various other expressions would surely have irked her and elicited a fearsome hiss back. That wouldn't exactly be the greatest first impression either.

For now, luckily, she was able to make her way into the city blissfully unaware of the perceptions of those around her. Not being used to this sort of environment though her slither was still fairly wide and carefree. Right now this wasn't a problem as the people around her were watching, but, should someone not be paying attention, or she lose track of her tails position, it would be very easy for someone to trip over, or step on her tail, or even for her to inadvertently bump or knock over a stand. For now though, things were going as well as could be expected as she was experiencing this new world on her own for the first time.

(To summarize, Minoa has just entered the city and is somewhat carelessly slithering around as she takes in the sites, making her very easy to bump into or create an accident by knocking something over, etc.

Normally in a situation like this a naga like her should be making small quick movements with her tail to avoid taking up too much space or getting in the way. However, not used to being around so many people with legs, she is using a more traditional and relaxed S shaped slither which means her tail is moving along a wider path and much more likely to get in the way of those around her.

Making for a conveniently easy way to literally bump into, or trip over her, conveniently enough! XD )

Re: Vore Tribes

*Nala continued working the woman down her throat, she seemed to be enjoying the trip down into the Anthro Dragoness' belly, though without her wings she could be described as a horned lizard. As she slung her upper jaw over the womans supple breasts and licked over the back of her neck, Nala wondered 'why' she bought all the extra stuff. Coming to Old Teka she was determined to purchase a Ram, but once she got here the place just seemed to swallow her up, was this whole town a trap to take your belongings?*

*The crystal dragon gulped the womans head down hearing her gasp in pleasure as Nalas belly sucked her down into its sturdy muscular depths, the outline of her body vanishing between the dragons ample breasts as her belly bulged outward with Nalas meal, whom curled up in her warm green tummy. Nala placed her claw atop said gut. She promptly stood her hammer constantly gripped in her tail, and a new gator hide satchel from the Pattian jungles fat with goods and what coin she had left, she fitted to her belt*

*She payed for her meal up front as was the Old Teka way, no room for mistakes, if you didn't have the Talons you didn't eat, she was just leaving for the inn when she rounded the corner and caught her foot over something thick, heavy, and scaly...like a tire only...longer. And in a flash her face hit the dirt, and her belly was caught on the long hunk of snake with her big butt held up in the air...at least her mamoth coat kept her neathers covered. Her tail claw which held her crystal hammer, swung it wildly as she thought she was being attacked while she loosed loud growles and shrieks*

OOC: How did you buy a woman to eat? Was it some sort of slavetrade?
How do people reform?
Short post for now.

IC:
Jul was traveling with several of his tribemembers to trade tools and weapons for talons and salt, perhaps even some furs. Though they might be in a desert didn't mean that the nights couldn't get cold.
Their wares of trade were tied to a couple of large goats that had to be led on with a carrot to get them to move.

OOC: (Reply to bright)
1) You can purchase prisoners to eat, its not a slave trade, keeping prisoners can become expensive over time and if their not bailed out within a week, they go up for sale at the canteena.

2) People reform at totems, churches, or standing stones dedicated to their deity, there's places of worship around towns and especially in your hometowns. Because its a kind of divine intervention it isn't magic as only the gods can control reformation. You piss off your god, you might not reform.

3) There's usually a limit to how many times you can reform, your god probably gives you three chances if your a pred. For the sake of rp we'll say Preys get endless chances cause gods like tasty preys XD.

Minoa gasped and hissed instinctively as the sudden weight crashed down onto her tail.

'How DARE you! You blithering fool, you moron! How dare you trample me, prepare to feel my wrath!!!'
Is what she WOULD have said, but, she was trying to be social, starting a battle amid all these people wouldn't really help with that.
While hissing she rose up, lifting her upper body high up with her tail as she drew her sword, the rest of her tail, beneath and behind Nala, quickly whipped up and around wrapping around Nala's own tail. Minoa's tail wrapped around hers, the dragoness's flailing axe was halted. Being longer Minoa could put more strength into her grip.

"How DARE y--" she began to hiss before forcibly freezing herself in place. Almost sounding like she was humming as she caught herself and stopped herself from talking.
"Hmm...Hmm...Hmm..." Was the sound of her restrained voice as her tongue anxiously flickered at Nala.

She then quickly sheathed her sword before starting to loosen the grip on her tail.
"H--how... Do... You do...?" She asked awkwardly, trying to ignore or move past the fight about to break out if she didn't control herself.

((Hope this will suffice))

Name and Tribe]: Darius Korinth
[Species]: Human Were-wolf
[Sex]: Male
[Age]: 26
[Vore/Partner Preferences]: Any Pred leaning switch
[Backstory]: The Korinth tribe of the northeast mountains has been afflicted with Lycanthropy for generations. The living members no longer know how it came about, though they believe it to be a gift from the Wolf God Feneris. Darius is no exception to that, he sees his lycanthropy as a gift even if it is hard to control the beast within at times. The Korinth tribe is also known for its warriors, feared even. Though the tribe poses little threat to the world at large. In truth there are not many members of the tribe remaining. Darius himself is one of the tribes best warriors, having from a very young age shown a natural talent for battle and controlling the beast within him. He was one of the youngest members of the tribe to pass into adult hood at the age of 14. He completed his rite of passage and went about his adult life quickly rising to being a skilled warrior. Though inspite of his talent in battle he also has the charisma for politics usually able to diffuse most problems before blood shed happens. He set out to travel to see what he could learn from the world and to find ways that the Korinth tribe can secure prosperity for future generations.
[Character Description]: In human form Darius usually carries a an battle axe along with a bow and arrow. For his clothing it usually amounts to pelts of the beast he has slain, one particularly large bear is his favorite. His human form stands at 6ft 4in he has black hair and amber/gold eyes. He has a scar on his chest that was given to him by a bear...the same bear that now makes the bulk of his attire. His werewolf form stands at 8ft 3in and is quiet agile in spite of his size. Muscular and with a gray coat of fur. In both forms his sense of smell is amazing and he can track people via scent.

*As Nalla pulled herself to her feet she hissed saying*, "Unhand me!", *As she got a look at who she was talking to her eye started twitching as she just looked towards her mountain home it was visible even from here, looking at its peak she just shouted at it*, "Of coarse, the only Atana I've seen in a month and I'm the one who trips over their tail...You allready took my wings WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT!", *a white flash responded from the mountains*, "Pthaaaah", *she spat at the mountain peak before gathering her things and starting to return to the bar when she realized something was missing from her pouch...*, "My coin purse...h-HEY", *The Dahuutian whipped around with a hiss*, "DID YOU STEAL MY PURSE SNAKE?!".

*Nalla wasn't drunk...she was planning to though then someone swiped her purse, she still had a weeks worth of talons in there...now...just the junk she bought from the murchants...in reality the theif had stolen her purse from her handbag when she was eating the woman still squirming in her belly*, "Thats a pretty sneaky trick ya big worm, make it easy to trip over that noodle of yours'e and then knick a ladies purse when their face down in the dirt", *Clearly between the desert heat and a really really bad day the Dragon had lost it, she took her crystal hammer turning the terrible spikey side forward and ripped her tail free, a green crystal fanged hiss-growl let Minoa know she meant business"

*Old Teka was essentially a rogues town, there were only a few laws, Don't steal, if you do steal don't get caught, and if you start a fight, no weapons, and fight filthy. The guards immediately restrained Nala and Minoa, and took their weapons and gear off them as the townsfolk gathered around in a circle, mostly humans, one other Atana besides Minoa(a diamondback), that troop of Korinth wolf-people, and a pair of Dahuut Lightlings come to trade, you could tell Lightlings from Hunters because their faces were un-marked, a hunter is marked by their father and mother in a permanent tattoo, Nallas eye tattoos were red on top from her father, and dark green below from her mother. and resembled clouds as she was born to Cloudwatch, the Dahuut spiritual capitol.*

*Dahuut were as stubborn as a people could get, rowdy and brutish. That stereotype was in full display as even without her hammer she needed to whomp on something to clear her head...she honestly didn't care if Minoa stole from her or not. The crowd began chanting and someone brought out a big drum and started playing it, Nalas eyes narrowed into dagers the pupils glowing a blazing white that unnerving thing Dahuut did when they went into their trance...Then she charged Minoa, feinted and lept up to strike with her shin.*

(Lets be honest with all these warrior races in one place this was unavoidable, perhapse a fighting arena will become a popular sporting event in the city we build.)

"Hey, seems like there's a fight over there:" Jul called out to his fellow tribe members.
"Should we got take a watch?"
"Nah," There was a hoarse voice calling out. It was the Elder that followed the group.
"Those who have their eyes located on the fight will soon find their purse missing."
"What you mean?"
"If you get stuck in a mob, people will steal your shit when you're not looking."

The group pulled their goat to a place where they could sell their tools and weapons.
