Fair Folk training (LightningLord2 and TryMeIke)

Chestnut flies to the entrance of her demiplane, resembling a magical grove in a very typical fairy tale manner. Several pieces of wood, vines and such are arranged to form a training grounds like in the old times, along with some large trees whose hollows can be used as bedrooms. She would flutter about four feet above the ground, awaiting her student to be brought in.

(chestnuts the fighter type yes, so that would mean the student being brought to be taught is tou.)

hilda walked into the area and smiled wanly, bowing politely as she cuddled to her chest a young, six year old kitsune girl with a single tail and a expression of unwavering interest in everything she is observing. hilda smiled and said to chestnut. "hello there. this cuties adoptive mom, kim, has a request for training her daughter in the way of the swordsage. would you terribly mind chestnut? you will as always be amply compensated for your time and the fact you would be giving tou here room and board for the duration of the training."

"Very well, I accept.", replies Chestnut warmly, lowering to be on eye level with Tou. "So, if you're ready to start, I'll take you to the armory so we can start out with the basics.", she offers her, not minding if she wants to look around the demiplane a bit first. While the plane is fairly vast in size, the dorms and the practicing field are very close to the entrance.

hilda nodded and let the kitsune down onto her feet as she turned to leave, tou looking up at the fair folk girl with wide, wonder filled eyes.

Chestnut makes a following gesture and flies towards the armory, inviting Tou to follow her. She guides her to a weapon rack with wooden weapons suitable for her size, tapping a simple-looking shortsword. "I think you can start training with this one.", she says.

tou followed and gingerly tried to heft the weapon, managing it slowly but surely. "so chestnut, is that your name? should I call you master or?" she blushed, shy despite her desire to learn the wisdom of the way of the blade.

"You can say either as you like~", she says happily, drawing a sword herself fit for her size. "Well, before we can start doing any of the manuevers fit for a Swordsage, you will first need to be able to use the weapons normally.", she explains, taking off to lead her to the training grounds.

she followed and trotted along obediently after chestnut.

Chestnut smiles, showing her basic stances and striking motions, the small size allowing Tou to observe her entire body at once.

tous bright eyes gleam as she paid rapt attention to her tutors movements.

She smiles happily, pointing to a target next to her position. "Go ahead and try it yourself.", she says, closely studying her motions.

tou nods and said. "alright..." she began to try to emulate the motions that chestnut showed her, and got a fairly decent amount of them correct. however, not being used to the weapons weight, she did not get all of them right and some of the ones she did were imperfectly done.

While her motions are flawed, Chestnut was still visibly pleased, occasionally giving tips on posture and swings.

tou smiles and tries to work on improving them, but quickly tires out, the effort of this being so exacting on her at the moment she cannot keep it up for more then a half hour at most without a break.

Chestnut smiles as well, letting her take a break. She shows her where her bedroom is, allowing her to stay for a while.

tou snuggles into chestnut as she is in her bedroom, enjoying the comfort of physical contact with her tutor.

Chestnut blushes as she's snuggled, being so tiny compared to Tou. Still, she doesn't mind letting herself be held.

tou dozes off peacefully, waking up again the next morning.

Chestnut wakes up fairly soon, staying relaxed on Tou to let her sleep.

tou woke up fairly early as well, the empty rumble in her stomach showing that she had not eaten since yesterday.
