...The brochure couldn't have prepared either of them for what was to come next.
The town was very modest, with buildings having to rely on whatever pokemon were available inside if they wanted to have electricity and a somewhat more primitive water supply than you'd expect to find back home. It all made sense, of course. Trainers weren't expected to stay here. Really, it was probably more of a village than a town by anyone's standards. Today, however, it was bustling with people. Dawn managed to get a good three-quarters of a mile into the village, right into the square, before she was forced to slow down by another person crossing her path. Or rather, by her impact with that person. Dawn attempted to shift her weight out of the way at the last moment, but the boy in her path didn't show any signs that he was aware of her presence, making no effort to stop himself. Dawn felt an arm bury itself against her and was knocked flat on her rear. Being at the frankly incredibly modest height of 4'6'', she really couldn't win when it came to physical run-ins like this even when the other person didn't go out of their way to shove her. Speaking of which, that boy had just shoved her on purpose!
"HEY, watch who you're shoving road hog!" Dawn snapped, decidedly not satisfied with the violent way she'd just been greeted. ...A chill ran down her spine, however, as she observed about half a dozen people turn their heads and step forward in response to her shouting. They surrounded Dawn in a rather wide half-circle, taking rather assertive poses and eyeing her with contempt. "U-Um..." Dawn stammered out rather timidly, decidedly not so brave now that she'd become aware of something being amiss. Great--Just great. She'd somehow managed to make seven enemies in a single sentence. "What's a little cupcake like you doing in a place like this~?" one of the boys asked rather disingenuously. "Just because you're bigger than me doesn't mean you can shove--" Dawn replied in a softer tone, more defensive this time. She attempted to get back up as she spoke, only for the boy that had knocked her down in the first place to grab her beanie hat and shove her back down. Dawn landed on her bottom with a frightened little gasp. Her heart raced. She was being bullied, unfortunately not something new to her. But these bullies seemed ... particularly hands-on about how they went about it. A chuckle escaped the boys and they watched her expectantly. "Hey--Gimme my hat back!" Dawn blurted out, shifting to get back up again. Another boy shifted forward and shoved her back down. "Si'down. Know your place." he snapped, earning a pout from Dawn. What did he mean by that..? The frustrated trainer went silent.
"What place is that, huh? On the ground?" an accusing voice asked. Having witnessed some of what was going on, Rosa had decided to intervene! Stepping forward, she took her place at Dawn's side. "Don't you have anything better to do than pick on little girls?" Rosa went on to taunt rather snappily, unintimidated by the group's numbers. Dawn simultaneously shot Rosa a sore look even as she subtly shifted behind the other's leg slightly. As much as she appreciated the help, she really wished people would stop making height related comments. The boys glanced about each other, several murmurs of amusement leaving them. Finally, the one that shoved spoke up. It seemed like he might be the ring-leader, judging by the way he kept speaking for the group. "Yeah~ I'd rather pick on a big girl." he remarked. Rosa just sort of stood there for a moment in bewilderment, her expression blanching in mild frustration. Now, she was certainly bigger than Dawn but she wasn't exactly tall either. In fact, she was still somewhat short! Finally, she noticed what the group was doing. Their eyes were falling a bit 'short' of hers. She followed their gaze... straight to her breasts. In spite of her size, Rosa had been gifted with a very well-endowed bust. This was compared to Dawn, who was relatively flat. Before she could probably react to this, a hand reached out and rather rudely grabbed one of her breasts, eliciting a pained yelp from Rosa.
"Oh ha-ha! Very funny! Why don't you jerks just leave us alone??" Rosa replied, her nose wrinkling in disgust. Who even did that?? What was wrong with these punks? "Hear that? This girl thinks she's better than us." the leader remarked. The way he stressed his words gave Rosa and Dawn pause. What had he just said..? "I've got more balls than you guys~" Rosa coldly cooed in response, drawing and priming two of her pokeballs and wiggling them about as if to make a point. And just like that, with a chorus of aggressive shouting, the fight was on.
...And it didn't end well. Outnumbered and surprisingly enough outmatched, both Dawn and Rosa were soundly defeated in the heated battle that followed. It was enough to draw a crowd, as it turned out the boys were very strong trainers in their own right.
As the battle concluded, the lead boy approached the girls with his cronies behind him. Rosa promptly stepped in front of Dawn, slipping her wounded pokemon back in her bag. "What now, ladies?" the leader asked, his choice of words somewhat sarcastic. "...You won fair and square. But I won't let you pick on this girl! You can have two of my badges instead. . . . But just what's with you and picking on girls, huh?" Rosa reluctantly replied. She didn't like this, but they had beaten her. She had no choice but to back off the offensive. "Hehe--This tournament's for boys only. That's the local bro code. No girls are allowed to compete." the leader replied in a matter-of-fact tone. "What??" "Why not??" Dawn and Rosa replied in disbelief, almost in unison. "It's simple, dummies! We all want to win, so we're teaming up to eliminate the weaker trainers." the leader explained rather smugly. This caused Rosa to blush slightly in embarrassment. "And by weaker trainers you mean girls??" she replied in a flustered tone. "Don't be like that, baby~ It's not my fault things are the way they are. Boys are just naturally stronger than girls~! Heh. Smarter too." the leader replied in a sickeningly unapologetic tone. "...Too bad you can't be nicer." Rosa replied rather sorely. If her pokemon weren't down and out, she would have challenged them to a rematch on the spot, just to try and defend her honor.
"Heh. You've got a mouth on you. You're lucky I'm into you or I wouldn't be so patient. ...Speaking of which, I'm feeling merciful. How about this. I'll let you and your little baby friend--" the leader began, causing Dawn to hang her head and sulk tearfully. Not exactly helping your case there, Dawn. She'd sustained a bit too much bullying in a short time. "stick around. And all you have to do is be my girlfriend and do whatever I want. ...That includes me~" the leader finished, hesitated a good moment before making that last remark with a return of that smug tone from earlier. Thoroughly hot in the cheeks from all the unwanted attention she was getting, Rosa lost her temper for a moment. "...Ugh, you're such a creep!" Rosa blurted out, only to realize that in her desire not to be objectified she had inadvertently provoked the group again. There was silence for a moment as the leader seemed to consider Rosa's words. He motioned to his goons and they quickly moved to surround the girls again, this time in a full circle. Dawn huddled close to Rosa for protection and an arm found its way around her in return, holding her close. The shorter girl looked about in confusion. Why wasn't anyone helping..? To her horror, the crowd only watched with a resigned look in their eyes. Worse yet, they were making it difficult for anyone to get past them so they could get to the scene. How often did this sort of thing happen that nobody even bothered to try and help?? "In that case, let's show these dummies what happens when the weaker sex wants to compete..." the leader coldly remarked, closing in on the duo.
In just a moment Rosa was grabbed and yanked forward. Dawn attempted to hold onto the other's waist and pull her back, but merely got knocked over when Rosa briefly pulled free, inadvertantly butt-bumping Dawn. The trainer fell and watched in horror as Rosa was pulled into something of a chokehold, her protests muffled as she was put in something of a chokehold. The boys grabbed at her, tugging at her clothes, pinching her bra open, yanking her out of her shoes, groping... But it wasn't over yet. No. After they'd have their fill of manhandling, Dawn froze in abject disbelief tainted with a certain queasiness as the leader opened his mouth wide and enveloped Rosa's head! She was paralyzed there on the ground, watching as Rosa was pulled deeper and deeper inside of him, vanishing more and more with each greedy, gluttonous swallow. A muffled shriek met her ears, causing her to flinch, as she now found herself staring at the leader's distended, shifting stomach. The next thing she knew, he was towering over her as she gawked. A hand shaped bulge nearly touched her cheek as if reaching out to her from within, causing her to lean back slightly. Sorry Rosa, but no way. A shudder ran down her spine as a chorus of mixed with faint cries for help met her ears, the sounds of a person that had tried to protect her starting to digest. "How about you, bl--BRRAAAAAAAAAAAP" the leader began, only for a tremendous belch to escape him, a blast of warm, smelly air and spittle blowing past the fallen trainer and causing her to gag, only for Rosa's soaked skort to smack her in the face, its wet fabric sticking to her. Apparently it had been pulled down while she was being swallowed.
"...How about you, bluenette. Ready for your turn?" the leader asked. "N-No..?" Dawn mousily replied in a pleading tone, gingerly beginning to peel Rosa's skort off her face as she regained some fraction of composure. "What was that? Did you just say 'No?' Good girls don't use that word. What do we do with to disobediant girls again~?" the leader replied rather smugly. Dawn know full well what he meant in spite of his playful tone, and her desire not to meet a similar fate as Rosa sent her into a panic. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! Please don't eat me..!" Dawn pleaded frantically, shifting onto her hands and knees to beg. This earned a chuckle from the boys. "Oh? That's not the tune you were singing before... What changed~?" the leader replied encouragingly. "You we-were right! Boys are--!" Dawn began,
only for the leader to interrupt her. "Uh-uh~! Stand up and say it ... to your friend." the leader went on. This all felt wrong, but Dawn had no choice. She just hoped that Rosa would forgive her. "Don't listen to him Dawn!" Rosa's very muffled voice shouted from within the leader's gut. ...Dangit. Dawn gazed upon the leader's belly for a moment, taking notice of the way a bulge that hadn't been there before was now pressing up into his fleshy belly from below, distending it ever so slightly inwards. ...ew...
Taking a deep breath, Dawn stood up and was beckoned ot stand right before the leader's gut, which she did. "Now, tell her what you learned~" the leader instructed. " . . . He's right..." Dawn relented lamely. "Louder! I want to hear your conviction." the leader lightly scolded. Dawn swallowed her anxiety and placed her hands on her hips. "...He's right. Boys are better than girls." Dawn stated firmly. A muffled protest was heard from within the leader, but Dawn couldn't make out what was said. "And?" the leader requested, flustering Dawn a little. "...They're better at anything and everything. That's just how it is." she went on, attempting to mimic the leader's earlier remarks. "You don't actually mean that..!" Rosa's voice pleaded. "Yes, I do." Dawn stated rather firmly. "No! You're just... saying that!" Rosa cried out, just barely audible over the gurgling of the leader's stomach. "No, I'm not! They're better and that's that!" Dawn replied. "That's not true..!" Rosa pleaded, encouraging Dawn to stand up for herself. However, Dawn was getting tired of acting. Her patience grew thin. Jabbing her pointer finger into the leader's belly, Dawn raised her voice. "Haven't you caused enough trouble?! Boys are better and that's that! That's why you're in there and I'm out here! Now hush..!" Dawn snapped.
"Hmm hmm... Excellent--BRAAAP--... Are you sure you don't want to try and save your friend~?" the leader remarked. Dawn could tell that this was a trap, just because of who it was coming from. "N-No... You can keep her! She needs to learn her... place anyway." Dawn replied, turning her back on the leader's stomach and folding her arms. She felt gross saying those things, but it was better than getting eaten too--right..? ...By now, Iris and Hilda would have had time to take notice of the commotion and push their way through the stubborn crowd, likely having witnessed at least the last part of that painful exchange where Dawn was forced to betray Rosa.
