"Another day, another...nickle? I think that's how the saying goes..." Avery mused to himself in his head as he silently walked down the halls of Oswald Boarding School. Oswald was a notoriously strict and orderly school, and it was not often that somebody would stop out of line. It was so strict, the graduating class of that year was usually much smaller than the amount of students attending at the beginning of the year. It made the campus feel weirdly empty at times, but better that than getting bullied or something.

Avery kept walking down the hall. His first class wouldn't start for another 30 minutes, so he decided to stop by the cafeteria and get some breakfast.

The hallways looked pretty dead as most of the small population of students were scatter all over the campus. There was about five hundred students attending as this year graduating class was the largest out of the history of the school and toke most of the student count with them, but that was not the only cause for the small student population as there was student being expelled and punished that added to the numbers. Within a month or two the Oswald Boarding School will look like a ghost town.

There was still several students eating breakfast. The cafeteria menu always was made fresh and was never the served the same week, as they had some top cooks preparing meals for both staff and students. The menu for breakfast was eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, and fresh cut fruit all for five dollars and usually gets cheaper and portions are bigger to get ride of the rest

Avery got to the cafeteria, and after letting his eyes wander, approached the order line and got his breakfast. "Geez, this is like a gourmet breakfast..." He thought to himself as he carried his tray and placed it at an empty table. He wasn't trying to avoid anybody, it was just easier to sit by himself than crash someone else's party.

As he started eating, Avery noticed more and more how food he'd been given. It would certainly give him a strong start to the day, but he wondered how it would effect his figure. It was bittersweet watching Miss Scarlet walk away. More so bitter as Avery realized he still hadn't finished his food. Hectically, he shoveled as much as he could into his mouth, his fast eating getting his stomach to groan and grumble. He was certainly full after that. Well there were few other teachers who needed students to teach as they are the school's gym teacher Mrs. Neil who loved to worked her students and punish any slackers, Ms. Yang the computer and keyboarding teacher who was rather good at making digital art and more, and lastly one of the math teacher Mrs. Vance who happen to teach geometry and love shapes. But Avery better fine out where he needed to go for homeroom or he can be punished either way

With a quick glance at his schedule, Avery recognized where he needed to go, Ms. Neil's class. He groaned at having to exercise so early in the day, but even more so at the fact that the gym wasn't exactly super close to where he was now. He had no idea he was in for a punishment for being late, but was simply embarrassed by being late, especially on his first day.
